Nice hotel perfect for overnight stay next to train station. We especially liked the way it is decorated. The room was very nice but the bathroom very impractical

The lack of attention to details. Shower doors made cabin much too tight, soap in bathroom (which was up) never got replaced even though we asked, no english speaking tv channels etc. Felt as if management had lost the guest's perspective.

The room was big enough for 3 people, beds were very comfortable. Although the choice of food wasn't huge, the breakfast was very tasty. The staff was very kind (especially the young receptionist who welcomed us). The location was in walking-distance from the Main Train Station (3 minutes) and the city center (there's no need to buy a ticket for a public transportation).

The carpet in our room wasn't vacuumed well enough. That wasn't disturbing that much but it might have been done better in order to make a better first impression. No hangers in the bathroom. Although the location was very good for sight-seeing, the surrounding area wasn't the most comfortable - there were lots of young people talking loud, playing music at night, many homeless people in the area of the Main Train Station.

1. Unpleasant staff (reception and cleaning staff). What I found really annoying of them is trying to get to my room two hours before the check out time (knocking two times of two different persons) wanting to clean the room. 2. Very small room (however, it's enough for a night or two)

Great location from the main train station and close to plenty of great places to eat. Bed was a good size with comfortable pillows. Wonderful sized bathroom! Great lighting.

I found a few clumps of hair on the carpet that definitely weren't mine. They had stuck to my socks I was wearing. Water also splashed out from beneath the shower door.

Easy walk from main railway station. Breakfast added on was well worth it.

The area is a bit run down - as you sometimes find near big railway stations. Fairly expensive, partly because of sterling exchange rate.

Central location, various food options very close to the hotel, very close to lake Alster so we could pop by for a run in the morning, bed was comfy and mainly spacious room.

Bathroom too small, always banged our knees against the door when going to toilet. Also, the shower doors did not shut properly, mostly all water came out and flooded the floor.

Lovely room - staff in all areas very pleasant, helpful, had time for residents. The quality of the hotel and staff made it an extra special short break, thank you.

Nice business hotel, staff was great after a inconvenience with the room at arrival.

Definitely not a boutique hotel. The room could have had a telephone to call reception and a mini bar (no water in the room), the room was clean however I found a couple of long dark hair (perhaps the cleaning woman).

great location - right next to the main train station, rooms were beautifully decorated, beds very comfortable, staff were very friendly.

it was a very warm weekend so air con would have been great as it was a bit noisy with the windows open but that’s due to building works - not the hotels fault at all.

- room had some dust on the floors - elevator was very small and long waiting times to get downstairs in the morning - no rubbish bin in the room
