The hotel is located near Karuizawa Station, just a few minutes' walk to Prince Outlet and Old Ginza town. Staff are helpful and accommodating. Rooms are bigger than usual, clean and quiet. They have a free coffee available at the lobby, perfect during winter.

parking is full and need to pay fees for public parking. But fees is not expensive, only 600 yen for 24 hours and walk a short distance.

Functional compact room handy to the train station. Arrived at train station at 5.10pm and after check-in got a reasonable length sleep, shower and change of clothes checking out around 9am to put my bags in a locker at the train station. For those without a vehicle, consider the Karuizawa free pass. Please note that the Red Metro bus is unable to take passengers when the road is wet to Usui Observation Platform. All the other buses were running in the wet and I highly recommend Shirato Falls and Harunire Terrace where I had a terrific Indian meal.

My stay at this hotel was very brief. It was unfortunate for me that I was not aware that staying on a Saturday is twice the price of other evenings. In reviewing the cost, I note that Karuizawa is across all accommodations more expensive than Nikko my previous stop or Nagano my next stop. It is a very popular getaway for people from Tokyo. I would say that you can't get a better price in Karuizawa. Is it value for money? No. The rate is aligned to the local market.

The room is large and comfortable .

The hotel is too strict and force to upgrade to double room when they see 2 person where the room i book is sufficient for 2 person to stay in a single room. Do not have any convenience store nearby the hotel. Only 1 restaurant nearby is open at night and dinner is either dine in hotel or walk to that BBQ restaurant. Suggest to have a convenience store for the traveler to purchase foods too instead of existing 2 drinking vending machine.

Not directly connected to the station but still the best location you can get. The room is small as always, but the high ceiling in my room helped. Expect the sound of trains passing if your room is facing the railway, not a problem for me but some people might want to bring their earplugs. It amazingly has the thickest toilet paper during my entire trip, the last thing I would expect from APA but definitely a nice surprise.

Still a bit of a distance to walk from the hotel to the station, especially with luggage in the cold.

Almost everything. Love that I can leave my bags over instead of early checking in. The room is exceptionally good as for such value. Not a new hotel, but it's truly good, just so convenient as its location and facilities and all the vanity all you need as you're travelling.

Little unsure the use of the heating or conditioning as it in full Japanese no indicator.

We really like the staff at the hotel counter, she was very polite and helpful by giving us details of information about the location, and tourist information. The transportation is very convenient as we could catch the bus to the tourist spot. Overall , we like the hotel, location, the room and transportation over there.

The location is great and very easy to find. Very close to the train station and have the service to keep the luggage.

the breakfast is not many food choice the grandma staff need to improve the service, always tidy the food/dishes, I still choose the food right now, cannot feel comfort And the price is expensive as the choice with environment.

The bed was very comfortable. The hotel is on the other side of the ski area, but near to the station and the bus terminal, which is great. 7-11 is close by, just a few minutes walk. Bought my meals mostly from there, as the surrounding eateries are on the high side.

Only 2 bottles of mineral water was provided for the first day of the 3-day stay.
