The size of the room is bigger for 2 person compared to other hotels I've stayed in Japan. There is a space for you to sit and rest before going to bed. With complete amenities like small refrigerator, electric kettle, coffee cup (though too small), glass for water and the supply of centralized microwave oven to heat your food from the outside. The front desk personnel are all accommodating and are friendly and helpful.

There is no compulsory everyday cleaning of the room. You will need to make a request for cleaning. The form for this is provided inside the room. The laundry area has only 1 unit for washing and 1 unit for drying that is why it takes you so long to finish your laundry. I think the hotel should provide additional units for their laundry services.

The hotel is a little run down but the room I stayed in was the biggest I've had in Tokyo. It's been my fourth time there, the staff is great and real helpful, conveniently located 5 minutes by foot from the Yamanote Line. You're not going to meet many western tourists up here. All in all I recommend the place and will stay there again next time. If you want a super clean facility you'd have to go choose a newer one though. And as always in Japan, speaking a little Japanese will always open doors...

The room was very clean and the staff were helpful. We managed to use Google Translate to communicate with all of them. One staff does have good conversational English. It was quiet despite it was close to the train line.

The sofa was torn and it needed replacing. The coffee table took up a lot of the room in a small space. The kitchenette took up valuable space (we put our suitcases in there). The room layout was strange. It would be better to have small table, chairs, shelves and hooks instead of 2-seater sofa and coffee table. Saying that, we could open a medium suitcase, one at a time.

Very good location close to the Yamanote Line and good amenities for the price. You occassionally hear some of the trains as they are passing by in front of the hotel, but it is nothing that woke us up during night. Check in and out is contactless and hassle free. The breakfast was great with a different composition every day (including one fish, one chicken, two vegan, one egg and one vegetarian dish plus toppings, rice and sauces and bread, butter and jam as well as coffee, tea and orange juice.

Not the newest building, but all in all very good

The room was not on the side of the trains and the window was well isolated, therefore it was really dark and quiet during the night for Japanese standards. There is a machine for check-in which worked well, although for some reason there was a problem during check-out, which nevertheless could be solved quickly by the staff. Of course the place is nothing special, but there is little I could complain about the room.

Unfortunately the wifi did not work when I arrived there. Maybe there were to many people connected, because later on in the evening it worked well.

I stayed here because it was close to Akihabara and my friends house. The place is mostly love hotels, so its really quiet. You can walk down beside the trainline with just the sound of the occasional train running down Tokyo's Yamanote line which takes you to a lot of Tokyo's popular areas. Its also easy to find and walk to from the train station. There's a good size comfortable room and the bathroom is also big for Japan. I also opted for the breakfast and I was happy with it also. I'd stay here again if I wanted to be around this location.

I don't really have any complaints I can think of. The place is what it is and not expensive for a hotel in Tokyo. The only begative would be if you were somehow offended by love hotels. I think there might be a little bit of stigma attached but personally, that was what made the place nice and quiet. People have complained about train noises and I could see how you might get it if you were on that side, I wasn't, so didn't hear them.

The room we got was very spacious which is so rare in Japan. We actually had a sitting area with a couch in front of the TV. The bed was comfortable. The toilet and bathing area are separate rooms. There is a desk for working. The location is quite good and not too far a walk from the stations. It is actually in the middle of 2 stations. We loved to walk and we could walk to Ueno Park and see some interesting places on the way. The staff is excellent. The guy who could not speak English had a gadget translating to communicate with us. We could leave our luggage after check out.

The look and facilities are a bit old. For example, there is no central light/electric switch so we have to off and on one by one. There is nothing around the hotel, just residential and other hotels but nearer to the stations there are shops and restaurants. You have to collect some of the amenities on your own from the lobby. None of this bothered us. The cleaner did not understand the instructions to not change the towels and to clean the things in the room.

Check-in was fast! Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean when I got in. Location is really good for me since it was just a few minutes away from Uguisudani station. There were so many restaurants around that you can try out. The 24-hour Matsuya, a favorite go-to place for me is also near the hotel. If you like a bit of exercise, you can walk your way to Ueno Park. More delicious food there as well. The hotel also provides a lot of your daily needs like shampoo, face wash, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc. Very nice. It was my second time in Cerezo and I would love to stay here again when I return.

None. All good!

Our room was very comfortable and a very convenient location, just a short walk from a JR train station. The breakfast each morning was slightly different and included enough vegetarian options for my veg husband to be satisfied, which hasn't always been the case in our experience throughout Japan. When we enquired as to whether one of the dishes included meat or seafood the staff member in the kitchen brought out a book that had each meal that was prepared and what the ingredients were, which was very helpful. There was always one meat and one fish option also.

I appreciated all the aspects of the room: the layout, bathroom, and sitting area. Breakfast: the room was easy to find, signing in was a breeze, food was served buffet style, and putting away dishes was well organized and labeled.

The pillows were stiff and dense, making it difficult for me to sleep. The underside of the pillows had rows of what felt like bags of grain or a bean bag. I've never experienced pillows like that before, but maybe they're more common than I think.
