Definitely recommend this place with access right to the Lagoon and completely surrounded by the nature. The hotel has his own pier on the lagoon with swings and hammocks and sun beds. We stayed there just 3 nights but if we knew before we would definitely have stayed more because of the peace of mind and the quite atmosphere. Both sunrise and sunset moments were magical. The staff was very kind and offered plenty of activities to explore Bacalar, like the boat tour. Special thank to Benjamin who took care of us for the entire stay with tips and food, adding extra value to our stay. Last but not least breakfast was very good for the price.

The staff here are such kind and lovely people - thank you for treating us so wonderfully. the rooms are very spacious and a cool design. the terrace with the hammock was great. breakfast was light but perfect for us and nice and fresh. the grounds are very well kept and it was great to use the kayaks and stand up paddle board. the hotel is also very peaceful and relaxing

The room could have had a fridge. and whilst it didn’t bother us, you are about a 7 minute drive from the main town so keep that in mind if you don’t have a car or want to have some drinks.

just some recommendations to improve : breakfast is too small and no choice no natural yogurt and a few toast with margarine and marmelade clean sheets means spotless however no stains at all that is it hoe it is supposed to be water should be given in closed sealed bottles with a date otherwise not safe for gringos so even eco doesn’t matter ( for health inspection is it not correct)

The staff were super friendly and were quick to respond to the WhatsApp concierge service when we needed a taxi in the evening to Bacalar which was a short ride away. The lakeside location was superb, a couple of sun beds on the deck would have made it perfect and we loved the free kayaks!

The room was shall we say ‘minimalist’ and there were no seats or hammock on the rooftop terrace so we couldn’t use this.

I like everything in this place !!!! Staff incredibly helpful ( Vanessa administrator was always easy to ask anything via watsap , if I need taxi , or some tips about places , Actually all my extra needs was solved easy ) , I like atmosphere easy going staff , chef on kitchen cook your food with classic music , Massage Master Chantall is Very good , she have different skills and good attitude and energy , I get massage from her gold hands every day during my stay , I want to say BIG THANKS FOR EVERYTHING, U ARE GUYS MADE MY VACATION JUST PERFECT, Bacalar is fantastic place , IF I BACK TO THIS MAGIC LAGOON, I WILL STAY DEFINITELY AGAIN HERE !!!! 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤

Super nice hotel at Lake Bacalar. They have SUPs and kayak that can be used for free. Very good tips from thw staff where to go in Bacalar. And having their whatsapp concierge is super handy to get questions answered quickly

We had a room next to a sewage outlet and from time to time a bad smell could be detected sitting on the terrasse.

The value for money is really good - installations are very beautiful and well kept, the swimming pool is really nice. Having a restaurant is very convenient, food is good quality. Alba and Amy were wonderful people, kind and attentive. Rooms are very clean. The dock is beautifully lit, and has hammocks (I wish they also had beach chairs over there).

Breakfast is only fruit and bread. I would not consider this as a substitute for a full breakfast. It was disappointing. Also, one of the days, the owner brought her four kids to the pool, which I considered unprofessional - hopefully this doesn't happen frequently if they have guests.

Superb location with great staff. Felt like home. Great view of the lagoon, nice restaurant and around 8 minutes away driving from the city centre. Staff accomodate us being with a little one, and was very helpful and nice.

Stylish minimalistic room, very clean. Really good smelling shower gel and shampoo. Someone was cleaning something at the property all the time so it was always in top form. The restaurant is very good! The included breakfast was a small portion of fruits with granola and toast. For additional price we could order more eggs, pancakes etc. Super nice staff. The lake is beautiful and calming.

We absolutely loved the houses at Mi Kasa Tu Kasa. We had so much space, it was very clean and the aesthetics where very nice. The breakfast was sufficient, and you can order more for very fair price. The kayaks and subs are free to use for the guests. The staff was kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Everything was perfect, but they did not have baby beds available. The staff was very friendly and looked for a sollution, but there wasn’t any and our child ended up sleeping in the closet :)
