Location was great. Only a couple blocks to the main square where most of the Day of Death activities took place. A lot of choices of restaurants. Service was amazing. The whole staff attended to our every need and Juan went above and beyond. The whole place was decorated beautifully, including our room, which we almost didn't want to leave. Fresh flowers in the room were a nice touch. Breakfast had nice choices and was served in beautiful bone china. Rooftop had a nice view of the city where we enjoyed our margaritas.

The only thing I would recommend is perhaps putting a kettle in the room, even better a Nespresso machine. I must say though the staff was happy to bring us hot water whenever we asked for it.

The staff and location were exceptional. Especially Juan, who performed diverse functions. Breakfast was very good and included a wide choice of standard-American-breakfast options. It was served in our room, but other options were to have it served in one of the salas or in the garden. Many of the rooms do include a private terrace. The photos of our room made the furniture look a bit dated, but we actually found it to be very nice. The architecture is Colonial, the furnishings are mostly European style with fine silk fabrics and high-quality bed linens, and breakfast was served on elegant English china.

The short street that runs in front of the hotel was not as quiet as I was led to believe by the owner. If you are a noise-phobe like me, I would suggest choosing a room that is not on the front side. That said, I have already rebooked for the same room on the front side.

This is beautiful, small, glorious hotel. The staff Juan and Monica could not do enough to make my stay perfect. Monica cooked a beautiful breakfast, served by Juan. The room was perfect and every detail thought for the guestscomfort. It’s close to the old city to walk or Uber, there are beautiful lounges, patios and areas to enjoy. I highly recommend

It was perfect

Breakfast we excellent and it was brought to our room each morning at the time we requested. Coffee was brought earlier as we requested. Staff very helpful and eager to make us comfortable. Bathroom had a stall shower and beautiful tile. Room was very large with a private terrace.

Furniture is colonial style. Some chairs and shades were a little worn. Will not appeal to guests who prefer a contemporary look.

The breakfast choices were very good and Monica, the cook, made them to order and perfection. Juan served them when and how we liked with freshly ironed linens and beautiful china. We like particularly strong coffee and they immediately brewed it to our liking. There are several incredible places, from rooftop terraces to elegant salons, to have your breakfast served.

The intimacy of the space, the garden, the service… You can eat your breakfast anywhere you want. I chose the garden area and everyday I was in solitude with hummingbirds and beautiful flowers. It felt like it was my private home. The flexibility of breakfast time was wonderful, from 8-12 and I could relax one day with late breakfast. There are decks that view the city and I took wonderful pictures of the town during sunset. The airport pickup was seamless and the correspondence with Richard was very timely and informative.

My room was a bit dark, but it was wonderfully decorated.

My room is pure luxury with a little backyard seating area, HUGE tub, firm bed and fireplace. They have so many seating areas on the property to relax, read or eat (including private roof). Staff goes above and beyond, including organizing someone to come give COVID tests if you are going back the the US. Only regret is I wish I had more nights here!

If you want to start the fireplace, I recommend having them show you or do it earlier in evening. Our night shift gentleman was new and wasn't sure how to start it (we got in very late so we understood!)

Staff was wonderful; breakfast was delicious and served on our patio every morning; location was perfect; bedroom and bathroom were very nice; I will return

Wonderful. We eat simple breakfasts eg. poached eggs, fruit, plain cereal etc. Everything was excellent quality and lovely service on our private terrace.

We were very pleased to have fresh fruit and excellent tea and coffee We sat at a table on the deck over looking the cathedral
