This is not our first time in Viareggio, but this is the first time we stay at the President Hotel, and this is a special pleasure)) The rooms are very beautiful. Excellent breakfast. The breakfast was excellent. Good selection catering for all tastes and you could have special dishes cooked freshly. We ate at the restaurant and it was a very good meal. Well cooked, generous portions and very well flavoured. A very good chef. The room (third floor) was comfortable and had good air conditioning. However, we first had a room higher up (5th floor) that was too hot but the staff quickly changed our room for us. There was no fuss and they couldn't have been more helpful. There was a bar which was open in the evenings.

Perhaps offer some other food during the day and put milk and tea in the room not just coffee and sugar.

Location of hotel is excellent being very close to the beach and the beach strip where all the action seemed to be. The breakfast was very well organized, had lots of choices and the staff welcoming and accommodating. Offer of 8E per day parking during stay pass great. A grocery store a walk away. Sea view with best sunsets. Great eateries all within walking distance.

Really nothing. Suggestions: Parking options not directly with hotel. And would be good if they had someone to park as easily drove around for 30 minutes trying to find street parking. Had to pay for beach chairs and umbrella which was fantastic…hotel should simply charge in hotel fee and guests would feel they had ‘free’ beach access and if guest didn’t use the voucher then the hotel would gain.

We had the best stay at Hotel President, the hotel is in a great location, a 15 minute walk from the train station and literally on the promenade across the road from the beach. Our room was lovely and spacious with a nice view. The hotel offers vouchers for Beach club Irene and Beach club Ameda. Breakfast is fabulous, huge selection and a large a la cart menu made freshly to order. Finally, the staff are very friendly and accommodating.

The only thing we can point out: we got a room which was next to the emergency exit and some staff room and apparently either the staff or some hotel guests were using there (my suspension the staff) and slapping the heavy doprs so hard and loud that we woke up several times in the night. It was really terribly irritating. It if was the staff, then for a hotel of such level I would instruct the staff to close the doors quietly after 22:00, put up a sign on a door or anything so that the guests don't wake up in the night scared. The sound is really terribly lound.

Room was a lovely size, very comfortable with a beautiful bathroom. Excellent breakfast and wonderful staff who were always friendly and helpful, especially the lovely gentleman who served in the bar in an evening. Great location opposite the main promenade and beaches and right in the middle so easy to go either way and access all shops, bars and restaurants. Hotel was very clean and the staff never stopped!

Fantastic location, always felt and looked clean. Good air conditioning and maid service everyday we stayed. Breakfast was very nice with a big selection of good food and beverages.

Room was old and dark. Certain rooms have been refurbished. Leak in the bathroom on our arrival meant we had to change rooms for 1 night and then back to the old room which meant packing/unpacking 3 times during our holiday.

The Hotel Presidente is located across the street from the beach and beach clubs. It's a great place to relax. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were large and clean. The hotel provided wonderful breakfast options and a fabulous bartender in the evenings.

The hotel was wonderful. It was very warm and humid during our stay. The beach clubs were nice, however, being from California, I did not find the water refreshing. Yes, I am a bit spoiled. If you are a blue, clear water type of person (Snorkel, SCUBA), these are not beaches for you. This has nothing to do with the Hotel President, which was wonderful.

Good value for money. Room was new, clean and comfortable. Had 2 balconies which was a surprise so the sea view room with balcony is definitely worth it for the price Its perfectly central, close to restaurants in the direction of the port and right beside the park Rooms very clean, staff very friendly and helpful They provide a great discount on the beach (10 euros per day for 2 chairs and a parasol). You will not get the seafront for this price but decent all the same. To upgrade to sunbeds its 5 euros per bed They can also give you a ticket for street parking at 8 euros per day which was excellent During corona time they offer a served breakfast buffet with brilliant filled croissants, ham, cheese, eggs, fresh pressed OJ and much more. They also lets you choose from the a la carte…eggs benedict, crepes, english breakfast……. Really good

I find it hard to fault anything about my stay there, i am not normally fussy, but will share my only 2 negatives The walk in shower was beautiful, but caused flooding too easily in the bathroom. There were plenty of towels in the bathroom though so no problem to dry it up afterwards The mattrass was a little hard for me, i have a bad back so by the 3rd night i had to take painkillers to sleep….but you cant please everybody with a mattrass as everybody likes something different, not the hotels fault

The location is fantastic, the staff are always friendly and the breakfast is great! The room is nice, the bed is a little stiff but I have found this to be the same in most Italian hotels.

Would have preferred that the hotel had some form of bike hire / gym facilities, for rainy days but it's not an absolute must ;-)
