The room was very spacious for a capsule-style, with a comfortable bed, enough space under the bed for a suitcase, and just enough room to change in the morning. The reclining bed and alarm was great, the bathrooms super clean and spacious, there were always showers and toilets available. The location is perfect, 5 minutes from Shibuya station, and the common area has a well-equipped kitchen/dining room space. There are lots of amenities available and staff are very kind and accomodating.

Obviously since the room is only closed by a curtain, you can hear everything in the neighbouring rooms, but earplugs are provided so it's not a massive issue, and other guests were generally quiet.

The Millenials is very modern hostel and having an iphone to control certain aspects of the room, such as the bed postion and lighting, was a nice touch. The bed was very comfy and suprisingly spacious despite being compacted into a small area. I also loved how close it was to Shibuya station. It took me around a five minuet walk, and I am by no means a fast walker. If you are travelling with a suitcase or backpack, it will likely be even quicker!

You will be able to hear everything from your room, so I would highly recommend having ear plugs or headphones. I was quite fortunate that everyone on my floor was respectful and nobody was excessively noisey, however, you will still be able to hear things such as beds moving, people packing/unpacking their belongings, the door screens moving whenever somebody goes to the bathroom, ect.

The location is ideal, easily accessible from Shibuya Station. Lots of things to see and do around as well. The kitchen is nice, I enjoyed the free coffee machine to start the day. The bathroom is clean and nice to use. As expected, the capsule-like rooms are small but it is enough space.

It is a bit pricey, especially if you consider that it is a mix between a hostel and a capsule hotel. The phone used to control the bed and lighting randomly activated during the night which woke me up sometimes.

The Milennials is probably the most comfortable hostel I've ever experienced. The pod felt surprisingly spacious, fitting a small double bed with a top shelf for belongings, a sliding drawer for a larger suitcase, and a reclining bed that doubles as a sofa. It feels like your own quiet and safe space. I booked a theater pod with a projector, and although the cables were a bit clunky, I found it quite simple to operate and cosy for watching a movie after a full day of exploring. It's definitely not the cheapest hostel I've ever stayed at, but the convenient location and comfortable facilities make it worth it, in my opinion. The free beer at 5.30pm is certainly one of those bonuses.

Location (about a quarter mile walk from the Hachiko statue by Shibuya station), cleanliness, nice lounge area. The bed is quite comfortable.

I couldn’t quite tell from the photos so this is on me, but I found it disconcerting that you pretty much have to have all your stuff on full display if you want to get clothes out of your luggage etc. Coming from the US, having no locks and only having pull down shades that anyone can open was a little concerning. Japan is a very safe country so I understand, but still. Also the breakfast is not very good compared with other places I’ve been, with less variety and less tasty offerings.

Prime location right next to Shibuya Station; the staff was friendly and very accommodative and overall the rooms and amenities were clean and accessible. The daily beer happy hour was also a plus in their lounge which allows you to meet fellow travelers from all over the world.

Not much to say about what I didn't like. I guess it would be that my room was right in the main hallway next to the elevator, so there was not as much space and privacy as I would have liked, for what it's worth but obviously it is a capsule hotel.

Great location, really modern, clean facilities and helpful friendly staff. There was a happy hour and other initiatives to encourage solo travellers to chat. The towels, mattress and pillow were really comfortable and high tech. There was some kind of sound proofing that kept noise on the capsule floor to a minimum and the capsule itself was spacious and high tech.

There are a few too many staff on reception which can be disorganised and chaotic when you first check in, but they’re soon to help with anything you need, conferring with eachother on recommendations.

This was my first time staying in a capsule style hotel, so I don’t really have anything to compare it to but I found it comfortable and I stayed 3 nights. I would suggest something bigger for longer stays, as it felt a little cramped, and you only have privacy when inside your ‘room’ with the blind down. The bed was comfortable and the facilities were good. There were points to charge a phone right next to the bed, under bed pull out storage for luggage (big suitcases probably won’t fit), a silent alarm which was quite relaxing to wake up to and the staff were always very friendly. I stayed on the female only floor and while there were only 3 showers, I never had to wait for one. There was also a washing machine and dryer on the floor (which you need to pay to use, but that’s common). The location was only a 5 minute walk from Shibuya station and there were plenty of places to eat nearby, as well as a happy hour offering free beer at the accommodation daily (I didn’t participate but if you’re social or staying with friends, free beer is never a bad thing right?) Overall it was pricier than other capsule hotel options, but I’m happy with my choice to stay here and had a good experience at Millennials.

Well-located in Shibuya, just a few minutes’ walk to many stores and restaurants. Bathrooms and private showers are spacious and clean. Loved the reclining feature of the beds, so that you could sit up when not sleeping and use the bed like a couch. The silent alarm, where your bed starts moving up by itself at a certain time, was a cool feature. I didn’t book a theater pod, but the possibility of playing movies or a scene on the back of your curtain sounded awesome. It was also nice that you could store your luggage under your bed (I had a bulky suitcase, but it fit when I kept it open and slid the drawer back under the bed).

We paid for the breakfast during checkout and wished we’d gotten food around the hotel instead.

The place is super nice. Great staff, helpful and polite. The rooms - pods are super cumfy and cool. The biggest bed I've had at a capsule/hostel type place. You control it by an ipod that makes it go into sofa mode or bed mode. Clean, nice, quiet. The lounge was a cool place to meet people and the free beer hour is always fun. The work space you have access to is also really nice. Great location. Pricy compared to other places but you do get a great stay!

Can't use the stairs, only one elevator for the whole hotel.
