oh the beauty of the interiors, the host, the venetian-ness of it all! the host was an actual ray of sunshine, she would put you in a good mood (in my case i was ill and was still compulsively smiling as i was speaking to her)

the interiors, attention to detail, the delicacy. if you want a venetian experience this is the way to go. it is also located close tor the rialto bridge which is one of the few main bridges - if you do not wish to take ferries across the bigger rivers this bridge is the best mode of crossing! location is very central, a 15 minute walk from the train station, but given the size of venice every location is central to a point.

Elena, our host, went the extra distance to accommodate and provide us with Venice related information. Spacious room and the small outside common courtyard was charming. Great breakfast. Very good position and very close to the ‘Silvestro’ Vaporetti dock on the Grand Canal. Slightly tucked away down an alley off Aponal Piazza which made it tricky to find initially but added to the sense of security and charm.

Very minor issue was the shower head needs cleaning. It provided a combination of a weak water stream and stronger with the varying streams going in different directions. Just needs the head to be removed and cleaned out.

Spacious and clean room with a modern, clean bathroom. We got the triple room as for a couple and the extra space of an entire other room was very nice to have! Location is nicely away from the main, busy, expensive parts and yet only a 10 minute walk from Rialto Bridge and 15 from San Marco. Breakfast was simple but tasty, which suited me well. Elena and Samuel were wonderful hosts.

One build: the room didn't have any table lamps, which was fine in the summer but it would have been nice to have some more mood lighting.

Our host was wonderful - she was so friendly and upbeat! Helped us out with suggestions around the city. RD is in an easy location: quick walk from the vaparetto stop, near a cute piazza. Easy to walk to any major landmark. Bed was comfortable and the room was quite large. We were there during a heat wave 95F and the AC worked like a champ. Wifi worked well. It was very quiet at night. It's not a luxury property but a solid mid-range choice. Would recommend.

The shower enclosure was small

Rialto Dream was in a great location! Access to restaurants, shopping, water taxi and sights was excellent. The hosts, Elena and Samuel were very helpful in recommending things to do in the area, providing directions and serving exceptional breakfast. The accommodations were extremely clean and comfortable. As a woman staying alone, I felt very safe and comfortable. Highly recommend this property for a stay in Venice.

I liked it all. There are stairs to the rooms, but Venice has stairs everywhere!

once we found the location, was excellent and easy to access Venice. Breakfast was excellent! The bed was comfortable.

Did not realize how extremely allergic I was to the down feather comforter. Took several bouts of medicine and several hours before I realized what was initiating the extreme histamine release. Would have liked wash-cloths. Also the shower floor is very slippery. All the marble, actually is very slick. A bidet would also be nice, but noticed that throughout Greece, they also were not available.

Elena was a wonderful hostess! She had given us detailed directions on how to get to the B&B ! Made us scrambled eggs even though we slept 😴 in after our long flight! The courtyard was perfect for a relaxing breakfast and cappuccino! Alena told us which vaporetto route to take. The Rialto Dream is within walking distance of Rialto Bridge. The suggestion of a restaurant resulted in a wonderful fish dinner with Tiramasu for dessert! A memorable holiday in Venice!

Being a weekend it was extremely busy

It's an amazing option in the very center of the city, especially if you are traveling with elderly person like I did - vaporetto stop is literally one minute away, it saved us so much walking and energy since it's a bit difficult for my grandma to walk! But even by walking you can reach all main tourist attractions within 10-15 min by walking. There is also a little grocery shop 2 minutes away, where you can buy water and some snacks. Our room was extremely clean and calm, we had a nice bathroom with a big window. And the owners of the place are really amazing :) Very warm and helpful people, they gave us many tips which made our experience much better.

Breakfast was great … home-made croissants and cookies, fresh tomatoes and cucumbers from the owner’s own garden, delicious cappuccino and scrambled eggs made to order. The freshly picked pears were just wonderful! It was lovely enjoying our breakfast in the charming covered courtyard. In addition to being a very good cook, Samuel is a great conversationalist and a wealth of information about where and how to go to places in Venice. We had an early flight to catch and didn’t have time for another lovely breakfast. So Samuel made us a To Go Bag with all the things we liked. So thoughtful! Delightful and helpful! The B&B’s location is near the water taxis and a short walk to everything. Very convenient! Note: there were 2 restaurants very close by, but neither one was worth the walk. Ask Samuel for his recommendation. We were given a complimentary upgrade to a superior room. It was on the third floor in a building without elevators. But that’s OK, it was a surprisingly short and easy climb to our room, even for a 70-year old with bad knees and a balance issue!

Need to add a railing for the first few steps of the uppermost flight of stairs.

The location is amazing, so was the blanket and the breakfast :) but my greatest compliments go to the host. She was very kind and helpful, she explained all about the must-sees in Venice, provided us with a map, and was extra helpful when I complained about my headche - she went and brought me effective medicine right away. Also, she printed our plane tickets home. If I'm ever again in Venice, I'm staying at Rialto Dream.
