Staff were very friendly. Location was very good as well.

That I booked through Priceline for 3 person room. Beds were shown for 3 as well. When I got there it was for a reservation of 2. So I was charged more when I specifically made sure I was booking for 3. Shame on Priceline and booking.com

Cute hotel in a perfect location next to a canal....close to shops, restausants, and all the key sites. We loved our fantastic suite with a canal view...seeing the gondolas passing below our windows and hearing the gondoliers singing will be in our memories forever. The Staff were very friendly, helpful and truely cared to make our stay very pleasant. They were so helpful in getting our transportation to the airport... A boat ride located right next to the hotel to the airport..Outstanding...down the canals, pass the Grand Canal out to the open seas to the airport. We will be back again !!

I liked the hotel a lot !! I really recommend this hotel ! Check-in and check-out process was quick. We arriver very late, but they were open, always someone there. Room was great, very clean, fresh air, nice old street corner view, old roofs, very Venice style.. Bathroom was very clean, everything was there what we needed. Brakfast was nice, very delicious ! Staff was very very friendly ! And huge thanks for the special extras I asked for :) The hotel was near a lot of shops, marks square was 10 minutes away, everything else too, perfect location. I really cannot think of anything that we didn't like. So I really recommend this hotel to everyone. I will visit you again when I come back to Venice !!!

Location was fantastic. Far enough from St Marks Square but still central. Staff were so helpful. The buffet breakfast has lots of options and varied from day to day which we liked.

It not having a lift didn’t bother us but potentially having to do several flights of stairs may be an issue for some. Staff are willing to help with baggage.

The receptionists were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel gave great instructions and tips on how to get to them from different points and that was extremely helpful. The neighborhood was quiet although it was very close to San Marco's plaza.

It seems there is a construction right next to the hotel and they started making noise after 9:00 am. We were awake but no one told us about the potential noise in the morning. I just kept thinking that if we wanted to sleep in, that would have been a problem.

Hotel was clean and staff was very nice. Good location, great coffee bar across from the hotel, lots of restaurants and shopping in the immediate vicinity. Best prices on leather that we saw throughout Italy!

Location is a little tough to get to with suitcases - you have to take the water taxi there and then walk with your bags and we had to go over several small bridges, up and down stairs. Tough with large suitcases, but manageable and no elevator in hotel but staff will assist with your bags if needed.

Fantastic location in San Marco! Venice is small anyway but hotel is very close and an easy walk to the main sites - Rialto Bridge and St Mark's Square, tons of restaurants etc. I was travelling alone so, the room alongside a decent sized ensuite, was perfect for one person. Breakfast was reasonable but mostly similar every day. Staff were lovely and very helpful, someone working 24/7 at reception. I didn't spend too much time in my room as I was only there for 3 nights and had plenty to see. I would 100% recommend this hotel. Bed was firm but comfortable for me and pillows are absolutely amazing!

There was not a lot in terms of storage in the room (just a desk and one wardrobe). Also there was not a lot of space around the bed apart to walk. This was fine for one person but if you are two people or going to be spending some more time in your room, other than to sleep, I may suggest a larger room. A kettle and mugs for some hot drinks would have been nice, but the staff always got me some hot water if I asked for it.

Location: Extremely great for families with small kids as it is in the center of Venice Room: The pictures are misleading about size but coziness is on another level. Great balcony and is super clean with great ambiance and comfort. The only problem was with the size Staff: Mindblowing staff, I never feel like we are in a hotel, Super, kind, excellent, Supportive, directive. This is a great example for the hospitality industry where customer care is beyond professionalism and the Hotel Mercury staff scored best of it. Extremely nice staff.

Size of room.

Hotel Mercurio is just a 5-min walk to St Mark’s Square as well as to boat docks for sightseeing and to the airport. It is surrounded by countless shops and eateries. Rialto Bridge is also a 5-min walk away. Really great location The pre-arrival email is very helpful and provides an important map showing how to find the hotel amidst the extremely confusing Venice streets. The staff was really wonderful, especially Marika, who clearly enjoys assisting guests get the most out of their stay in Venice. She was a fantastic resource for insider tips. The hotel allows for leaving your bags both before check-in and after check-out free of charge, which is extremely helpful. The breakfast area is very quaint and had a nice assortment of morning food, including hot choices, as well as an attentive staff.

Like many European hotels, the walls are very thin; you can clearly hear other guests in the hallway as well as their rooms. It’s easy to miss the hotel because the outside sign sits high on the building, not at eye level. Just use Google Maps and there won’t be an issue coming back at night. Luggage left before check-in and after check-out is stored near or right at the reception desk area, not in a locked room. This means other guests frequently are walking by the luggage. It’s not really an issue, though: just use a luggage lock if worried about this. And the reception desk is staffed 24 hours a day, so no one can walk upstairs from the street without easily being seen by the desk attendant. I would stay at Hotel Mercurio again.

After two misunderstanding nights in Antico Panada-San Zulian, I did booking in Mercurio Hotel, which is absolute wonderful. Incredible and sweet staff who even ready to give you a room before check-in. I feel comfortable in narrow premises, but it was nice that a room and a bathroom are big in space. And wonderful breakfast with a big choice.

I don't think it was right to install room close to the hotel's entrance and reception, because it's noise was uncomfortable for me. Not complain, but a janitor must be a meticulous, because I detected a piece of hair on a floor.
