The hotel is a welcome oasis in the hustle and bustle of central Marrakesh. The hotel oozes old world charm and class. A very understated entrance in a slightly nondescript streeet and then you step through the doors to calm cool tranquillity. If you want to have the most central location in Marrakesh where you can walk to everything this is the spot. It has been some time since I have left a hotel with not one thought on where they could improve - a flawless experience from start to finish with staff who care about every aspect of a guest's experience. The food was excellent with Bala (Indian restaurant) top of our list - we loved the roof top pool and sky bar - with amazing views and fantastic attentive staff. Thank you for a memorable stay in Marrakesh.

Location, character, staff and service all superb. This is THE place to stay when visiting Marrakech! Literally, only a few mins walk to the Koutoubia Mosque, the main city square and market place, and of course the souks. Hotel pool was quiet and tranquil, the food, beer and cocktails excellent!

Poor variety for breakfast. Not a five star hotel but 4.5, a bit tired in places. Fabulous location, super family room with interconnecting balcony more than made up for it. Very reasonable room rate.

Loved the pools, the restaurant upstairs has delicious Indian food.

The section where I stayed felt a little far and i had to go through too many stairs every time i exited or entered the hotel (im 6 month pregnant) and that was a bit uncomfortable.

Brilliant central location, but peaceful within the hotel. Really good facilities, restaurants and bars. Friendly and helpful staff, nearly all of whom spoke good or decent English. Very happy to have returned to this hotel.

Great swimming pool but unheated (February). Some public areas need maintenance. A better map of the layout of the central and souk areas identifying key sites and restaurants.

Very well located hotel within the historic Medina area that allowed for easy access to the souq, restaurants and historic sights. The hotel is a relaxing oasis in the midst of the bustle of the busy market area. It has a great swimming pool, gardens and common areas. The rooms are traditional in style, clean and well serviced. Overall good value for money and we are glad we chose to stay here versus one of the brand named hotel chains.

Breakfast options would benefit from including a wider selection of cooked dishes, eg. scrambled or poached eggs. In general the coffee scene in the Medina, and Morocco in general, is of very high quality and the hotel is a bit behind the game.

We arranged a city guide through the hotel. The guide was very disappointing. He was not saying much about the city and did not interact much. He made us pay double prices for the visit of the Quran school. It is clear that his main goal was to earn commission on our purchases. Be careful when entering a 'pharmacy' with guys in white jackets. They are trying to scam you. Make sure to ask prices before they place products in your basket. I had hoped that this quality hotel would work with genuine city guides.

I will be booking this place whenever I am back in Marrakech, The location is perfect, right next to medina and Hotel has parking facilities. You can leave your car there and walk anywhere in the souk. Rooms are big, beautiful and clean. Big comfy bed. Swimming pools are great and breakfast is delicious. Room is full of plugs everywhere to charge your devices, and has USBs next to bed. The interior of the hotel is beautiful.

This hotel is exceptional. It is perfectly located just inside the Medina walls yet easy to locate, with taxis able to drop you to the door, unlike many of the Riads which are deep inside the labyrinth of pedestrian streets. It is an oasis of calm and luxury with professional, friendly, and helpful staff. The decor and internal courtyards filled with lush planting, give an authentic Moroccan feel. There are 3 restaurants and 2 large swimming pools. The hotel is so beautiful with all the facilities that you expect of a 5-star hotel that you could happily not leave it. Once outside, you are in the mayhem of the Medina. I had stayed at this hotel 14 years ago and decided to return for my 60th Birthday. I booked a Junior Suite but on arrival was upgraded to the Royal Suite. This suite was spectacular both in terms of size and decor. In addition, the hotel very thoughtfully made a beautiful Birthday cake for me on my special day. I cannot thank the staff enough for making my stay so memorable.

I can find no fault with this hotel.
