The staff, every single member of staff were so friendly. helpful wouldn't be the right term. the staff could not do enough for you. absolutely nothing was too much of an ask. the staff were so jolly. so well spoken in spanish and english. so lovely, sweet and so polite. they made the entire experience for us. every single meal we had from the buffet was delightful, cannot complain. fresh and juicy fruit and veg. english/american classic breakfast, as well as what most people would eat at lunch time. endless choice of cuisine. you have the coffee and snack bar, the food here changes daily. Every snack I saw was decorated and presented to perfection. The ice cream was so creamy fresh fruity and delicious. The restaurants weren’t my favourite, but cannot complain. I just preferred the mixed buffet to chose what I liked. Every bar we went to, inside, the pool. Even room service, the service is outstanding. You can order as much as you like, the drinks are made and served pronto. Every cocktail was made fresh in front of me, the drinks were consistently great. If I had endless money, I would tip every member of staff I had met, a significant and life changing amount. I only wish the members of staff were paid extremely well and were really looked after. Carlos at breakfast was a favourite of ours, as well as Marissa. I’m sure there are many staff members in the buffet area with the same name. Jacob was another member of staff, at the grill restaurant on an evening, as well as breakfast. Beautiful people, the loveliest, warm and kind people who go absolutely above and beyond. Cannot recommend enough.

Not enough seating around the pool, other guests reserving chairs early in the morning and disappearing throughout the day. Beach behind resort is dirty

Location was the best part, everything was walking distance. The room service after a night out on the town was even more clutch. I would consider this to be very similar to a luxury cruise experience without the motion sickness. The best part was no kids running around screaming and splashing in the pools.

The brasa restaurant was a little underwhelming. The food was very bland and the pairings just didn't make sense. The food everywhere else was very delicious especially for a all inclusive resort.

Pros: Our stay at the Wyndham was amazing. The customer service was top notch. Erica at the coffee and dessert Cafe was our favorite person!!!! She has a very sweet bubbly personality. Our room was absolutely beautiful. It had a great view of the pool and some of the oceanfront, and the room location was great for watching nightly entertainment. The food (breakfast lunch and dinner) was delicious.

Cons: There was sooo much seaweed on the beach that you couldn't even get in the water. The smell of the seaweed was overwhelming throughout the entire resort. It was AWFUL!!!!!! We literally slept with our heads under the covers because we would wake up gaging if we didn't. When it rained the smell would go away, but then it comes right back after 45 minutes. The other con is that the alcohol beverages were more like virgin beverages, very watered down.

The food was incredible, even the buffet was delicious. The room was big and also so beautiful and the bed was very big and very comfortable. All the staff at this hotel are so friendly and genuinely amazing.

They need to start cutting people off who have had way too much to drink, but they just keep serving them more 🤦 we even witnessed a fist fight at the bar downstairs. We saw many people who could not even walk in a straight line and serious slurred speech but yet they continued to be served more booze.

Room was excellent (397). Great view of ocean and pool. Mexican and Italian restaurants how fantastic food and surprisingly great service. I mean really good service. Antonio at the Italian restaurant was particularly impressive. Mexican restaurant hand a homemade shot that was delicious as well. Front door and front desk staff were very friendly and attentive. Breakfast buffet was the best. Walking distance to restaurants, shops and clubs was extremely minimal. I mean 2 to 8 blocks and you could experience almost anything. at least what I paid for, all liquor was included.

If you can for THE BEACH, this is not the spot. I am not a lay out on the beach person so it did not detract my experience. Essentially no water entry spots. While the service staff in the hotel itself were good, not great, the bartenders (especially at the lobby bar) were not friendly. I specifically bring hundreds of $1 bills to tip all-inclusive employees. Even being one of the few that tipped generally brought a smile.

I loved everything about this smaller resort. The staff were beyond amazing! while sitting at the pool you have 3-4 waiters running around getting you drinks constantly. the entertainment staff are so much fun! always something to do. The food was great, lots of selection at buffet. The Italian a la carte was my favorite. Just make the reservations for dinner each night on your first day and you will be set up. No people at all heckling you with any sales pitch which i appreciate as some resorts can be too much. the ocean view room is worth the upgrade we only paid an extra $120 for 4 nights for ocean view. The resort is a block from fifth avenue where you have all the shopping and restaurants and can be alot of fun! very safe anytime of day. I would love to come back to this place!

there is little to no beach. if you want to hear the ocean fine, but you cannot swim there. if you walk a little to the "north beach" it is more swimmable but still pretty rocky. I wouldnt come here if beach was number 1 on my list. if you want exceptional service, this is your place.

This was a smaller resort! Perfect for a short getaway. The food was spectacular, better quality than your average all-inclusive. Because they are smaller, they don’t have as many amenities or entertainment. However, their pools are accesible and always clean. They have many good options for it to be such a small resort. I would say the best part is that the staff isn’t pushy in trying to sell you extras, they are very attentive and hospitable. The location is everything, if you are looking to be near 5th avenue and the public beaches, this is the place! For an adults-only, I give it a 8/10!!

There could’ve been more entertainment, like a pool table or somewhere to play cards…ways to connect with others at the resort!

The staff was amazing! Such wonderful, helpful, friendly, hard working people. I want to especially thank Francisco from the front desk reception area. What a wonderful gentleman!
