Hotel Aragana has really upgraded from the last time I stayed there. The staff from reception Aziz Mariam Karina to Omar and Bounaam who helped us with our cases to our room. A special thank you to our housekeeper Samira who kept not only our room but the floor 2 exceptionally clean. Nothing she wouldn’t do for you. She always had a lovely design on our beds and fresh clean towels when ever we needed. She washed our pjs and had them out drying when we came back from shopping. We were in a double family room with a view of the pool and were able to watch the night time enterminent from our balcony. The amanation team had everyone up doing all there daily programs. There was water sports table tennis basket ball aerobics in the pool and dance classes which you could participate each night. Children were very well looked after at all times. Breakfast was lovely with inlets and flat bread and pancakes. The pool said bar served wonderful food and drinks at a very reasonable price. Lunch for 5 with drinks never went over €25. They had a man taking photos of all the activities including just sun bathing. There was always plenty of sun loungers at any time of day. Mohammed in the pool bar was always very attentive to all the guests needs. Return taxi to and from the airport were arranged inadvance which was great. All hotel staff do there job in a professional way that could not be faulted. Restoration work was going on at the time of our stay but did not interfere with our stay. The internet was not strong in the bedrooms and should think of putting modems in each room or at least in the corridors

Cleaner on first floor (I think her name is Fatima) - room cleaned everyday and she did an excellent job - she was also a very kind nice person. The pool area is very busy with plenty of activities and music throughout the day and night despite this you were always able to get a sun lounger. Every employee was pleasant - from security on the door to the girl that patiently served us at the pool bar always with a pleasant smile and of course Samek (?) was great fun In the evening. We paid for breakfast only so I can't comment on lunch and dinner but I thought there was plenty of variety - Pancakes, fresh fruit and omelettes were all lovely. 10 min walk to the beach area where there are a few very nice restaurants. Some earlier reviews mentioned building works - this has obviously stopped for the summer period as there was no drilling banging etc while we were there. There was some painting and some work being done on an outdoor building but unobtrusive and not noisy. It was the first time experiencing Agadir, I travelled with my husband and two sons (12 & 18) and also extended family- we booked two family suites - everyone said it was the best holiday in years - praise indeed! We will definitely be back to Agadir and stay in the Hotel Argana.

The hotel is not 4 star by Irish standards but it was very clean and everything worked well (air-conditioning warm showers etc.) - yes some of the towels were grey but changed everyday and spotless - I really don't understand the harsh reviews. As mentioned, breakfast was lovely but can be chaotic after 9am - we found the best time to go was about 8.30am. Lunch menu at the pool bar was basic but tasty we found that alchohol is actually more expensive than food in general. WiFi is not great - very slow in the hotel room but better around lobby and pool - I was delighted to see that the kids were not stuck to their phones. It is very much a tipping culture - we paid on average 10% and this seemed to be sufficient - at the end of the day it's not a huge amount to pay out

property was good housekeeping was excellent she cleaned our room every time we needed it and she did a brilliant job. good selection of buffet style breakfast.

some of the amenities didn’t work for n some roomS ie air con, toilet and fridge and last 2 days Wi-Fi in the rooms as we had 3 rooms was down.One of the pool attendants (bald older guy) was very rude and prevented my girls from going into pool wearing modest swim wear where’s he didn’t stop other ppl who waded into pool wearing t shirts on top of their swim wear so the girls didn’t try going back in after being told to get out of pool so it became hard for us to entertain our little one who wanted to play in pool n couldn’t as no one to go in with him.

Workers are the best! Everything is done with a smile. Even when you have a problem, they will get on it to fix it. Pool is good, for someone little cold, but perfect to cold you from outside heat. Breakfast is great. Traditional Marrocan food. Price is very good. Location not the best, but ok.

Glasses, plates etc. should be washed properly. Every time when I'm taking new plate, I have to look if there are some muds. Hotel itself is in some kind of construction and many things needs to be repaired. Dinner is many times massed up. I suggest to eat in some restaurants instead in hotel.

Great atmosphere and activities by the pool. Staff friendly and helpful. Atm at the hotel, handy for getting local currency.

Wi-Fi very poor in hotel. Was a long enough walk back from beach and especially at night if you were at a restaurant on the promenade.

the location is excellent. the pool is big, the bar is nice place to stay and has a good activities, breakfast is excellent, plenty of food to choose. staff are friendly

the bed is uncomfortable. we requested double bed, but the one in the room is two single bed that pushed together, the electricity in the room keeps tripping off and needed to reset every now and then.

We went all inclusive the food was fresh and delicious lots of options and different everyday. The staff very nice from reception to entertainment and cleaners and waiters & waitresses all lovely My 6 year old loved the kids club and kids discos The spa was also amazing had the best massage and facial

We were all inclusive but didn’t include soft drinks at lunch or dinner we were not allowed to even take water to have with our meal so that worked out expensive The entertainment could be better for adults and the swimming pool was very cold it would have been nice if it was heated for the colder months The area for entertainment was next to the pool which I felt was not safe for young children

So my holiday is 12 days I booked ARAGNA HOTEL for the first 6 days and I was planning to move to different hotel for my other half of my holiday but I decided to stay here so I booked my other 6 days here Because Everything is the way it should be 😍 From the moment you get to the hotel until you leave Everyone is welcoming us with a lovely smiles Food is absolutely delicious breakfast is always fresh and delicious lunch is always great no doubt Dinner is always different they have everything you need all different styles of food especially tajen😍 beds are very comfortable shower is very good 👍🏽 service is always in time so the room is always very clean with very nice smells The sun shines is always shining at the swimming pools area with all different all day activities Then night time activities with all different and nice music and Dance And I mean (bouzaine)is really good at it So that was my review for only 6 days I’m sure I’ll be back with more beautiful words for this beautiful hotel And my next holiday to Agadir I’m 💯 sure I’ll book ARGANA HOTEL for my stay 😍 Thank you very much guys for welcoming us

THE HOTEL COULD DO WITH A REFURB THE ROOMS ARE CLEANED ON A DAILY BASES BREAKFAST IS AN ADVENTURE HOT AN COLD OFFERINGS BUT PLENT OF EACH I WAS NOT IMPRESSED WITH THE LOCATION AS IT DID STATE THAT IT WAS A 5 MINUTE WALK TO THE BEACH BUT AT LEAST 15 MINUTES AT A GOOD WALKING PAICE

THE WIFI WAS NOT UP TO SPEED VERY HIT AN MISS NONE TO POOR SPEED THE DISTANCE FROM THE BEACH WAS MISS LEADING THE AREA SURROUNDING THE HOTEL WAS VERY RUN DOWN

Very nice hotel, is the second time we stayed here. The room was big enough for our family and had a nice balcony with a swimming pool and seaside view. The room was cleaned and tidied every day, and we always had clean towels. We were provided with a cot for our baby when we requested it. There was a full buffet breakfast included in our stay. The food was fresh and there was plenty of choice of food and it was very delicious. All the staff members treated us very well and helped us with our baby. Special thanks to Abdul from the restaurant and Fatima from animation. They went above and beyond to make us feel great on our holiday. Very friendly and helpful.

The WiFi connection was very poor and had hardly any reception in the room. Had to use the phone on the balcony.
