Very spacious apartment, separate bedroom, large bathroom, comfortable living /kitchen - all with solid doors between. Comfortable large bed. Excellent location, lots of parking, Italian Restaurant within walking distance. Easy self-service breakfast layout downstairs - waffle maker, cereal, hot scrambled eggs, yummy sausages, yoghurt & fruit cups in the fridge, bread rolls, fresh green apples, amazing coffee! We were very impressed! Would definitely stay here again, when visiting beautiful Vermont! (Highly recommend spending 3-5 hours at the gorgeous Shelburne Historic Village /Museum, a short car -ride away).

Friendly and helpful staff on both evening and day shifts. A very clean and well stocked hotel. Also updated features both in the hallways and the rooms. The breakfast was full of many choices and also had high quality food. Children were seen enjoying the making of their own waffles. I especially was pleased to see for me the choice of a cinnamon raison bagel. :)

The use of the room air freshener, for me it was only an uncomfortable initial odor, but for others with allergies it could be an issue. Also noted was that the access door from the 00 lower level, at the other end of the hotel from the lobby, did not close and lock automatically. I found it ajar the few times I exited it late into the evening, taking a shorter trip to my parking space. I of course made sure it was closed each time I exited through it, and my room key didn't allow access back into the hotel at that door, after doing so. I see this, in my opinion, as a significant security issue. I did report it to the check-in desk that evening, suggesting that it might be better to have it only as an emergency exit.

Very nice suite on the third floor The kitchenette was a great perk, space and equipment was very nice. Generous breakfast that had everything. Access to the pool and training equipment was great. Warm welcome with Gwen, she was very helpful and nice.

I would have like to have almond milk for breakfast as I am lactose intolerant. Also, the smell of the air that came from the air ventilation in from the bathroom air trap was not clean. We could detect some traces of cigarette or pot smoking residues or other un fresh smells. With some air fresheners, it was alright. The hotel provided me with a free bottle, we used it 3-4 times a day and it was ok. The room was clean.

We showed up late and the gal in the office was spectacularly wonderful! I believe her name was Alex. She was by far the best person ever to be at the hotel desk, check in etc. she gave us our room card, we went all the way up to the second floor for the cards to not work. We brought them back, and she was so funny! She got the cards to work for the second time.

Every thing was good fine and dandy- if I mentioned any issues at all it would be that the bed had a big indent on one side. Probably from one person in the bed often etc. so my recommendation would be new beds.

The room was large and made it quite comfortable for our group of 5 people. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and other cooking implements you may need for a short stay. The bathroom is set up with a sink outside, which is ideal for groups of 3 or more.

It is rather far away from downtown Burlington. If you are looking to stay in Burlington without having to drive or take the bus to visit downtown, then I would recommend looking for another hotel.

I’m not sure why there are negative reviews. This is an excellent 3 star hotel. We had a King Suite (3rd floor) which was clean and didn’t smell. They have coffee available in the lobby what seems like 24/7 and a a standard complimentary hotel breakfast each morning. All the staff we encountered were incredibly welcoming and helpful.

The price seemed steep but not out of line from similar hotels in the area. The bathroom could have use more ventilation.

We were upgraded to a larger room which was very comfortable. The room was clean, towels were nice and the bed super comfortable. We were able to watch March madness women’s basket ball to our heart’s contend. The front desk staff is very helpful and friendly.

The breakfast was just so, so but not worse then any other hotel where we recently stayed. The tea was hot and the server kept everything well stocked. The pillows were too thin and flimsy, note to self, bring your favorite pillow.

We were very surprised to see all the amenities in the room at the price we paid. Staff was professional and friendly. Breakfast was more than adequate.

Only problem was people in adjoining room were very noisy late into the night. We did not complain to the front desk as in this day and age one cannot trust how the people in the room might react.

I liked that there was a full kitchen. A full size microwave and full size fridge were completely unexpected, but they were very welcome. The place was not luxurious, but it was very clean and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely would stay there again the next time I travel to Burlington, VT. I highly recommend the place to anyone traveling to Burlington, VT.

The bed in my king studio room was very comfortable. I had driven 6 hours that day and was so happy to sleep in that comfy bed. The room itself had everything I needed, including a full size refrigerator, microwave, plates, glasses, utensils, paper towels and dish soap. The room size was very generous and the sitting area was comfortable with both a couch and chair. All the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. I had the free breakfast downstairs one day and there were plenty of hot and cold choices including scrambled and boiled eggs, yogurt, various breads and cereals. I was visiting people for the weekend and would stay here again. It’s close to many cute shops, antique centers, and eateries to meet up with friends either in Shelburne or Burlington.

There are two Ascend Suite buildings in the same parking lot and google maps sent me to the one that is for extended stays. The actual hotel is the one closest to the highway. It’s not the hotel’s fault, but it can be confusing if you go to the wrong one. The bath soap is awful, bring your own.
