The hotel rooms were fully renovated in November 2022 and they got beautiful interior with big smart TVs. Kitchen, dining and sitting rooms are very spacious and elegant. We were given 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms (my booking was 2 bedrooms) and each room has closet and big comfy bed. Room towels and bed lines are changed everyday. They even washed our dishes. You can also use the laundry at downstairs for free. It has two swimming pools (one is big, one for kids). This hotel is just next to the shopping mall so you dont need to worry about the transport and security. The mall has supermarket, forex, toyshop, cafes and restaurant. This is my second stay at Yaya and we really had nice stay with good services. I think we got good price for this big and nice rooms.

Since it is just renovated, they could add small items such as safe, tissue box, small dust bins and memo pads. The windows are single, so you can hear noise from the main street (but not so much).

We had a gorgeous duplex apartment - it was only one bedroom but perfect for our small family of four (2 adults, 2yo and 4yo). very comfortable with multiple sofas, TVs and a very well equipped kitchen. The pool was a bit cold for swimming while we were there, but the sandpit and kids play area were fab. perfect for spending and hour or so before heading out for the day. We loved being right next door to the Yaya Centre - easy to access groceries and food when we were too tired to venture further afield. overall we were very happy with our stay and would definitely come again!

There was a bit of construction work still going on (we knew about this in advance) which blocked up the lift - especially in the morning it took at least 10 minutes of waiting to get downstairs! The work wasn’t overly loud though. everything else we needed was available, for some things we did have to ask.

No breakfast was provided so this question is not applicable.

Maybe provision of a washing machine could have been a little more pleasant. I didn't like the fact that I booked a one bedroomed apartment and I was given a 3 bedroomed apartment. I was told they were under renovation which I didn't believe because during my entire stay, the apartment next to mine was occupied by a guest. Even when I asked to have a look before I left for my future bookings I wasn't allowed to even when the apartment was open with no guest inside. I questioned honesty of the staff in this regard.

Beautiful and very comfortable apartment, amazing showers, great AC, helpful/friendly staff (they’re really the best!), incredible and secure location! We loved that it was next to the yaya centre and we could go to CJ’s or Unseen Nairobi (awesome rooftop bar) just 2 minutes away. It was really easy to catch an Uber from the entrance as well.

Future guests are so lucky- the main lobby was under construction and will be ready soon! And the gym has plans for improvement as well! None of this really mattered for now though, everything was still excellent and usable.

Huge, comfortable apartment. Well furnished with comfortable beds. Large TV with sports channels. Busy but central location: easy to get Ubers and seemed reasonably safe to walk around during the day. Shopping centre next door which can be accessed without leaving the secure area. Huge outdoor swimming pool (not heated).

Major building works on the ground floor meant some noise in the day, only one lift working so sometimes had to wait quite a long time, main gym not functioning. Some traffic noise, even on the 7th floor, as the building is quite old and windows are single glazed and not tight fitting. Staff were nice but disorganised. We found our apartment missing basic items which we had to ask for, eg only one remote control for 3 a/c units, only 3 sets of cutlery for 4 people, no hairdryer. Took a long time to get towels for the pool.

The entire apartment was luxurious and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with good quality utensils and top of the line equipment. The bedrooms were spacious and the bathrooms were spotless. The property is very well maintained and the staff are wonderful. The location is great as well, yaya centre right next door has a lot of great restaurants and places to shop for curios that are significantly cheaper than the curio shops along the highway. Would definitely go back whenever I visit Nairobi again.

Everything was wonderful, but just as a suggestion, it would have been nice to have the following things: 1. Air conditioning in the living room. 2. Some basic cooking essentials such as oil, salt, pepper, and dish soap. 3. Bath robes.

The apartment was very comfortable and clean. We booked a 3-bedroom but were upgraded to a 4 bedroom. Front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful and housekeeping was very thorough. Very nice furnishings and kitchen was stocked with pots/pans/dishes and utensils. Location was great next to the Yaya Center which has restaurants, pharmacy, shopping, DHL, supermarket, etc.

There was a free washer and dryer in the basement but only one of each for the whole building. Luckily they were available most days.

Everything, The comfort, The apartment is absolutely a 10 rating everything about is amazing. I would to thank Ruth and Jacinta for their amazing hospitality and specially Joyce thank you for making sure our apartment is comfortable daily!!, I don’t think my stay in Nairboi would be the same without their great hospitality, Absolutely amazing. They helped us in making our stay so enjoyable and pointed us in the right direction for activities such as safari. A big thank you to the security staff for their amazing presence when the protests were happening I have never felt more safe in a foreign country. The location is very convenient literally next to the Yaya centre for great food and across the road is Kilimani Mall. Absolutely amazing experience but I’ll be back soon. Thanks everyone at Yaya Apartment!!!

There’s literally nothing you could possibly dislike, Very rare from someone who’s travelled to 52 countries around the world!! 10/10

👎 Cons: 🏊‍♂️ Cold Pool: Large swimming pool but not temperature-controlled, making it unsuitable for kids. 🤔 Final Thoughts: Given the overwhelmingly positive experience, a cold pool won't deter us from a return visit to Yaya Hotel & Apartments.

The most ideal location next to the shopping mall wirh a back door in the basement to the mall. The staff are amazing and the most kindest people i have met. Right from the reservation process with James and Simon who went an extra mile to accomodate my requests. The apartments are newly refurblished with very tasteful decor. The housekeeping manager is very humble, sweet and attentive and so is all her staff. At the reception Jacinta will treat you with utmost care and love and so are all the other receptionist well trained, professional and just good people. The security is tight and i loved all of them. They always smiled and ready to assist. I cannot fail to mention my housekeeper Lucy, what a beautiful soul, kind, hardworking and most loving lady. She did me good in so many ways am grareful to have met her. The complex has two pools and a tennis court with an elite couch who is also very professional. The construction was still ongoing but the manahmgement was very accomodative. I staycationed for a month and worked throught out and they were able to pause and allow me to take meeting calls. I had the best time in Yaya Apartments cannot wait to get back. I highly recommend. Kind Regards, Beatrice
