This hotel has everything you needed! Location, food, onsen and space! Location: right at the heart of China town so you get access to the restaurants and cafe for quick grabs. Also close to subway station so the accessibility was easy. Food: free yogurt drinks, ramen and popsicles!!! Really cannot beat that. The breakfast was 2300yen ish per person but the selection was amazing! Onsen: omg - the space of the onsen is comparable to ryokan. Has a huge outdoor onsen space and lots of selection on shampoo and conditioners. Space: we got a room that was big enough to accommodate our family of 5 - three beds and still have space to open luggages. Lastest- the washer and dryer for the laundry was great. Drying coated 100yen for 20min but the machine was so efficient that it dries in one go!

I think towels should be provided right at the onsen! Bringing my towel up and requesting from the front desk was some effort and caused some inconvenience. I feel the PJ provided was rough - it would be nice if it’s a robe like pj.

The location is great. Its right next to Chinatown and a short walk to the harbour front. The metro is also really near. Breakfast is one of the best, Japanese style and everyone must try the ramen for supper, it is great

We accidentally booked a 3 person room for 4 person. Instead of telling us to pay for the additional person, the hotel staff bring us to view the room and beds "that can fit 5 person" and then tell us we have to pay additional. We wasted a lot of time just on this issue. This could be a language issue and I may not have understand the culture

The Dormy Inn chain sets a high bar, with free nighttime ramen, free evening frozen ice cream, free massage chairs, and an onsen that is well maintained and relaxing! The staff also go above and beyond; I was walking outside and a staff chased me down to offer me their hotel umbrella due to forecasted rain. My stay also came with a beverage ticket for each night for the cafe downstairs. Like other Dormy Inns, towel exchange at the front desk is not a hassle and expected.

The massage chairs were a downgrade to other Dormy Inns that I stayed in (This one was missing the arm squeezing feature and visor). WiFi was slower than I'm accustomed to. The vending machine ran out of stock of an item I wanted during my stay.

The location is good, right next to Chinatown. Close to Kobe Tower. City public bus around the city in about an hour to most tourist sites for only YEN 260. The bus route will show you both old and modern looks of Kobe. Parking around was pretty expensive here. Subway maybe better. Motomachi train station is only about 5 minutes walk. Only few stops to Arima Onsen. Onsen is always good with Dormy. This one has 2 massage chairs free to use. Each turn is 10 minutes. Perfect timing. Free laundry machines with pre-installed detergents. Only YEN 100 drying per 20 min. Most stores around don't open early around. Buffet breakfast in hotel was great, worth the cost. Tiny dishes presented so you wouldn't waste foods if you don't like. But I like most. Fresh eggs fried if requested. We had both mornings buffet here. The room we booked was good size. You can ask for more and better pillows from front desk if the ones in the room are too thin. Great services.

We left Osaka to Kobe early to avoid traffic. We got to Kobe around 9am, thinking to catch up with the short ride on the Hello Kitty Shinkansen. Didn't realize if you park earlier than check in time, they charged Yen 200 per 30 minutes, where Yen 2,300 per night. So, we have to pay Yen 2,400 extra on early parking. For second night stay after returning from Arima stay, there was a dirty spot found and opened candy's wrap hidden on top of sofa bed. Other than these, all good.

Location next to Chinatown. It is also walkable to most of the popular destinations around Kobe. Natural hot spring is incredible. You have a sauna, cold bath and outdoor bath which is a must try in Japan. Massage chair, manga library and drinks corner is great after a hot bath. A convenient money changer and charge IC card machine is great for those who need cash or IC.

Cannot think of anything. Maybe having some translation device available for use as some facilities of the restaurant may not have English speaking staff?

It was great to have the onsen to relax and refresh at after a day out sight-seeing. It was near the train station, shopping, and the resertraunt downstairs was great. It is secure with use of your room card on the elevator and the codes provided fir the baths. We made use if the laundry facillities, as well as the complimentary coffee and ice cream bars. They have a great vending machine and library.

At check in they had some computer issues. But other than a slight delay it was fine. The staff worked as quickly as they could under the circumstances.

Fabulous location - walking distance to Mosaic, Meriden Park, atoa, museums, and both Motomachi and Sannomiya stations and shopping districts! Plus so many extras — an onsen on the top floor with free ice cream and probiotic drinks afterwards, free coffee, free drink tickets. And excellent staff - courteous, thoughtful, and very helpful!

The room felt a little tight for two people, but given the value for price, it was totally fine.

This hotel exceeded my expectations! I loved everything: location, facilities, amazing onsen with open rooftop and the room, although it was not very big. The hotel offered a lot of free stuff: 3 complimentary drinks of my choice as a welcome gift ( 1 per day), yoghurt in the morning and noodle soup in the evening. In the onsen itself there is a various collections of shampoo and conditioners so you can choose what you like.

Booking.com guaranty price booked with you will not be higher than other , but it is higher so much ?? The different is a lot , how to contact booking.com customer service ? We want to feedback & complaint. I like Dormy inn because of the hot spring is good.

Immaculate and very comfy beds. A simple but clean room and a fabulous spring water onsen. A really great value close to much! Laundry services available here and probably the best shower I’ve ever had in a hotel.

They are strict here about NO TATTOOS in the Hotsprings, so unfortunately due to a choice I made a long time ago at 18, I couldnt soak here! So I was standing on the outside looking in, but my daughter enjoyed it!
