ITS THE LAST STAION OF RED LINE FROM FUJIKAWAGUCHIKO (P01) TO NATURAL LIVING(P20), BEST LOCATION TO TRAVEL TO OISHI PARK, TO HAVE BETTER VIEW OF FUJI MOUNTAIN, PHOTO SHOOTING. I STAY A BIG ROOM FOR 4 FAMILY MEMBER, NOT SHARE ROOM.

IT WILL TAKE AT LEAST 40 MINUTES TO THE LAST STATION P20, SHARING MEN AND WOMEN TOILET JUST FINE FOR ME, DRYER MACHINE NOT WORKING SO WELL, YOU NEED TO TAKE 2 TIMES TO DRY YOUR CLOTHES. HAVE A SMALL SUPERMARKET NEAREST THE HOSTEL, BUT NO RESTAURANT. I EAT CUP MEE FOR MY BEREAKFAST AND DINNER.

The hostel is the other side of the lake. It's a great spot to see Mount Fuji in all its glory. When it's the evening, there are no tourists, so you literally feel like you're away from the hustle and bustle. The hostel is warm and cosy and the facilities are very clean. The pods are ok for a night or 2. You do get a pull down desk and a light, which was an added bonus. They also provide towels and bedding. And, for 100/200Y you can do your washing and drying. Oh and, they have shampoo/ Conditioner/ body wash! AND, downstairs is a games room with Mario Kart ;)

Nothing bad but might be helpful - the hostel does food till 9pm. It's nothing big so take some snacks from 7 Eleven at the next village along (stop 15). They have cooking facilities and a fridge. The Hostel is stop 20! Also, you need to order breakfast with them 3 days in advance if you didn't book it to be included. Lights go out at 10pm - this isn't a bad thing. It's in a quiet neighbourhood and adds to the cuteness of the place. There is a game rooms downstairs with 2 sofas that you can chill in.

we took bus from Tokyo and the drop off stop is 3min walk to this hostel. the room is spacious (compared with rooms in Tokyo), free parking lots are provided (5min walking from the hostel)

VERY BAD SOUNDPROOF (if you are noise sensitive/ consider nice sleep is important, do not choose this one). However, if you are easy to fall asleep, i think this one will be a good option as it‘s quite cheap.

It has a very good view of the Fuji mount. It’s very close to the terminal bus, so you just need to walk to get into the hostel. And also is the final stop so you don’t need to worry about the stops. Very near to the hostel you can find a beautiful garden, souvenir stores, restaurants, coffee shop and places to eat and enjoy. The personal is very kind and friendly The hostel looks like it’s new, it has a game room And they have bike rental service depending on the availability.

It is not close to the Fujikawaguchiko train terminal. But is easy to get there in a bus.

I liked how clean it was. I also liked how the beds were in pods, it made me feel like I had a good amount of privacy. There were also facilities to cook and lots of amenities given, such as towels and shampoo/soap etc

Honestly I couldn’t fault the property itself. The only thing I could think of is that the bike rental fee was a little expensive for the quality of the bikes. There was only the option to rent them for a full 24 hours, whereas we only wanted them for 3 hours. Then we hiked Mount Fuji, and by the time we came back down the 24 hour period had expired so we rented the bikes again. So we paid for 48 hours of bike rentals but only ended up using the bikes for around 5 hours.

We had a 2 bed room and it was huge in comparison to a lot of hotels in japan! I loved that! It was a really nice room and also the common area was really nice. It was really quite, I could sleep pretty well. Because there is not much around in the evenings you come in contact with other guests, this was really nice. The food you can order there is just heated and not selfmade. But it tastes well. You could also use a kitchen with everything you need.

The people who work there could´nt speak well english. But they know how to use a translation.

I only booked to make sure I had a place to rest during my trip. When I arrived, I was so surprised to see how nice the common spaces were, so clean and welcoming. Very comfortable experience. There was even a game room, bar, and hookah available. I just wish I researched more and knew that I could have ordered breakfast for very cheap ahead of time. The breakfast spread looked amazing though I did not order ahead of time so I couldn't enjoy it this time. The friend I went with plans to go to this hostel again when his family comes to visit. After climbing Fujisan, this hostel was a perfect place to just relax. Not to mention the entire area is absolutely beautiful. The hostel had pamphlets available as well with information on what you can do in the area. 10/10

I wish they told me about the breakfast situation when I checked in the night before. However, I'm not sure if that would have been early enough for them to prepare.

So clean, warm to come back to after a Winter day around the lake and what a perfect perfect location for seeing Mt Fuji. It is directly opposite 1min walk away to cross the road and you are in Oishi Park. After walking around the lake and seeing the other hotel options I would say this was the best location! Have a glass of wine and enjoy the location. They serve and excellent white wine too 👌 - Thank you for a perfect stay. www.area1photography.com

Nothing. It was perfect! - Thank you for all your efforts.

Great location re Mount Fuji viewing. Two mins from the hostel you are by the water looking at Fuji. I rented a bike from them and cycled around the lake. Good kitchen for cooking your own food, social place to meet other travellers, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms.

That they did not offer vegetarian options for dinner! Beware, all restaurants close around 4/5pm and there are no shops here. Do your shopping at a supermarket in Kawaguchi beforehand and cook at the hostel. I found out the hard way but was glad for the kitchen. There is a kobini but it’s not always open (whenever he feels like it the receptionist said).
