The room was fairly clean and very spacious. They upgraded us to a deluxe room which was so kind of them. The location is great, only a five minute walk to the beach and main strip. Hot and cold water for the shower works well. Hot and cold water filter is free to use for drinking water. The staff are so so kind and helpful. They helped us to rent a scooter for our stay. They also moved us to a new room when there was a cockroach in ours.

We had a cockroach in the room more than once but the staff was so incredibly helpful with this. They came in and killed the first one and then set up a mothball to keep them away. When we found another one they switched us to a new room so that they could do a treatment on the first room. They stated it is not normal for them to have roaches and that it is probably due to the heavy rainfall but they would need to treat the room to be sure. Despite the roaches I would still stay here again simply because the staff are the kindest people.

Great place to stay in Langkawi at a reasonable price! The hotel has a great location, about 5-7 minutes walk from Cenang Beach. There are many cafes and restaurants nearby, but because it is located off the main street, the hotel is still quite. The staff and hotel host are friendly and helpful, always available to answer any questions.

It is difficult for taxi drivers to find a hotel location, as the closest road is closed. However, Grab delivery services still work well.

We originally booked for 2 nights and ended up staying for 8 nights. Great budget hotel with really good WiFi including Netflix. Basic comfortable room with refrigerator, good air conditioning and a fan above the bed. Good sized balcony/terrace with 2 chairs and a table. 5 mins walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. The owners, Azi and his wife where very helpful, and there is a filtered water machine next to reception so you can fill your water bottle.

Noisy roosters, even though they don't belong to the property, you can still hear them.

The room is spacious, the hotel itself is cute and very close to all the central spots in town. With a motorbike rental for a few days, you can zoom around everywhere within a 5 minute drive. The owners are very nice and responsive when messaging on Whatsapp.

Be prepared for mosquitoes to sneak in through the bathroom

Very spacious room, with all the facilities we could need such as air con, mini fridge, water station outside. Staff were very friendly and helpful, location was quiet and only a 5 minute walk to the beach.

Bathroom was a wet room so the floor did get soaked when you had a shower but nothing major you can’t deal with

For us Alpha Motel was exactly as expected from the description if not a little more friendly. Bonus are the friendly cats around the area. Getting to the beach and places to eat was just a small walk. You can use grab to order a ride somewhere or if you feel like having food delivered. Overall, if we return to this part of Langkawi, then we would book with Alpha Motel again. Thanks Alpha Motel for your friendliness.

Good location, close to the busy center!

Chickens outside the window will wake you up quite early! There were also mosquitoes, ants and little lizards coming from the outside into the bathroom, so keep the door closed.

Close to main strip, staff were very helpful. Clean and had clothes drying rack for wet stuff after the beach was a nice addition. quite location

Walk to the property was scary at night time, was dimly lit.
