As a woman solo traveler, it was one of the best customer service experice I had! I normally appreciate modern design, but this hotel was a great surprise for my eyes, with a classical design with carpets and ornaments. Besides, the staff is very receptive and helpful, and assured a very fast check-in with clear instructions. The hotel's wi-fi works excellently. The room and toilet are very clean, and quiet. The breakfast is excellent for those who do not have dietary restrictions. A potential drawback for those requiring more space is the size of the room I was assigned, which was rather compact. However, it was enough for circulation and to accommodate a carry-on suitcase. Additionally, the window faced the back, thus, there was no view to speak of. But if this doesn't bother you, you'll have a very pleasant stay.

The area surrounding the accommodation might not be the most comfortable for a solo woman traveler. It's located near a red-light district, with many men staying outside. However, I felt that it's generally safe to walk around during the daytime. As with any urban environment, it's important to remain vigilant and aware of your surroundings.

The hotel is in an excellent location, 15 minutes walking from the city center and right next to the central station. It is easily reachable by car and it has private parking right across the street, so we had no problem with where to leave our car. The hotel is chic and the reception staff is friendly and helpful. The room was also also chic, very clean and with toiletries, towels, TV, tee maker and a wardrobe. The room itself is not super big, but the space was more than enough for two people. The beds were comfortable and the sheets very clean as well.

There is no fridge in the room, which would have been nice to have. There is a kettle for tee and coffee but it would have also been nice to have an actual coffee machine so we are able to have coffee in the room. Also, we got a room facing the street and unfortunately the window was not isolating very well because there were people having drinks in the street until very late in the night and it was difficult to sleep with the noise. Also we were unlucky to find construction on the street when we arrived so that also made it very noisy, even with the window closed.

We loved the wonderful, friendly & chatty gentleman who was always at reception. We liked the ambience when entering the hotel doors and the lovely music that was always playing. The decor was beautiful and tasteful. The complimentary water with lemon and mint ontap was appreciated especially during the humid sunny days. We were grateful that we could store our lugguage as we arrived sooner and also when we checked out so we could explore the last hours of the city before travelling back home. The lift was a bonus. The vanity sets in the toilet, the complimentary water, tea and cofee and the disposal slippers in the room were nice extras.

No aircon but a fan which we used even during sleeping as it was so humid. Only 2 english brkst teabags for 3 night stay and no milk for the coffee.

Nice hotel next to the train station. It was very clean and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast is good and for such a small hotel a lot of variety. Also the hotel bar for a drink in the evening was very nice. Old fashioned interior with antiques.

Bathroom had a shower but nothing to put the soap in the shower cabin - we had to please soap and razors on the floor if the cabin. The parking garage was not available because there were roadworks, but we were not informed and had to park the car at the train station parking garage. The area is not so safe at night with drug dealers and prostitutes just on the streets behind the hotel.

Location was great for the proximity to the city center and the train station. There was a delicious Indian restaurant in front of the hotel. The check-in personnel, was a sweet and gentle grandpa! At first we arrived at around 1:30pm and he immediately said, you're too early for check-in. What's great is they have a nice lobby area with cool infused water so we were able to stay in the lobby for a bit. Around 2pm we were allowed to check-in. The hotel is so quirky in its design and cozy, it's only a 10-minute walk to the city center. We loved our stay!

Location made it difficult to look for parking. There were a lot of road works around the area and it was difficult to manouver around with the car. Just park at the train station, then it's easier and it's a 10minute walk to the hotel.

First and foremost the staff were all excellent, and I struggle to think of a hotel I have stayed at where they were better. The hotel is fairly well located, and perhaps a 15 minute walk from the main attractions, close to the station and public transport, as well as a few places you can eat. The whole place is very clean, and the decoration is a nod to the hotels history, as well as having some modern touches.

The hotel does not have air conditioning, so if your in Luxembourg on one of the 3 warm days of the year this may be an issue. I suspect it would be hard to add the venting to this lovely old building to install it, and the room had a quality dyson airblade fan, which was more than enough to keep us comfortable, but this may be an issue for some people.

There is a very nice guy in the reception called Gianni, he relates every customer with a personal approach and special treatment.

There was a little water on the floor under the sink in room 407. Also in the area of the hotel, there are some drug dealers wandering around.

The room is quite big with enough space. Bed is also quite big and comfortable. Everything was super clean. The hotel looks old and it has old-fashioned atmosphere and vibes - like staying somewhere in the past. Staff is super friendly and kind. Noise cancelation between rooms is good - we barely heard anyone else from the other rooms. Location is close to the train station.

There are a lot of noise from the street even early morning or late evening. With closed window it’s a bit better, but when it’s warm outside - it is hard to keep it closed. I also asked for a quiet room when booking - but I think it was one of the noisiest. I could barely sleep during the night. Extra money are charged for the dog (I assume for extra cleaning) - but no amenities for the dog were provided, usually with charging extra for a pet hotels also provide extra amenities like bows for food and water. The hotel inside looks super nice, but the room itself could use a bit of renovation. Location is good , but there are road works next to it which adds a lot of noise and sadly outside it looks like there’s a ghetto next to it sometimes

We loved the hotel. A traditional hotel with great service, lovely staff and clean rooms. The breakfast was great too. Madame Jeannette , next door was a nice dinner choice as well. We particularly liked the senior aged gentleman who looked after us. Such an asset to the hotel. The location is close to the free tram which takes you to the city centre. An easy walk from the station, if travelling by train. The reception staff speak several languages. A great stay. Thank you.

This hotel is an excellent value-for-money option! The rooms are housed in a beautifully renovated and tastefully decorated building, conveniently located near the city's main train station and just a short walk from the city center. The rooms are well-equipped with all the essentials, and the beds are very comfortable.

The neighborhood can feel a bit sketchy, particularly in the evening, and the staff's English communication skills could use some improvement.
