I loved the onsen and the breakfast was incredible. I am a 60-year-old woman from US traveling alone. The room was small but it did not bother me as I was hardly in the room. I loved going to the hot tub at the end of the day after walking a lot. The best part was the metro which was right next door. I stayed at other dormy hotels after liking this one. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay there again.

The sorrounding area did not have that many restaurants or coffee shops. It was not much of a neighborhood but it was fine for me.

The hotel is right beside Kodenmacho station and can even be considered to be in walking distance to Akihabara. It is also very easy to get to Ginza, Ueno etc from the Hibiya line, perhaps even Shinjuku or Shibuya. There is an onsen, sauna and cold bath on the 11th floor. Depending on the hours, there is free probiotic drinks (earlier in the day) or ice cream (later part of the day) for your enjoyment after a nice onsen bath. The floor also has 2 massage chairs and vending machine for milk/probiotic drinks and other beverages. There is also free noodles after 9.30 PM as long as stock lasts. The room itself felt a lot more spacious compared to my stay at APA hotel, I could fit 2 open lugagges. I very much liked the location and services provided. I also liked having a little door to separate the doorway/bathroom area and the bedroom area. There is an automatic light that is sensor based at the door regardless if your card is inserted or not which was also nice touch.

It's a splendid facility with an onsen and special treats. Breakfast is a must in this hotel—there's a great selection! The staff is very helpful and speaks decent English. I didn't have any problems with the checking-in and checking-out process. I'll definitely come back again.

The room is a little too small to stay with large luggage. If you are packing light, it must be no problem. However, this is till compensated by plenty of facility to use outside of the room. Spacious hot tub area and restaurant that will keep you enjoy in the hotel.

Our room was a reasonable size for a Tokyo hotel, and handy to the subway and plenty of places to eat and drink. The Dormy Inn extras - like free midnight ramen and then onsen (free yakult or ice cream for post bathing enjoyment were great). Staff were friendly and very helpful - they loaned us an iron, and organized to mind our luggage for a week while we went elsewhere in the country. Kodenmacho is a little way off the beaten tourist track, so it is a quieter than some bigger areas.

For the price, I can’t think of any drawbacks.

There were so many lovely little touches, I felt so at home here. The bathing area on the top floor was absolutely the best part of my stay. Just wonderful. And the breakfasts were excellent. The staff were friendly and welcoming and they took good care of my luggage when I arrived earlier than I could check in. The location is in a less touristy, quieter but lovely part of the city.

Very fictional facilities (nice public baths, quick laundry machine while you bathe, free fancy massage chair, extensive breakfast spread, free ramen at night, lots of other freebies). Clean and excellently run. On a subway station and close to several others.

Area around the hotel is office are rich is dead at night and we had trouble finding food after 8pm. Solution is to take the subway a couple of stops. Small 'Tokyo sized“ room (though I've certainly seem smaller) and very hard bed and pillows.

Stayed in the Dormy Inn in Korea in 2019 and absolutely enjoyed it. Tokyo Kodemmacho location did not disappoint either. Everything is very clean and cozy, with great Japanese breakfast and free ramen for dinner, very convenient and quiet location

The rooms and the onsen are pretty small. Missed the milk bath in the onsen, and a steamer in the room, that we had in Dormy Inn Seoul

The hotel is conveniently 30 seconds away from the Exit 3 of the Kodenmacho station of the Hibiya Line. Additionally, the Kodenmacho station is only one stop away from the JR Akihabara station, where you can easily transfer to the JR network. The night snack and (paid) breakfast are both awesome. I also like the public bath.

The room is extremely small and the window has no view, although both are very common in Tokyo.

Room was clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The location si absolutely sensational. If you get out of the hotel, the first shop on the right is a 7/11 konbini, and the next one is the metro station, so it is extremely convenient. Also one station away from akihabara if you like manga and anime culture ! Also really nice onsen, ramen, and massage machines.

Nothing

Their buffet breakfast is on another level. In Canada, that breakfast alone would have cost $40-70 pp already. Let alone they offer free shoyu ramen at night. Additionally, they have a sauna, cold pool, indoor hot pool and outdoor hot pool. Bed is comfortable too. Oh, forgot to mention, you can get unlimited Yakut after soaking yourself in the hot pool in the morning. Highly recommend!
