Good shower and bath availability, good location. Was able to request a higher floor and had a good view of the area from 6F. Helpful staff

Had to pay 1000Y key deposit in cash. Was asked for my credit card (which is normal to confirm booking in US but haven't been asked for it anywhere else in JP, so I need to see if I was double billed.)

This hotel is in a “bad neighborhood” but cheap and convenient. The price was great and exceeded my expectations.

Shower and bathing can only be done at certain times on the first floor. Also rooms don’t have private bathrooms.

If you are not afraid to live few days between super cute poor people in Osaka this place is for you! The room was clean and fine, comfy Japanese mattress, perfect fridge and Aircon plus a tv set. The area is poor but safe and it's a great experience cause it's really unique. Nice shrines, conbinies in walking distance. If you thinking long trips inside Osaka you can reach well connected metro and train stations within 500m. An own room is five times better than any bunk bed place...

The price. The cheapest rate for a room with share bathroom in Osaka. Lift/Elevator. Hot Jacuzzi public bathroom for max 6 people’s. Ask 2 common bathroom at ground floor. Toilet at every floor. Drinking water dispenser at every floor. In room, tv, small fridge and air conditioner/heater. The hotel located opposite police station and supermarket just 50-60m away with many restaurants, convenience store and 150m from shin inmamiya train station.

No towel provided. No kitchen. No toothbrush/paste provided. But for the rate they charge, it doesn’t matter.

The room may not seem huge (and it is not), but it is very functional and fits perfectly everything. There is a space where you can open your luggage, a space where you can leave your shoes, a table where to eat and work with your computer (Wi-Fi was good), big window with natural light, hangers, tv (which I did not use) and a small fridge. The place has a small yet nice sento, the only pity was the opening hours because you are visiting out and about the whole day so in the evening it is the most useful moment.

The tatami floor with futon bed may not be for everyone. I personally wanted to try this Japanese futon on a tatami and I have no regrets (therefore this score), but I must admit that is not as comfortable as a bed. My back was aching, though I was satisfied that I tried, so it is up to those who wants to try. Just be aware of what it is. At the reception there is a beautiful cat, but I have to mention it here merely in case you are allergic (if you are not, just known that that cat is lovely). The neighbourhood is know in town for being a bad place, but I would say that it was safe, just a poor district with some homeless people, which are very rare in Japan so for their standards that area is a bad one.

I enjoyed my stay at hotel wako. nothing to complain about . - this hotel is good option for solo traveler, who want a private room. best price for privacy. - the ladies toilet and shower room is clean and nicely neat. - room comes with mini fridge, ac, tv, mini table, mattress, comforter , and a window -the location is just under 10 minutes walk to jr shin-imamiya station. safe to walk alone. - the staffs are polite too. thank you hotel wako

The staff are amazing. The bath is out right now but they gave me tickets to irifune onsen and it was a great experience. The room had adequate space shelving and hangers for clothes.

The bathroom had squat toilets and some people didn't know how to aim very well 😞

Enjoyed my stay. Really great value. Good location, metro is near by. Nice staff, also there's someone in reception all the time. Ladies toilets was clean, the bed was comfy. There's vending machines inside

The price and the location are really nice! , The room was big enough even for someone who usually is over 1.90m , television, a personal fridge, ac and Internet really a good value/price proposition

The building it's old and the bathroom for male it's always open so a bit uncomfortable but that's ok

The traditional single room with tatami and futon. Window with a view for smoking room. Worth for money. Better than the one with bed
