Immaculate rooms. Staff were perfection. All there staff from front of house to the cleaners were so helpful, polite and friendly and are a credit to the hotel. It’s a little dated but that to me isn’t important. The rooms were well equipped with everything you needed. Pool, hot tub. Food were impeccable and really very well priced. It’s about 2 miles from st Helier but don’t let that put you off. Buses every hour and taxis on tap. Would highly recommend

The only thing that I thought could have been better was a more modern and powerful hair dryer but it had one so it’s not really a dislike

Breakfast. Dinner. Staff. Prices. Jacuzzi. Pool.

Room 34 was above the restaurant and kitchen. Very noisy. I moved to room 26. Much quieter, but very bad WiFi signal. No airport shuttle. Only a couple of shuttles to St Helier each morning. Although, the walk wasn't bad in good weather. 30 mins if you're reasonably fit. £10 for a taxi. Local bus no 19 was infrequent but cheap.

We travelled as a small elderly rambling group, planning to spend most days walking on the island. I think it's fair to say everyone had a really great time and praised the hotel, which seemed to be very well-managed. The hotel is in a peaceful location on the edge of St Helier, surrounded by beautiful gardens and a large pool. We were staying on a half-board basis and the food was varied and excellent. The bedrooms were comfortable and quiet. Without exception the staff were friendly and helpful. There is a superb large outdoor heated pool where most of us relaxed in the afternoon after being out walking, and it was pretty quiet most of the time. Entertainment was provided on several evenings in the shape of singers, quizzes and movies, some of which was quite good, but as we were fairly tired by that time we weren't too interested. I was a bit concerned about transport arrangements at the hotel as we were relying on public transport to get around, however we had no problems. The hotel runs a shuttle bus into town at 10 am, and if it's full they simply run more trips. The local bus service is extremely reliable, extensive and cheap, and we navigated our way round the island with no difficulty (the no.19 bus stops outside the hotel and the no. 5 bus stops about 5 minutes walk away). Full details of buses on the island are available are on the libertybus website or app.

It would have been useful if the hotel ran a shuttle bus into town a bit earlier (say 0930).

Both breakfast and dinner were excellent. Good, varied choice througout our week. Waiting staff attentive and friendly. Would recommend. Plenty of sunbeds around the pool so never a problem finding somewhere to relax.

Room was very clean, but we found the pillows hard. Unfortunately the weekend was spoilt by a BBQ event, which apparently is a regular booking throughout the summer. Non residents took over the pool area including any number of children who were basically running riot with absolutely no parental, or indeed, staff control. This behaviour prevented residents from using the pool and hot-tubs as it was full of mis-behaving children. If the hotel wish this event to continue then surely they should make a greater effort to avoid potential accidents as well as give more consideration to their paying residents.

I like the buffet style breakfast arrangement, as my husband and I are not keen on a full English breakfast. The pool was a definite bonus. It was lovely to sit by and relax and read a book. The hotel grounds and gardens are beautifully kept. Nice to walk around after the evening meal. All the hotel staff, from reception, bar staff, waiters, to housekeeping were all very friendly, polite and helpful.

The bed was a little hard and pillows were a little thin and hard. I usually take my own pillow with me when I travel as I have neck issues, but didn't on this occasion.

The staff were so welcoming and friendly, really took time to speak to me and understand how they could best help me. As a solo female traveller I really felt safe in the hotel. And the swimming pool was amazing, I really enjoyed ore-breakfast swims!

All staff welcoming, happy, friendly and efficient. Grounds and rooms immaculate. Exceptional service at breakfast which was thoroughly enjoyed each morning. So very grateful for the upgrade of rooms which was a lovely surprise on arrival. Overall a really lovely week spent at The Westhill. Perfect for our needs as bed and breakfast whilst we spent the week exploring the Island .

The only criticism I have is the size of the shower head in the ensuite. Could do with a larger one as quite small . A minor detail really, as room exceeded my expectations.

The room was a good size, nice view of the garden area, staff were friendly and had lots of laughter. There were a lot of facilities available and you could have a great time just staying at the hotel itself... but the location is perfect for visiting Jersey, as it is so close to the town, and a shuttle bus is available. I bought some wine on the ferry over and left it on the desk in the room. When I came back after being out for the day, the room was cleaned, and a wine glass thoughtfully left on the side near my wine, a nice little touch. I also had to do some work while away, there was facilities available in the room to use a desk and laptop etc. If needed.

My friend struggled with no elevator, however this wasn't an issue for me and I was aware of this before booking. Only change recommended would be bigger beds and a bigger TV. But that shouldn't put anyone off staying.

An old Hotel in rural surroundings with lovely large outdoor pool and gardens. Great parking. Bedrooms & bathrooms spotlessly clean. Bedroom fresh appearance and overlooked the pool and gardens. Breakfast excellent well cooked and quality ingredients. Efficient waiting on staff. Nice touch was the pool bar which served Draught Beers/lagers and good food menu. Free Mini bus takes into St Helier but no return trips.

We dined one evening and it was awful sadly had to send food back. Portions were tiny served with horrid frozen mixed vegetables. By contrast to the Breakfast and pool side food it was a stark opposite! The pool has only ladder accessibility which automatically bars anyone with a mobility issue. Would have booked again but sadly told the hotel is closing. The hotel is needing upgrading perhaps whay its closing?

Unfortunately during our stay one of our family sadly passed away. The hotel was so supportive and helped us emensly. This hotel has a lovely ambience. Staff were wonderful and the grounds superb. Would definitely be back at some point.

If I could just say a grab handle in the bath would be of a great help. Most people who where there were pensioners including ourselves and we are not as steady on our feet as we once where. That is the only thing I can say otherwise a fabulous hotel.
