This place was great! It was right next to a metro station, very clean, cheap, the beds are actually comfortable (which is kind of rare in Japan), and the staff were incredibly kind and made my stay in Osaka super fun!

Super clean and comfortable and incredibly friendly helpful staff at reception. I stayed for four nights. Super modern well-presented decor throughout the hotel and guest room. Very well positioned only steps from the front door to the subway entrance and Lawson is a few doors from the hotel. Great value for money supermarket across the road and a local shopping street a block away. Close to everything yet a pleasant escape away from the hustle of the city only 5 minutes away by Subway. A special mention must go to Tanoue on the desk, she was super helpful and pleasant to deal with, no request or enquiry was a problem. When I'm back in Osaka I'll be staying at R-Hotel Namba South again 😀

Comfy beds Good value Location close to subway station Clean One of the best breakfast, dont be confused by reviews. You have 3 options and every breakfast dish is soo delicious. plus you have some sides from buffet and free juice, coffee and tea. Nice staff

There is one "but" with this hotel, otherwise it will be 10/10. But the noise... Window is unable to isolate noice from street. You can expect loud night sirens from ambulances and the loud sounds of motorbikes, which are obviously doing night-time races. Room door is not good as well. If you have bad luck for neigbours, you can hear chatting in hall like they were inside your room. It's a shame about these problems, because otherwise it would be an absolutely perfect hotel. Maybe you will be lucky. We slept here for 3 nights and one was ok.

The staff are very friendly and helpful! I lost my keys to my luggage and the staff helped me to cut open the padlock which was a big relief! Thank you to the reception staff and to the kind gentlemen who helped us 🙏🏼. The hotel is also conveniently located near supermarkets, convenience stores and the train station. We stayed for 6 days at the hotel and the housekeeping staff did an excellent job when we requested for the room to be cleaned. Fresh towels and toiletries were provided by the hotel daily.

The room is small in size but that's common in most hotels in Japan.

The location: amazing + Convenience store next door (opens 24 hours) + McDonalds next door (open 24 hours) + Metro station in front (direct access to Nishi-Umeda where you can enter Osaka station right away) The staff: wonderful + Extremely helpful (to my questions, and also when I needed a power plug converter, they kindly lend me one immediately) + Incredibly friendly (full of smiles, they wish me "have a nice day" or "have a nice trip" when I go out, they greet "good morning/afternoon" when I enter, they also wish me "have a nice meal" when they see me bringing in some food) Bonus: when I could not take out money from the ATM, one of them (maybe the owner/manager/a customer/not sure because he was wearing a casual clothes and a backpack) was kind enough to take my EUR and exchanged it to JPY. Saved my day because I was in rush to take the metro. The facilities: awesome + The wifi is great (I work remotely from here and I never had any problems with video calls in any time) + Really clean (like, really really clean. The color combination and furniture are brining peace to my mind haha) + Toothbrush, bath robe, bath mat, coffee, tea, and some others are provided on the ground floor so it's easy to pick up by myself (no need to request to the staff) + The double room has everything I need (no complaints) and personally, I like the interior design Summary: if I can give it a 6 stars or a 12/10 score, I would.

I recently stayed at R hotel namba south and had a fantastic experience. The location was perfect, situated conveniently close to major attractions yet in a peaceful area. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. My room was spacious, clean, and elegantly decorated, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals, and the breakfast buffet was a great start to each day. Additionally, the hotel was well-maintained and offered a nice way to unwind. Overall, R hotel namba south exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area and look forward to staying here again in the future.

Great location, subway in front of the hotel (exit4with elevator) and 10mn walk to JR or ~15mn to Shinsekai. Nearby Family mart and 24hrs giant local grocery. We stayed 9days and got upgraded from double bed room type to twin rooms since the staff suggested it’s bigger room+more comfortable for long stay (free of charge) All staffs were helpful and spoke great English. Affordable price with high standards. Highly recommend

There is a metro station Hanazonocho just outside the hotel. Hotel looks modern and new, with well-decorated and soothing interiors. Hotel is within walking distance of Tengachaya station of the Nankai line, useful for going to Kansai airport. Two large supermarkets nearby and many small restaurants. Staff were friendly and professional. Room was small but comfortable to sleep in; room exceeded expectations based in the room rate I paid. Coffee, tea and electric kettle in room. Toilet was small and warm in winter, with reliable hot water and the toilet was not freezing cold. Various soaps and hair conditioner was provided.

Room carpet gave off a smell, but this is not a major annoyance for me. The table lamp in my room was not working.

Staffs are super friendly and fluent in English, we arrived at noon before check in time to leave our bags but the staff was so kind and let us check in. The room was a bit small but we had no issue opening our luggages The hotel was right in front of subway station, it’s very convenient if you travel by train but the neighborhood was a bit dark and quiet at night though
