Hello world travelers. Since I arrived at the hostel, I have met very kind and respectful guests and staff. The bathrooms, for bathing, have hot water 24 hours a day and are very clean. The cleaning girls are very friendly and are cleaning all the time. Right here, you have laundry service at a very low cost. In addition, the kitchen is spacious and has a induction stove so you can save money on your food. The supermarkets are near. You have lockers, so you can store your belongings with a padlock. But what I liked the most, is that many of the guests, cleaning staff and reception staff shared their food with me, and with the foreigners you can go for a walk and have a friendly chat with them. By the way, if you work from home, don't worry, the internet has a very good signal. Regards travelers.

The hostel is located on a quiet street in the historic part of Monterrey. I really liked all of the character that the hallways and rooms had thanks to their age. My room was extremely clean with very comfortable bedding. The amenities were exactly as described. I was extremely impressed by hospitality of the staff. I arrived sick from the heatwave, and they were incredibly gracious and accommodating of me throughout my two night stay. Check in and check out was very easy. The AC is a wall unit and worked great even in the extreme heat. The common kitchen was very clean, spacious, and well maintained. I did not use it a lot due to being sick. The building and neighborhood were not 100% quiet but I had no issues sleeping. It was a lot better than other places I have stayed in other historic city centers.

I would have liked extra toilet paper in the room. The door lock was challenging for some reason.

it's almost impossible to beat a 10/10, but it happened! this year's hostel stay wasn't even nicer than last year. a warm receptionist named Johnathan checked me in. even though we shared the front room, he was barely in there, so the room felt like it was mine. 2 outlets are at every bunk. there is no key for the front door for added security, but a pin pad. it was also the first time i used the stove and i met a friend every there i was there. wifi was perfect. best hostel in monterrey, hands down.

i think cold mornings like this one i'm writing the review damper the hostel effect - as half the hostel is outdoors. but it's usually very nice outside.

We loved the location and that the room had AC. It was extremely hot, so the AC kept the room cooler. The facilities were good. The staff were all lovely and knowledgable.

Overall, the hostel was clean. However, our room could've been a little bit cleaner and there were some repairs that needed to be made.

Location is fantastic, close to transport, sights, bars and restaurants. The kitchen is good with plenty of space and utensils. Shared areas kept clean. Staff were friendly.

Very little interaction. No information on area or things happening that we might have been interested in

My stay at My Family In Monterey was fantastic! It is located in the perfect place downtown right in the heat of all the action and not far for a quick trip to the mountains. The facility is nice, it matches the photos. What I really enjoyed though was the people! The staff are all friendly and fun and I got to meet so many interesting travellers who came from all over the world and all had their own fascinating story to learn about.

best hostel in monterrey, comfy beds, i'm on the top bunk right now and i feel secure and well semi at home with my roomies. location to the metro is absolutely insanely close. you cannot beat that distance. oxxo only a 2 minute walk away. quick 30 minute trips to the airport

well, this is the first hostel i've shared with other genders. it kind of freaks you out at night when all of a sudden you see two girls in the bunk next to you. but it's all pleasantries and nice here. i'm just new to the hostel scene. hostel stayers will love this place.

The employee helped me really good when I wanted to find a grocery store and later on found out I lost my laptop. The vibe of the place is really nice and the people staying there were also lovely!

The employee that was there the night I arrived didn’t speak any English so that made it a bit hard to communicatie about my room, but in the end we worked it out :))

It placed in very good location. All the staffs were friendly. well prepared and clean kitchen. You can use hot water anytime. considering the price I can say It’s kinda perfect hostel in Monterrey.

I stayed in room for 4 person. The beds in there are two story bed. but the gap between top bed and bottom one is too close so I kept bumping my head. I know they can’t change but if you are over 6ft, consider using second floor bed.

I liked how the beds were they were bunks and single beds. The rooms were clean It was skittle better than I expected base on the prices.

The fact that a couldn't cook for myself I would have to eat what they cook or buy from them So I opted for an Airbnb instead.
