This was by far one of the most comfortable stays during my time in Tokyo. The bed I slept on was one of the BEST nights of rest. The tub in the bathroom was great for a soak after sightseeing. The aircon/heater was perfect. However, I didn't use the fridge or other items. It was available. The staff was great and was able to answer any questions and provide recommendations. The staff speak basic English. I wish I stayed longer but if this property is available again, I will try to stay here for a longer stay.
The room was a little small but I was happy. The bathroom was a little cold. But nothing negative.

The staff were absolutely lovely!! We loved the location! It’s off an alley rather than a Main Street, so even on a Friday night, it was quiet! Short walk to a train the takes you right to Shibuya. It was easy to get to Tokyo Station. Coming from the airport wasn’t bad at all! So close to Senso-ji Temple and there’s another shrine even closer that is very cute. The room itself is modest, but so is the price and I felt like we got a fantastic value. The beds were comfortable, nice Japanese toilet, spacious shower and bath area (I’m used to a stand up stall shower). I love they have a foldable table in the room if you want to have a snack or use your electronic devices.
We enjoyed the property. Only concern would have been if our flight was delayed, you can’t check in past 22:00. Good news is the unit is very affordable, so for us it would have been fine to eat it. Our flight arrived at 15:00 and thankfully no delays, so it was absolutely perfect 👌

Excellent location, it was close to day and night activities, the subway, and shops. Traditional feel with tatami mats and futon on the floor. Room was kept very clean. Staff spoke good enough English to help. Air conditioning was a lifesaver. This room was really incredible value for Tokyo, would stay again in a heartbeat. Recommended for budget conscious travelers who are looking for a taste of something a little bit different from typical hotel experience, with a toe dipped into the traditional.
The ceiling of the room looks pretty drab, and my room did not have any type of view. Room is quite small. Bed is softer than I other. Rooftop smoking area only open from 8am to 11pm (although there is an ashtray at the front of the hotel open all the time if need be). None of these are deal breakers though.

The owner of this Ryokan was so approachable and super friendly, he was just great, I really liked him. Anyway apart that the location of the property was spot on, close to Sensō-ji and also close to 2 subway lines for super convience to get me anywhere within the city.
I don't really want to complain about the place because the owner as I have said was so nice, but if I have to mark something down, then I would say that the walls were far to thin, and you can here everything, if you know what I mean, which made for quite an uncomfortable night.

The location was basically perfect for me. Not immediately at a big road (so nice and quiet). Senso-ji is very nearby to the east and in the west there is some residential areas which I found soothing and atmospheric to walk through. Train stations are very close (especially the connection to Akihabara is very good). Convenience stores, supermarkets and other stores are also close. The room itself is relatively big although not necessarily anything special. It's a place where you can relax after a day of exploring, but not something for you if you plan to spend a lot of time there (small TV with 3(?) channels and a table). Considering the location and room size the price is great.

A simple and clean hotel. We valued the awesome location as well as the price. Comfort wise, though it does take some adjusting to the futons and laying them out, we slept very comfortably and it was something we wanted to experience. There was acloset space to hang clothes and store luggage, and thankfully most of it fit! The owners had limited english but were very kind and accomodating. We would likely repeat our stay here!
Small size, so we had to shuffle a bit in the room since we had quite a lot of luggage. This was a bit of an issue throughout our entire trip in Japan, but these rooms were particularly small.

This was a great place to stay! Asakusa was nice and quiet compared to other parts of Tokyo, but the Ryokan was still conveniently located near the train station, 24 hour don quixote, and lots of convenience stores and restaurants. The room was clean, had good air-conditioning and a window, wifi, a shower room and a bathroom, and plenty of storage space for large suitcases. The owner was kind and helpful, always happy to answer our questions. Amazing value and everything was just as described.
We liked everything! The only thing to note is that the room is not soundproof so you do need to be mindful of your noise, which I think is quite normal for most ryokan.

This very small inn is close to the asakusa train station and the famous asakusa buddhist temple which is less than 1 km to the east. The air conditioning in the small room worked really well (better than the 4-star hotel which I am staying in now that costs 5 times as much). This location is just one train ride from Haneda station (no transfers) and took around half an hour. The tatami matt flooring and bathroom & separate toilet was very clean. The mattress lying on the ground was very comfortable. The wifi had a strong signal and was fast (again much better than what I am staying in now). Ueno station is only 1.3 km west, and high speed shinkansen trains leave from there. The owner/operator was very polite and could explain things to me in English.
The room with the toilet was extremely small, as well as the tiny sink next to it. The windows opened into the lobby of the building next door.

The location is just a step away from the tourist attraction. The room was small yet comfortable with complete amenities. Name it, they have it. The staff although doesn't speak English, they use translator app, thus still possible to have communication. They also very nice and helpful. What I love the most was their tatami haha..
Not recommend for those people who only transit with lots of luggages or big luggage. The location near the tourist spot but the station attached to haneda or narita airport need a lot of your effort.

The owner is so kind. The room exceeds my expectations. Everything has it’s own place which shows thoughtfulness that went into making the room comfortable for guests. There are allocated places for shoes, luggage and umbrellas etc. It suits someone very particular like me very well. I appreciate that very much. The bed was so comfortable. The memory foam pillow is marvellous. Everything was provided with care, the towels and the yukata are the softest I’ve ever used.
