Great friendly staff, lovely food, hot and cold food was lovely, plenty for all, and staff willing to help if you needed anything. The location was great, 15 minutes walk into town centre or 5 minutes bus, which you can catch right outside. the beach is minutes away, with lovely clean sand and a lovely clear sea. Also, it's not that busy. pool was good, just a little dark. rooms were spacious, and there was plenty of wardrobe and cupboard space. The bed was comfortable and big made up of two large singles, but you don't notice the join. Separate toilet and bathroom both could do with an update. However, both are very clean. Bar and restaurant were great, and you can always sit out in the terrace area if it's nice. The price for food and drink is reasonable. Overall, it was a great hotel.

hotel is showing its age, rooms have been decorated, but carpet and floorboards need attention, a little creaky when walking around and you can hear it from room above. The bathroom and toilet could do with updating The stairwells smell musty and damp. Lighting in the pool area could be brighter. With breakfast and dinner, could do with a sign to say what things are.

Being from Jersey this is always our go-to place for a staycation! Perfect location, good value, friendly staff, great food & ideal facilities for a family! the rooms are nice & spacious, the breakfast is brilliant! Nice size swimming pool, jacuzzi & sauna as well as changing facilities with showers. This is definitely one of the best places on the Island for all types of people from families to individuals.

We were given single beds instead of a double which was disappointing, when it stated it would be a double. At dinner, we asked for desert however the menu was never brought back to us and therefore when we asked for it we were told the kitchen was closed, they did give us a few pieces of cake that were left over to try and compensate this! Also, I asked what cocktails were available for the waiter to go to the bar to find out and come back 10 minutes later to be told “the barman is too busy to make cocktails” I’m not sure if staffing is a problem but the service was slow.

Friendly, cheerful staff 24 hours reception Great breakfasts with lots of choices Close to centre of St Helier - 5 minute #1 bus ride stops outside or 15 minute walk Room serviced daily Bed comfy Room warm (+ extra heater, not needed) Good value Would stay again

Room had view to rear of hotel (flat roofs & scaffolding) Shame the pool was out of action all week - missed my daily swim. The pool was the main reason I booked here. Towels could be softer Shower pressure & temp varied from day to day. Found I had to leave it running for several minutes to stabilise.

The rooms had recently been refurbished. Bus stop directly outside was a bonus. Directly opposite the beach. We could leave our luggage on our last day to collect later.

Little niggly things…pillows were hard, only had water glasses and biscuits on our first night (we stayed for 5), had to ask for glasses to be replaced. Floor hadn’t been vacuumed when we arrived and wasn’t during our stay.

The breakfast was very good - a little pricey perhaps. Ok if you wanted a bit of everything but if you just wanted a bacon sandwich (or something small) it was too pricey at £15. The room was fine though needs a bit of upgrading. The carpet was very stained and old and needs replacing. My son loved the swimming pool especially as it was indoor and at this time of year an outdoor pool would have been unused. Generally a good place to stay.

The decor in the room is a bit dull and as I said above the carpet is old and stained and needs replacing in room 92. The separate toilet (from the bathroom) needs a picture or something on the wall. It was very bland.

The communal areas were great and had been updated. Our room was a little snug, but it did have a superking bed, wardrobe, desk & stool, armchair, & bedside cabinets. Also a balcony with a small table and two chairs, with sea view. Breakfasts were superb, with loads of choice and constant replenishment. Our evening meals at the hotel were also very good.

The ensuite was a tiny room, up some steps off the bedroom, containing a toilet and a small walk-in shower with nowhere to put your shampoo etc. The washbasin was in the bedroom. The toiletries that our booking said would be provided were just liquid soap.

Very friendly staff eager to please, exceptional tasty breakfast with lots of choice, fast and efficient wifi, huge room cleaned every morning with tea coffee etc replenished daily. 2 bus stops outside hotel going in both directions to Gorey and St Helier.Nice greetings by reception staff every time we passed through.

Wife didn’t like sauna, not hot enough and there were no bubbles in jacuzzi which was not very warm. As the week went by toward the end of our holiday there were no towels provided at the pool.

The cleanliness of the hotel. The friendliness and attention of the staff. The location of the hotel to the bus routes and beaches and it was within walking distance of St Helier. The pool and sauna were great too and lovely fresh towels provided for them. The food in the bar was delicious and they have a lovely outside terrace to enjoy it on, weather permitting.😉

The room above ours had a very noisy floor (squeeky) and there were people moving about in it most of the night. We heard them up until 2.30am and from 6am. The noise would keep us awake/wake us. I know you can't tell people to go to bed early but maybe a thicker carpet upstairs might help this. This was the only issue we had with the hotel.

The property was in a great location and easily got to with a bus stop outside. Food was excellent and great value. The hotel was warm & cosy, beds were comfortable, decent smart TV. Plenty of tea & coffee supplies in the room, and towels (on a heated towel rail). Staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Breakfast was superb. There is a little shop across the road which is handy.

Be careful you don’t get scammed - I got a message in the chain of messages from the hotel in the booking app so it appeared genuine, asking for payment via a link within 24 hours to secure the room. I realised it was suspicious and paid properly through the booking app not the suspicious link in the message and reported it to booking. Windows didn’t close properly.

The staff were generally friendly and helpful, the pool was very good, but cool, and the changing rooms were a little small. (No individual cubicles, and only one shower and toilet). The food was very good, both at breakfast and in the cocktail bar. The room was spacious and provided plenty of storage.

When using the lift (which only goes to the second floor), to access your room, there were lots of corridors, steps and doors to navigate. Asked for a shower, but this was only over a bath, which made access difficult, and the shower was not very powerful. No anti slip mats in the bath or at the terrace entrance to the hotel. Some fixtures and fittings need attention. In our room (49), the light over the bathroom mirror was not working, the clothes line was broken, and the toilet seat did not stay up.
