This was a lovely place to stay for a solo travel trip. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and offered me any help I needed in Marrakech. Beautiful rooms and very clean, has everything I needed. The highlight of this riad is the amazing location just 2 min walk off Jemma el fenna (main square) on a safe street that I always felt safe walking home in the evening. The rooftop terrace we amazing to chill out during the day or see the action from the night on the main square. Breakfast was also delicious, and when I said I didn’t eat eggs they made me some other pancake options that were perfect. I stayed in a superior room on the 1st floor which was perfect and I’m sure the upper rooms are even better. Would also recommend using their airport pickup service as I was met from the taxi and walked to the riad. I have visited Marrakesh 5 times before and this was the best riad I stayed in. Thanks to the whole team in particular Simo.

Nothing was great

The room was super comfortable—quiet, dark, and clean, providing some of the best nights' sleep we’ve had. Breakfast was plentiful and filling, with the omelette topped with plain yoghurt being a standout. The hammam and massage were excellent, with very attentive staff, but a cool drink post-hammam for hydration would have been a nice addition. The reception staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay, and the location was excellent for exploring the area. The beautiful perfume smells throughout the riad and rooms added a lovely touch. Overall, while we’d recommend Riad Art and Emotions for a comfortable stay, we’re unsure if we’d return ourselves. It’s a good option, but not quite the luxurious experience some might expect.

A fresh, large bottle of water in the room each day would have been a thoughtful touch. Some fixtures and fittings could use upgrading. We also assumed there would be full terrace service, but shisha and alcohol were not available—a misunderstanding on our part, but something to watch for in the fine print.

Hotel was clean and smelt amazing and was cleaned everyday. The staff were so friendly and the breakfast and mint tea was so good! Location was excellent, and was literally a 1 min walk to the medina and close by to other areas such as the souks etc. The manager had greeted us and gave us useful information and as per his recommendations we had visited the Mellah and got great spices/ better prices in that area which were not over hyped like the usual tourist places. So thank you!!

The only issue was the luggage and the medina being close from 1pm, so we had to drag our suitcases to the end of the medina for the taxi as they are not able to enter the medina after 1pm

Great location, lovely staff who were happy to help with anything (food recommendations, takeaway breakfast early, printing boarding passes etc), very clean, great breakfast, daily housekeeping, nice outdoor spaces with two level roof terrace, good option of dinner in the riad.

City tax payment at checkout which caught us out, as well as being charged for the bottle of water that was pointed out to us when shown round the room. If arriving from early afternoon a taxi can’t get close to the riad too which wasn’t known to us until we got dropped a 10 minute walk away, so have a simcard/esim ready to use directions!

Superb location. Just metres from the main square. The room was mostly excellent, large, comfy bed, excellent shower, good Aircon. The staff were lovely, particularly the breakfast guy.

There was no wardrobe in the room. The pools are both tiny, much smaller than they appear in the pictures, and really cold. It has no alcohol license, so in theory you cannot even buy alcohol and drink it privately in the room.

The Manager and all of the staff were exceptional, so warm, hospitable, welcoming and made my stay in Marrakesh unforgettable. Nothing was too much trouble including the day I had to stay in bed with a cold, they looked after me by getting me cough medicine and beautiful homemade soup. The food from their amazing cook was outstanding, the samosa style beef and the Chicken Pastilla pie (a must try) was unforgettable. Some of the best food from my 3 weeks in Morocco. Location is fantastic, so central to the square. Thank you for a fabulous stay.

This was our first trip to Marrakech and we were happily surprised by the warm welcome and the super relaxed vibe in the riad. The city is a buzzing place, the riad offered us a place to chill down. A true gem with beautiful rooftops and swimmingpools, clean and airy rooms, beautiful details and a pleasant smell of orangeblossom through the whole riad. The location is great, next to the great square, which makes it easy to hop in and out during the day. The thing we loved most about the riad was the staff, we were warmly welcomed by Soufian, he told us about the city and all the things we needed to know. During the days he made some time to check in with us and to have a chat and tell us about the history and culture of Marrakech. We learned a lot! Many thanks and we hope to come back some day.

The location of this Riad alone was just absolutely brilliant. It was right within the main square, but just far enough out that you felt safe in the evenings. Our room was gorgeous, and was cleaned everyday. The staff were so lovely and accommodating. The water in the shower was piping hot, which was perfect for us as we love a good hot shower. The Riad was very safe, we felt very safe in it and that our belongings were safe also. There is a hairdryer in the room and a safe, and there is shampoo, soap, clean towels everyday. The area where you have breakfast is breath-taking, it looks over the main square and we went up in the evenings to watch the sunset. For the location alone, I would highly recommend this Riad. We only took a taxi to and from the airport, everything else was within walking distance.

To be expected in a Riad, but bring earplugs with you if you are a light sleeper. It sounded like the people in the room beside us were actually inside our room. As its a Riad, its an old building and its beautiful but it is in no way sound proof, and you can hear people chatting at reception and we were on the top floor. I think we were very lucky that no one staying in the Riad was coming in late/ making too much noise while we were there so it wasn't an issue really for us, but if you are booking just be aware that the sound travels I think as well because it bounces off the internal pools in each courtyard as well. Bring earplugs and you will be fine!

We stayed here 3 nights for our Anniversary Holiday and we couldn't be happier! We loved the accommodation! The staff was very friendly and helpful, they offered us a lot of information and tips & tricks for the Medina. The rooms are cleaned everyday and they even made a special decoration for our anniversary upon arrival which was very nice. The breakfast was included in the price and was very good and tasty (the food was great in general; I really reccomend the Beef Tajin with Apricots and Prunes and the Morrocan Salad). We also tried the Spa Facilities (Hammam & Massage) and it was very relaxing. The view from the rooftop is incredible and the overall aesthetic of the Riad is amazing! Great value for price! Thank you so much for everything!
