We had lovely customer service at arrival (although it is a bit disconcerting to have to go down to the lower level to check in). We liked the location a lot. Even though this hotel is located in the active and somewhat noisy Shinjuku area, we never heard a thing from our 13th floor room - they have excellent soundproofing. There is convenient access to the Shinjuku train station across the street, but beware - this is a huge, complicated station so allow a lot of time to find your way where you need to go once you are inside the station. Loved having a view of Godzilla from our window and the restaurants in the area were varied and excellent. I was very glad I added the daily breakfast to our reservation. It wasn't cheap, but it was a very good breakfast buffet with tons of options (both traditional American/European items as well as some Japanese and Chinese type breakfast foods). I traveled with my young adult daughter and this hotel was one of the more reasonable ones with two twin beds as an option. The room was small (expected), but also clean and reasonably well appointed. I appreciated the complimentary bottles of water and slippers.
Finding our way back to the hotel from inside Shinjuku Station was frustrating. We never did figure out how to find our way back to the hotel from inside; inevitably had to go outside and use Google Maps to walk there outside. There are two station entrances within a block of the hotel which was convenient when leaving the hotel - but when we returned, we never could find our way back to those two entrances! Some hotel signage inside the station would be helpful, but probably too much to ask for - there is already an overwhelming amount of directional signage in this station.

Location was great. Easy access to train station that allowed you to travel all over Tokyo easily and quickly. View from our room was of the Godzilla over Kabukicho and that was awesome. Very close to great shopping and restaurants in Shinjuku, easy walk to Omoide Yokocho, get drinks in Golden Gai, and easily explore Kabukicho.
Room was definitely on the smaller side with little to no storage. Little things like marks in the carpet and stains on the walls made me feel somewhat uncomfortable about the cleanliness of the space, however the bed and bathroom always felt clean. Our room was very hot the whole stay - we had a thermostat and it would kick on but never seemed to make a difference.

Location near shopping center and train stations The staffs at the main gate were very helpful.
The neighborhood was a bit noisy at night because it was located near night clubs and restaurants which were close late.

The location was outstanding! Shops in the same building made our stay so easy. The location was so vibrant we hardly left the area. The staff were so helpful from reception to the lovely housekeeping staff. The views were fantastic also. We were facing away from Godzilla head and really loved watching the sunrises and sets. We had the triple room so plenty of room and two gorgeous windows with a little sitting area which we named 'The Office' stayed 8 days and will be back again. First time in Tokyo with my mum and my son. Recommend it.
Aircon was automatically controlled so got warm sometimes. Staff kindly provided a stand alone unit. Also price was higher but worth it for the convenience.

The location is brilliant, very close to the Kabukicho, so no problem to find restaurants, and shops. It is right next to the mall "Pepe" and cafes around the hotels. There is underground malls, so shopping and dining are great.
The room is small which is standard in Tokyo central. You can hear the trains in the morning when facing the railway side. The trains start early in the morning, and very frequent so once you are awake, it is hard to sleep again.

The location in Shinjuku was fantastic, it was central to a lot of food and shopping, which was our main purpose. We also had Gozilla in our window view, which was a great novelty. The only issue was that it was a tiny room for a twin room and could barely fit our luggage with all our shopping. The cost was about $200/night for 3 nights. We were only going to stay one night but had to extend to 3 nights due to the earthquake we decided to not go to Kanazawa and just stay in Shinjuku for safety reasons. Because of the added on booking, the price increased. One thing I loved was the late checkout at 3pm if you were a Seibu Club member (free to join). Helped us prep for our flight later that night.
Cost was probably more than what we would have liked to pay, many other cheaper accommodation options, but understand it is a grand hotel. The rooms were very small for two people.

Very good location, staff were super friendly. Room was cleaned daily.
Room was not very well ventilated so it was very hot most of the time. The aircon seemed to be locked to certain settings. Perhaps I just didn't know how to work it properly but certainly would have benefited from clearer instructions. You can tell the hotel was definitely 10/10 at some point but time seems to have caught up with it a little. Would probably be perfect for a solo traveller.

5-10 minutes of a walk from JR Shinjuku Station, depending on the traffic, and connected to Shinjuku Seibu station. The room (19th floor) had a great view of the city, the bed was comfy, with many pillows. The temp control was great for central heating. Three sets of towels, hand, face, body. The amenities were nice. Around the hotel were many restaurants and bars, shops, and cafes. The staff were helpful and friendly, and I think most can speak English. The breakfast at the buffet/dining Marche was lovely. But next time I think we will try the breakfast buffet at Fuga! (If the breakfast buffet is still available)
The walls are kind of thin. I would have liked for the air purifier/humidifier to be cleaned more thoroughly.
