Excelent ambience and cleanliness of the entire facility. Staff went out of their way to ensure our stay was good from the check-in process, dining and evening at Upepo bar

Increase starch variety in main restaurant eg Mash Potatoes etc

The space was nice and extremely welcoming. I felt home from the first moment.

Nothing. I appreciated every single aspect of this place.

The hotel itself appears impressive at first glance, but don't let that fool you—it's a construction zone. The costs are exorbitant, the facility is underprepared to handle guests, and the only silver lining—the courteous restaurant staff—is hardly enough to save the overall bleak experience. Avoid, unless you're interested in a night of no sleep, inhaling paint fumes, and endless frustration.

For those thinking about a special stay in Nairobi, please reconsider if you're looking at this establishment. My experience at this hotel, which cost a steep $300 per night, was disastrously far from what you'd expect at such a price point. Half of the property is under construction, disrupting what could have been a peaceful stay. Our room, while clean and aesthetically pleasing, came with its own set of problems. The windows were sealed shut, trapping a nauseatingly strong odor of paint that made it difficult to breathe. But the real kicker came during the night when the electrical system seemed haunted—lights flickering on and off at random intervals throughout the late hours without any apparent reason. It wasn't just annoying; it was downright spooky, disrupting our sleep multiple times. If someone was in the room switching the light on and off... This hotel also seems to prioritize local traffic over its guests—the on-site restaurant, which one would expect to provide a convenient dining solution, was packed with non-guests, making it difficult to get a table. A simple SA glass of wine was overpriced at $20, and if you thought that was bad, breakfast was an additional $50 for an adult and a child!
