Location, comfortable, close to all places, and clean. Great breakfast too.

The receptionist was not ready to take the city tax via card. They wanted cash so that they can consume all the city tax into their own pockets. I requested and the receptionist lady said that if I pay using card, I will have to pay almost 1.5x. This is crazy. I am traveling all of Europe since past 4 months and no hotel literally asked me pay tax in cash. Please rectify this.

The location is excellent, you can walk everywhere, but there is also a vaporetto stop, a bus station and a train station next to the hotel. Very good restaurants nearby (as well as tourist traps, but you don't have to eat in them). The room needs repair, the wallpaper and carpet are dirty. The bathroom is tired. Everything looks better and cleaner in photos than in reality. Breakfast was ok, there was egg and bacon, yogurt and croissants, of course also ham and cheese. The room was small, but the bed was comfortable and big. The temperature in the room was cool (we were in this hotel in November), we couldn't get the heating to work, that was the only real minus. Ok, I would also complain about the cleanliness, but the room just needs repair. The location was super good and the price was ok, so next time I will choose the same hotel. So actually I recommend this hotel.

The hotel is a few minutes walking distance from the train station, making it super convenient for those arriving by train. Although we were not able to check in early, they did let us use the restroom to change and allowed us to leave our bags while we went to explore. The breakfast that is provided had a great range of items like fruit, breads, cereals, eggs, and ham.

The staff were okay but not the friendliest. You are allowed to leave your bags while you go out to explore but the area that you leave your bags in is not monitored by anyone so it all depends on your comfort with that.

Close to train station and Bus to airport runs every 30 mins get ticket off machine in English. There’s a Spar shop next to hotel we found cheap for “Beer” Sandwiches and snacks. We booked on line to go on,up in ‘lift to St Marks Bell Tower” very god view!! save 2hrs waiting in queue. (Advised to book on line day before any excursions)We used our map on phone it was a nice walk going over different bridges and seeing shops. We purchased tickets on booking.com for Glass Museum 10/10 got water taxi (number 3) by bus stop got tickets opposite services. Good waking shoes you must wear and watch and for Pickpockets!! Gondola we didn’t bother we found it such ridiculous price €80 for two of us. Water taxi to island glass museum was €33 return better value 40 journey.

Nice location clean a it’s what you get coming to Italy. Very busy place. Breakfast 10/10 lots of choice.

The location was superb. The water taxis, train station as well as bus stops were within walkable distance. The breakfast was also really nice. Overall the stay was very nice. The room had air conditioning which was a big plus,

The air conditioning was difficult to switch off and on. It was not possible to plug in the hair straightener.

Great cozy hotel in Venetian style with perfect location: 5 mins on foot from the central railway station Venezia Santa Lucia and the Vaporetto stations, 10 mins on foot from the local bus station at Piazzale Roma with transfer buses to Treviso and Marco Polo airports. The area is crowded but the hotel is quiet. The supermarket Spar is next door. Very good breakfast and the staff is friendly and helpful. The convenient time for a check-out is 11.00. You can leave your luggage in the lobby after check-out.

The room could be a little bit larger :-). And the elevator didn't work for a couple of days.

Very close to the station (about 100m), and close to restaurants. Right next door to a grocery store. The whole hotel was very nice and well designed. The staff was wonderful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious. This was a great value for the money.

Our first room had a leaking air conditioner, but they were able to move us to a different room the next day. The new room was clean and comfortable. We tried to get rooms that fit three people, but there were only doubles available. Not sure if they have any rooms that can accommodate more than two people. If you are traveling as a couple, this is a great place.

Somehow the request about the bed type we left on Booking.com didn't go through to the property (they showed proof), but the ladies on the front desk did their best to find us a room with 2 twin beds, and it turned out to be a bigger room, so we were super happy. The breakfast was good, the elevator was working, the room was big and quiet, and all that within 3 min walking from the train station made us very happy with our choice. Yes, the property might use some renovation, but even bearing that in mind I still think it's underrated. Definitely will stay again.

it was exactly same as pictures, clean, good breakfast, perfectly helpful staff and amazing location. the location wouldn’t have been better if think. 1min to train and bus station so when you enter to the island, you just land your luggage and walk around because be careful about the location in Venice, you dont wanna walk with your luggages with sooo many stairs all around the city

They would had a staff or more safe place to store luggages after you checked out. but we didn’t have anything stolen so a bit spoiled comment :) everything was perfect with the hotel

I travelled to Venice in May 2023 and stayed at Hotel Belle Epoque for 2 nights. The hotel is located very close to the Venezia Santa Lucia train station (3 mins walk) & Ferrovia Vaporetto (water bus stop) 2 mins walk. It is very convenient to walk from the hotel to the important monuments like St. Marks Square, Doges palace etc. There are several restaurants within few minutes of walk from the hotel. Although the hotel is located on a busy street, the room was very quiet at night.

I could get any Wi-Fi signals in the room during my 2 nights of stay in the hotel. However, I observed that Wi-Fi works (connects) while I am near the reception desk / restaurant only. There is no lift in the hotel & the staircase is very steep. It is very cumbersome to lift heavy luggage from the ground floor to the 2nd floor (where my room was located).
