Check-in process was simple, and the receptionist was very friendly, even though there was a bit of a language barrier. The apartment was very secure as one needed to know the PIN to the room to be able to access it (No cards are given, hence checking out is a breeze). The room was clean, and you could take whatever toiletries you needed on a daily basis at the check in counter (located on level 2). WiFi was stable and reliable. The breakfast is included, and it is nothing short of fantastic!

There is a step up to access the washroom, and the nearest train station does not have escalators, hence one needs to carry their own luggage up the stairs.

A great breakfast to bootstrap a long day of exploring Kyoto. Very polite staff and very efficient check-in and check-out. Practical location in the city center. Good laundry machines. A great value for the price!

Just a few minor things. Staff had probably the lowest level of English among the various accommodations we had on our trip. We used a translator app and there were no issues, but it could have been even faster. The rooms, although perfectly clean and tidy, were probably the smallest among the various accommodations we had on our trip. But still, just as shown in the photos on the listing.

Great breakfast and excellent location, subway entrance right next door and walking distance to Kyoto station and 四条通り. This is a great hotel with very good price, considering its convenient location. The room is cozy and comfortable. I particularly like the big desk folding mirror, very convenient for women. The hotel also provides at front desk very good quality skin care products, like masks, lotion, bath salt, all-in-one gel, oil in serum etc.

Occasionally, WiFi was a bit slow but an ethernet cable is available behind the TV. It will be nice to offer some fruit at breakfast.

The breakfast buffet was a small range of simple, good food. Japanese options (natto, silken tofu, miso soup) as well as bread, jam, and butter available. The evening cocktail bar was also really nice. They also had bath and skincare products available for free (lotions, toner, sheet mask, etc.). I asked for help to book a taxi one time and they were able to do this for me and explain everything clearly.

Amazing stay in Kyoto - best accommodation during our Japan trip!!! Room is comfortable and clean - no view though but this didn’t bother us as we were out most of the day. The staff were so amazing and caring and breakfast did have great selection. Drinks in the evening were a bonus. Hotel is next door to subway line and about 10-15min walk to the main station. There are shops and restaurants on the way. We would definitely stay here again.

The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast included a variety of typical Japanese offerings (e.g., fish, miso soup, natto, rice) as well as salad and 4-5 different pastries; there was also plenty to choose from in terms of beverages. The location is also good: within walking distance of Kyoto Station and a minute from a subway station.

The hotel provide facial mask sheet and all the body hair treatment stuffs also sleeping clothes

The toilet and bath very narrow to each other small space, the breakfast items very limited and only for two hours, they didn't fill up the food all the time, two plates for bread 4 plates for hot dishes...

Incredibly friendly and kind staff, delicious breakfast & very good location (about 10 min walk to Kyoto Main Station, Subway/bus stops right around the corner). Rooms are pretty small for western standards, but then hey, it's Japan, right? Absolutely recommended!

Location is the best as Subway Station and Bus Stop just below Hotel. Breakfast was good too. Nearby markets and some tourist attractions.

The room is small, but for 2 people, but rest facilities are very good.

there was scratches on the lower part of the room’s wall and the bathroom was a bit small, but for less then 70$ CAD it is totally worth it. Breakfast included!!
