Location is accessible - it is near train station, restaurants and convenient stores. There is a water dispenser at the ground floor. They facilitated and received our luggages transferred from Tokyo.

Room size is not as spacious as compared to where we stayed in Tokyo.

Basic ibis accommodation. Friendly staff, extremely good location in Umeda district with underground connection to metro and train stations. Tons and tons food options nearby, including plethora of restaurants in the subterranean Whity mall where you can get to right from the hotel basement passage. Rooms is according to description. It's basic and small, but most of ordinary hotels in Japan have small rooms. So it's not a minus but a reality. Breakfast in the adjacent restaurant is OK. Basic but convenient. Staff there is also friendly. Shower is nice. Good water pressure and temperature easy to regulate. We stayed for more than a week and it served the purpose of recuperating after long walks.

Like most of hotels in the world - too few hooks or rails to even put all towels. I will never understand why hotels don't just add more hooks around. Even if there is no space for shelves or wardrobe - hooks would be an easy solution for small spaces.

LOCATION - we loved everything about this hotel, its was in the middle of everything, shops, eating, and trains, take the lift down the ground floor to the whity and its massive selection of eating and coffee places its like 2 mins in the underground to the metro system to Osaka metro and umeda-osaka you can get trains from both places, short ride to universal studios or Dotonbori If you don't go underground there is just as much in the streets for entertainment and eating The Ibis was comfortable and clean, i would stay here in again no issues

The breakfast was not what we thought was over good for the price, i would not get the breakfast and just head down the lift and go to any numerous cafes or starbuks or the pancakes place under the hotel or the other pancake place across the other side of the intersection

Location is right in the heart of the entertainment and shopping precinct, so expect bright lights and plenty of activity throughout the afternoon and night. Osaka has a fabulous vibe, a little more low key and relaxed than Tokyo, and the accommodation is a great spot for a multitude of food and shopping options, and only a short walk from the train station and bus routes. Staff were very friendly and spoke English well.

Room space is tight as you would expect. We chose a king, which ended up being two king singles joined together, probably would have been better to request a queen and have a bit more floor space. Still if you're only staying a night or two, then it's just fine as you'll likely be out and about most of the time.

A great location. We were able to walk and explore the area with ease. It was in close proximity to the train station, which meant that it was easy to travel to the different places that we were visiting like Universal Studios. The room had everything that we needed for our stay. The hotel was able to hold on to our bags as we arrived early morning and check-in wasn't until 3. This meant we could head out and make the most of our time in Osaka. I happened to leave something behind that was precious to me and they were able to locate it and then take the time and effort to get it back to me when I was already back home. I will be forever thankful for that!!

Room size was pretty good for big city Japan, very clean and efficient in housekeeping and the overall running of the hotel.

There is quite a bit of noise off the street which can be loud at night. The location of this hotel is incredibly convenient from the underground but instructions on how to utilise the direct access is probably not so great so this could be an improvement. Give precise instructions on following the relevant train line and then the East Mall and then the retail outlets around it like 3 Coins would have been more helpful to successfully negotiate this on first arrival. GPS Maps don’t work so well underground!

Staff were very nice, great location with an elevator right down into the station, really convenient! Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Great value for the money paid!

I wouldn’t say I didn’t like it but I think it could be good if you had a YouTube/Netflix or streaming service platform on the TVs. I also think the mini fridges didn’t keep my beverages/food very cold - not sure if there is a setting to increase coldness.

location near everything i.e. food, train station (it has lift directly connect to the station) , convenience stores. location a bit difficult to find if you come from train since the Whity Umeda is quite huge. Maybe the Hotel/booking.com can provide information that the customer can locate the Whity for East Mall then gate 772 easier to find if there is specific information

just expect to have bottled water first day check in...and there is only a very small trash can. others are okay for us

Great location within walking distance of Osaka Umeda, took only a couple of stops to reach after getting the bullet train from Tokyo and was easy to get to Kyoto afterwards. Close to shopping centres and restaurants, right next to the Hep5 Ferris Wheel. Easy transport links to Dontoburi etc. Room was very clean and spacious and cleaned every day. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Powerful hot shower. Wifi was strong - could even access it from across the street. Great base for exploring Osaka and rooms were of a higher standard than I'd typically expect from an IBIS hotel, and decor looks new and modern.

Some tv channels in English other than the news would benefit international visitors.
