A place I definitely want to keep a secret. It's so difficult to find a property in Japan for a solo traveler on a budget. It was the most comfortable accommodation I had during my entire trip. Everything was so convenient—the location, access to food, free use of washer and drinking water. I also met a lovely and kind woman from a nearby pharmacy when I was feeling unwell. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Osaka.

The place was extremely quiet so book here if you want to avoid any noise at night. Our room was spacious for Japan and very comfortable, it was nice to have the bunk beds for our own personal spaces. The brightest spot was the owners recommendations. On our first night we really wanted to try some sushi so we asked him if he knew any places. He sent us to the best sushi place all 3 of us had ever been to, it was fantastic. He also recommended us another restaurant which was lovely. He was also very nice and accommodating, thank you so much!

There is a lot of space to socialize but it doesn’t seem like the clientele are very social, which is fine but would’ve added to the experience to meet other travellers.

Very convenient between KIX and Umeda. Perfect for those arriving after a long flight and wanting a pitstop before continuing their journey on the Shinkansen from Shin-Osaka. It’s nearby to a Nankai railway station Kishinosato-Tamade (great for Kansai International Airport connection) and also a short walk to Osaka Metro station Tamade (east to travel to Shin Osaka with one across the platform change at Daikokucho). Beside the metro station are 24 hours convenience stores and food outlets. The service at the hotel is very friendly and it was a perfect check-in following good communication about time of arrival. This place is great for those wanting to come and go and do their own thing.

Looks exactly like pictures, staff was easy to message and helpful, there was a guide book made and he let us know if we wanted to reserve anywhere he could help us. Kind. Bunk beds were comfortable and there was a little shelf area for each bed giving us more space. It is small but with 2 large suitcases we made it work. If you are on the taller/larger size the bathroom/shower stall might be tight, I am 155cm and sitting on the toilet my knees almost touched the door. There is an additional bathroom in lobby that is more spacious.

Good price, the owner was really nice and it was easy to check-in/out. I could do laundry for free which was really nice. I appreciate the quiet place. Close to convenient stores and a train station (for those who use Google maps, be aware of the name written in Japanese). As it is a bit far from the center, you will eventually need to use the subway. Check the one-day pass that can be worth it (on weekends especially) !

A drying rack would definitely be a plus, as most of my clothes were not suitable for drying machine so I had to be creative. No hot water coming from the water dispenser, but there is a microwave available.

The room, the toilet, the common area are very clean. The owner waited at the appointed time for check in and even help store our luggages after check out for free 😍 Communication with owner is through messaging or email in Booking.com. Our room is on the ground floor which is appreciated since our luggages are heavy. Not a very big room. Rooms are on ground, first and second floor (no elevator). The washer/dryer is on the top floor and can be used for free (detergent provided). Nice rooftop area. Quiet time at certain hours, we didn't hear noise from other rooms during our stay. Love the fact that the location is along a roofed street and so close to KishinosatoTamade station. A few convenient stores but don't expect a shopping mall or something here. Thank you Booking.com. Clean and basic hostel in the suburbs of Osaka. We love this neighborhood. The hostel is conveniently located between two train/subway lines, with great food (local izakaya) around. The host is welcoming and recommended a delicious dinner in the neighborhood on our first night in Osaka. Beds are comfortable and amenities are provided. We value the drinking water dispenser at the hostel to refill our bottles. Saved us from buying individual bottles of water.

There is nothing that we didn’t like. Our room is small, but we didn’t mind that as we were out most of the day. No complaints from our end during the stay.

Hostel rates for basically hotel experience- own room, private bathroom, fresh towels. Owner was nice and friendly- allowed me to forward luggage to hostel and have it stored at no extra cost, location was great- station and laundromat minutes away, supermarket open 24/7 just down the road and Lawson round the road too. Perfect if you just want a room to yourself to relax and chill! Will definitely stay again!

location is great near to two different lines of train station. Plenty of shops near by and the hostel had everything you could need water machine, hairdryer. Roof top was lovely addition. Staff was fast response when messaging.

The room was small but this was made clear to us when we checked in, however the space could work better if the bed was elevated to be able to store the suitcases underneath. As two suitcases and two people was snug. Or maybe a few shelf’s. But this didn’t effect our stay again the staff great by putting suitcase in locked room for us.

I’m asian so the size is pretty goof for me. I was there for 1 day trip for Osaka/Nara and brought back pack so i dont have issue on unpack my stuff, but if i were to bring suitcases, it would cause some space issue. Would recommend everyone who stay bring suitcases that have openings on the side for easy access. Owner was super helpful, he even made map for food nearby. I went to eat dinner based on his map, turned out quite good
