A dream place to stay!! Our room was small but perfect for us two and had everything that we needed. We shared a bathroom with another room and there were no trouble with it + it was spotless clean throughout the day. The location is unbeatable: right in the center of Venice but in a quiet little street which we loooved. I’d definitely consider staying here again! Thank you!!!

Casa Petrarca is located near major attractions: 5 min walk to Rialto bridge , 5 min walk to Piazza San Marco . It is also located in the quiet street / alley , surrounded by shopping streets, restaurants and canals. The room is beautiful, nicely decorated , clean; well functioning AC ( very important in Venice ) . Our room has a nice view of the canals . You can see gondola from the window. The room is also light and airy, without any carpeting ( a plus for allergy sufferer ) . Breakfast is simple , yet nutrituous and delicious . The host /manager is very pro active and helpful with any tours and direction from / to airport , as well as train station . We really enjoyed our stay . Sole the dog is also very welcoming and friendly. We had a wonderful time. One thing : If you need a very large bathroom , this is not the hotel you want to pick .

The staff was incredibly friendly and the location was prime! Upon arrival, the staff was so welcoming. The check in process was easy and everyone was very pleasant. This ended up being one of my favorite places I stayed in Italy solely based on the warm and welcoming energy. They help with my luggage and offered an upgrade that they had available at the time. The property was in a great location. It was conveniently located next to all the shops and restaurants. It was set in a little alley just off the main path that was safe and charming. The property inside was clean and cozy.

Everything was absolutely perfect! The room was clean and had everything we needed. The owner was very friendly and helped us with restaurants recommendations, transportation advice, and even got us a clothes steamer when we asked. Breakfast and coffee were also included and it was tasty, with wide plenty options to choose from. Finally, the location was amazing since the hotel is 5 minutes walk from the St. Marko’s basilica, and yet it is in a calm street so you can normally sleep at night. All in all, we could not recommend this place more!

We stayed here with two kids ( 5 years and 9 years old). The location is perfect. It is very close to San Marco and Rialto but it is not crowded street. The room is clean and big enough according to Venice standards. We have a nice canal view. The owner is very helpful. We did need a stroller and she found a place for rent and arrange the pick up from hotel which saves us. They serve a nice breakfast.

The location is central and walkable to everything. The canal view room is absolutely worth the extra money! We loved watching the gondolas and hearing the singing and music throughout the day. It was very quiet at night as well. Breakfast was lovely and they had a coffee and tea station in the lobby for early risers.

Wouldn’t change anything. It’s not easy to find (it’s Venice!) but the instructions for finding it from the train station were flawless.

The location is absolutely amazing, truly in the heart of Venice and minutes from so many great locations. The staff is extraordinary, very welcoming and helpful. Very clean room as well, I can’t believe the price for all things considered.

The room is small compared to a typical hotel room in America, but it really can’t be compared to that standard due to the size places have to work with in Venice. The shared bathroom wasn’t our favorite idea at first but again, it worked out perfectly fine and wasn’t an issue at all! It is maintained very nicely.

The location is perfect. The main attractions are very close. Valentina, our hostess, was wonderful. She was very friendly and helped us find good restaurants. She was always attentive. She does speak several languages, you won’t have problem a communicating with her! The room was spacious and spotless. We had great views from our room. I recommend asking for room number 7. You will get a view from a small canal and will enjoy seeing the gondola passing by, and will see the street from the other window. You will also have a sitting area. Marvelous room! Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. I highly recommend this hotel. Thank you Valentina for your hospitality, we will come back!

Everything was perfect.

The location of the property was fairly close to where we wanted to be. Within walking distance from our arrival. Our room was gorgeous and the location with a view of a canal was spectacular. We did spend time in our room away from the busy streets at times to have wine and looking at the “traffic” local gondolas going by!!

The bathroom was very tight. But functional.

The location is excellent. the property is an old venetian home and so very quirky. the rooms were not huge, but only to be expected of this type of accommodation. We went for the small double and it was more that adequate for our 3 day stay. the host is lovely and was very informative. The breakfast was varied and there was plenty of it. if i went again I would probably upgrade for the canal view.
