Absolute best location! Vanessa our host, was so welcoming and so knowledgeable and such a beautiful person. Her advice saved us lots of time and made it possible to cover so much more of Venice than we could have hoped. I would recommend Residence Corte Grimani to anyone visiting Venice.

Excellent pre-arrival communication. Vanessa at the front desk was a delight, with plenty of advice, recommendations, and help navigating the Venice transportation system. Luggage storage for check-out day was excellent, with easy mid-day access before our eventual departure from Venice. Short walk to both Rialto and St. Mark's Square. Handy tip: Use your ATM card to open the door to the cash machine at Deutsche Bank near Rialto. No fee, and the private room relieves anxiety over theft.

Location, cleanliness, size and facilities could not be better. By far the cleanest place I have ever stayed, directly on a canal and within 2-3 blocks of St. Mark's Square. Ample eating & shopping nearby.

The mattresses on the beds could use an update, but even that didn't distract from an absolutely wonderful stay.

We are seasoned travelers and this is our 4th time in Venice, where we have lived in different areas. This corner of quiet and authentic Venice, but at the same time a few minutes to Realto and a few minutes to San Marco, to the Teatro C. Goldoni, hundreds of restaurants and all kinds of shops, including a good supermarket - it couldn't be better. The Aparthotel itself: We got from the airport by vaporetto and got off at the Realto Bridge station. It's a 4-minute walk from there, but we could get lost. Vanessa came out to meet us at the place where we were. Vanessa immediately and happily solved any problem or request. We have never seen such a personal, responsive attitude towards tourists. Vanessa, we bow to you for your uniqueness! The apartments are equipped with everything necessary for life, very spacious, elevator, comfortable bed, wide doors, beautiful furniture e.t.c.

This property is a real gem! Everything was amazing from the beginning; a day before our arrival, we received a text message with details instructions how to find the Residence very easily. The check-in has been absolutely incredible and we felt very welcomed. The rooms were spacious and fully equipped - from dishwasher, coffee maker, washing machine, the room had everything! We were also nicely surprised with having two bathrooms. And the view from the room is so dreamy, it makes the stay in Venice more magical. Lastly, the location of the residence is directly in the city centre - just 3 minutes of walk from Piazza Sant Marco. We can only highly recommend this wonderful place :)

This property was perfectly located! Close to everything we wanted to see. Vanessa was amazing and met us to help with our luggage, because the water was too high at the hotel and the private taxi had to let us off at the Rialto stop on the grand canal. It was a 4 min walk. The room was very clean and roomy.

No AC. It was advertised as having AC, and it did, but was shut off for the season and could not be put back on, we tried! We were very warm, sweating, and difficult to sleep. When we opened the windows, mosquitos came in the room. There was apparently a “machine” in the kitchen that was on to kill the mosquitos, it did not work, they were everywhere and therefore we could not open windows. We were told we could not put the AC on because of some rules in Venice and the EU. We knew people staying at another hotel that had their AC on. The weather was sunny and mid 70’s during the day, and the room all closed up was quite warm by evening time when we returned. This is my only complaint, to an otherwise wonderful hotel.

Staff were well informed and very friendly. Willing to give directions, make recommendations, and take a minute to talk. Well maintained. Loved listening to the Gondolaaries sing, call out commands as they expertly maneuvered through the canal. Some crazy electrical issues with the stove ( added to the charm ). The stove ( cook top ) wouldn't work if it was wet or damp. Loved loved,loved having an elevator, and a washer and dryer . Plenty of hot water!

The twin beds were uncomfortable and hard. We were five travelers and were given 2 bottles of water for our stay of 7 days.

We thoroughly enjoyed a couple of nights at the Residence, which was very conveniently located between the Rialto Bridge and St Mark's Square areas (about 10 minutes to either destination without luggage). Due to a late flight into Marco Polo airport we had pre-booked a water-taxi which delivered us literally to the front door! Although reception was unmanned (we arrived after 11pm), everything we needed for access (door codes etc.) was in place and worked perfectly. The rooms were spacious, very comfortable and clean. Next morning, at passport registration, we were given some excellent advice for possible breakfast and meal locations by the ever-helpful Vanessa. This will definitely be our first choice for any return trip to Venice.

The Corte Grimani , if I need to described it in one world I would say , it is COMPLETE , miss nothing. Amazing , historic Veneziano building from outside , very modern & well equipped from inside. Won’t believe it. Alberta , was amazing. She welcomed us at the door step , explain everything & guid us to most amazing place you can have breakfast in Venezia. Of course, very big thanks also to Vanessa , she really amazing, send me all the details, what to do , where to eat & the best gelato place before I reach Venezia. So I was already have plan even before I step in Venezia. And always lessen to Italian Mama. Thanks Vanessa , Thanks Alberta. Wish you all the best. If I have a chance to back to Venezia & definitely will back , Residence Corte Grimani is always my choice to stay.

You couldn’t ask for a better location: the apartment is in the heart of Venezia! Turn right and you are in Piazza San Marco, turn left and you reach Ponte Rialto. We walked to all places of interest and took vaporetto to some islands in the area. We had views of the canal from our spacious top floor two bedroom apartment (not all apartments have this view, so you may need to confirm before booking), and we loved hearing the sounds of the city in the early morning. Later in the day, you have the front seat to watching multitudes of gondolas floating lazily through the canal. We liked the convenience of stopping by the apartment between activities for a nap or a quick refreshment. There’s an elevator in the building, but we liked taking the stairs for exercise. The apartment provides daily housekeeping and nespresso pods refills. Stovetop espresso pot is available if you provide the coffee. The WiFi is strong and reliable. Check-in was easy ( we arrived during the day); just fyi, I took a private water taxi from Marco Polo airport to the door of the residence, so no need to struggle with luggage. We received a lot of support ( recommendations, tips, directions etc)from the very kind staff present at reception during business hours. We definitely recommend Corte Grimani apartments.
