Situated just a 2-minute walk away from the stunning beach, it offers the perfect escape for beach lovers. What's more, being directly located in the vibrant 5th Avenue, with its array of bars and restaurants, made it an absolute joy to explore the heart of Playa del Carmen. The room at Casa Ticul provided ample space and comfort, ensuring a relaxing stay. It was the ideal retreat after a day of exploration and adventure in the area. However, what truly sets this place apart is its exceptional staff. The team's professionalism, friendliness, and unwavering support left a lasting impression on me. One individual who stood out was Florencia. Her in-depth knowledge of the area and genuine warmth made her the perfect guide and host at Casa Ticul. the location is amazing! walk minutes from everything

The shower was poor and the rooms close to the reception are super noisy.

Nice pool and breakfast. The room was comfortable. The AC worked perfectly. The mini fridge was a nice touch.

DO NOT BOOK THROUGH B00KlNG. I booked a two bed room in April with confirmed availability, and when I arrived to the property in June, apparently they gave away my room to someone else and I was only left with one double bed room. Also, too many stairs to go for breakfast, not recommended for the elderly.

I love the location, which is near the beach. It’s also very central and near some wonderful restaurants. Great value for the money. I would definitely stay there again.

There was a little bit of noise from the common area, because my room was right by the reception, near the pool. I used ear buds and slept quite well. Since I am mostly vegan, I paid extra for breakfast.

Everything was wonderful, the people who attended the hostel were super friendly, the service girls concerned about our things, everything was clean and tidy, we had 3 great bathrooms with hot and cold water, comfortable beds, location super close to the trade, it is on the 5th avenue, full of restaurants, and a cool atmosphere, near the bodeguita (place where tours of xcaret, xoximilco, xplor, etc. always leave), when we were leaving they gave us a refund that you must leave as a deposit in case of damage, and we They stored our bags while we did our tour. It was very cool, recommended.

It was nice, but for the money I paid maybe could have been better.

The cleaning wasn’t that good. There were some flower leafs all over the bathroom floor. You had to wait really long time before hot water in the shower. I had a huge suitcase and there were two really steep stairs to get to the room. I was not offered any help by the staff even when they saw me struggling.

Great customer service and price. Breakfast is a simple meal. Eggs toast juice or tea. It was enough to start the day. Room with comfortable bed. Location is perfect. Right on quinta ave. If you go on tours, the pick up spot for the tours is like 5 minutes walking. Safe spot. And slot of things to see.

In the beginning there was no hit water and the room had a strong and very bad smell. Also the TV was not even working. Other than that everything was good.

Great place in a great zone. Not fancy but comfortable. No regrets in staying there.

Maybe a downside could be that their is a lot of stairs, so this must be considered if your are elder or have trouble with using stairs.

I had a great stay beds were very comfortable. I stayed one night then booked an additional night. Very good for the price. Right on 5th and 38th. Best location in town. Friendly staff. Alma requested I leave a review.

The staff was absolutely GREAT! Friendly, helpful , and professional. We had fillings like we are Casa Ticul family members! The location is one of the BEST in Playa del Carmen!
