Clean and neat rooms, well maintained. Spacious. The sea view was a plus point.

The parking space is limited and sometimes as guest, you don’t have space to park your car. No plug point in bathroom. Shower door cant shut tight in room 905 which caused water to escape outside of shower area. Variety and taste of dishes served at breakfast can improve.

The floor to ceiling views from room, breakfast, pool are the draw card. Get a city facing room. Hotel is modern and fresh. I was traveling with my wife who I would describe as the fussiest hotel guest on earth. Here's what she said: THIS PROPERTY IS AMAZING IN EVERY RESPECT🙀 Outstanding views everywhere. Light-filled expansive spaces. Luxe linen, bed,pillows,towels. Hot, satisfying showers Reliable, fast WIFI Tasteful decor throughout Restaurant and reception will blow you away. Infinity pool with 360d views, massive space on 22nd floor. Generous room supplies/drinking water. Organised management, efficient housekeeping. Professional and friendly staff. I’m a difficult person to please, after staying for 9 days with my husband, the OZO was the perfect, well-located haven to retreat after a day in the hot/humid weather watching the sea scape, mountains and colonial surrounds. Lots of fun cruising the island on our 🛵. We wish to acknowledge and thank the GM and her exceptional team to making our stay memorable.

The hotel is as close as you can get to the old town and still have that commanding view. It can be a hot 7 minute walk to the center of old George Town nightlife. Nothing else I can say that I didn't like. I checked out 5 other hotels while I was there and I'd go back to Ozo without question.

Cozy room within walking distance to lots of eateries at Georgetown. I upgraded to the deluxe room which comes with a bettew view (Seaview), but the room size is still the same (take note). Room was clean and beds were comfy (our room was cleaned everyday). Good TV programs which were kid friendly (Cinemax, AXN, Disney channel) and they even have Monopoly board game at the common area (level 20). Level 20 also has pretty decent spaces to work at so definitely can consider if you're looking for a hotel that you can work at. They also have an elevated garage for your car so no need to worry about parking your car at the hotel, although i think it can only fit standard Sedans and SUVs - better check with the hotel if they can accommodate bigger vehicles like Vellfire/Alphard. Check-in staff and parking staff were very professional and super friendly, kudos to the OZO Penang team! Will definitely consider staying here again.

The only issue I had was hearing some karaoke singing from one of the bars/restaurants just outside the hotel which was REALLY LOUD and annoying especially since it was going on till late night. Since its not coming from the hotel so nothing can be done to stop it, the windows arent thick enough to block the noise. I didnt try the facilities nor breakfast there so cant comment.

Very comfortable hotel, very modern, clean and spacious. There is free parking available in the hotel. Walking distance is possible but for 6MYR you can take a Grab.

There is also a restaurant (only for breakfast and lunch, not for dinner) but during our stay , there was nothing available for lunch in the restaurant …. There are good restaurant alternatives aacross the street (Lengkaus restaurant for example). There is a very nice swimming pool, but it would even be nicer if there was a bar and music, now there was not much atmosphere.

Great location. Extremely snazzy looking reception and gorgeous rooftop pool with exceptional views. The bed was the comfiest we had stayed in the whole of SE Asia (been here 4 months). Staff allowed us to check in an hour earlier which was appreciated, as our flight got in super early in the morning. Rooms was comfortable, spacious and standard hotel room style. Nice decor and bathroom was wicked with a brilliant shower. Most staff are helpful and sweet. Actually would really recommend staying here if in Georgetown!

Only slight moan was the bathroom was never really clean. It wasn’t clean when we first checked in and thereafter the same. There were hairs and dust etc on the floor continuously throughout our stay. Other than that - everything else was great!

Room was really comfortable and clean. Pool on the rooftop was great for very hot days and loads of towels provided. kettle and cups in room which is fantastic especially for a cup of tea after a busy day. Easy to get a grab to or walk to places around Georgetown. red dragon garden not far for food.

House keeping come very early which means we always missed them as they can around 9am. Staff were fine but didn’t seem approachable potentially due to language barrier. would have been good to be informed of breakfast and pool times at check in.

We stayed in a One bedroom suite. The room was clean, and the toilets were clean. Restaurants are nearby within walking distance. My kids ordered some light food to be sent to our room, and the food tasted good.

Food is not available after 6.30pm, something that the hotel management should look into it to extend the time until 12 midnight at least. The hotel doesn't have laundry service on weekends. Management, please make that available. Car Park is too limited. We drove Volvo SUV and had a tough time to get a good parking. The hotel should reserve the front parking for some big cars and should give priority to executive cars, which i feel it will create value to the hotel, like how 5* hotels do..

Everything is best. Even though his counter is near level 20, but top tip service!! The hotel and the room smell good all the time. There are also many choices of food and everything is delicious except muffins and pau, because it's a bit hard. Parking is provided multilevel, or the guard can adjust the parking for you. The cleanliness of the hotel is also good. The water pressure in the water chamber is very strong and satisfying. Thank you to receptionist Ridzuan for the best service for us when checking in and checking out. The bathing pool is on the top floor once and has stunning views.

Muffin and pau😂

I rarely give a "10" but this hotel has earned it. Top highlight is of course the exciting rooftop pool and gym on 22nd floor. Fantastic views, especially for sunset. The lobby and workspace area on 20th floor also great. Friendly staff which let me check-in a bit earlier. Rooms are spacious, bright, modern and stylish, some (more expensive) ones should come with great views. Comfortable beds, modern bathroom with big shower cubicle. Location is ok. . Short 10 to 15 min. walk to Chulia Street. Internet fast. All that should usually come at a reasonable price.

Nothing to complain.

There are four "must have" features to get a good rating from me - quiet, comfortable bed, quality shower and proper working aircon. OZO has all four, no problem. A bonus was the great breakfast on the 21st floor, overlooking the city. They had watermelon with no seeds! The staff was very helpfull and friendly. Really enjoyed our stay on the 20th floor with an ocean view.

This is a tough one, no place is perfect. Nope, nothing comes to mind.
