Close to the sea. Great rooftop area for chilling out, also the sun terrace on the 2nd floor. Great view from our balcony out towards the beach

We booked a double room with en suite and sea view, although the room was clean and tidy it was lacking space to put suitcases so we didn’t unpack our the clothes the whole time we were there. Other than that can’t fault it

The location is great, right in front of the beach with direct ocean view. The decoration and the vibe is pretty nice as well. Everything was very clean (both bedroom and private bathroom). To sleep hearing the sound of the waves is pretty awesome.

Since we booked the room with the private bathroom, we were expecting a bedroom with ocean view (because our reservation was significantly more expensive) and that did not happen, so there was no natural light in our room, which was disappointing. The bathroom was pretty small and not very convenient to get the towels inside without getting them wet. Other than that, it was a great experience and would be a 10 review if we had stayed in a room with ocean view and natural light.

The staff has been 100% at our side since before the trip, fixing transfer that could load our 250cm surfboardbag. It is a hotel in a small fishermansvillage that happens to have some of Moroccos best surfwaves. You have to like adventures, small alleys, a life thats partly different from the one at home. If you just love to make new friends and see new things then Morocco and Taghazout will be a perfect spot and L Auberge will be a perfect place to stay. Right at the beach in the middle of the town. Lots of restaurants within minutes and the Panoramabeach close enough for a morning walk with your surfgear. Sppeking of surfgear you can store in in the reception and there is also space for your wetsuits. The staff kindly helped us store our big boardbag in a storage room during our stay. We have not decided where the next surftrip will head but maybe Taghazout and in that case definitely L Auberge :-)

The bathroom is really small, its convenient with an own shower but the floor in the bathroom gets kinda flooded. There is however a shared shower that also can be used

I had the most wonderful experience staying at L'Auberge Taghazout! The location truly could not be more perfect — right in the heart of the charming village, with stunning views and easy access to everything Taghazout has to offer. Whether you're looking to surf, explore local cafes, or just relax by the beach, everything is within walking distance, making it the ideal base for any kind of adventure. What really set this place apart, though, was the incredible staff. I can't speak highly enough of Zak, who went above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable. As a solo traveler, I was initially a bit nervous, but Zak made me feel completely at ease. He was always available, offering insightful recommendations about the best spots in Taghazout — whether it was finding good spots for the sunsent, exploring hidden gems in the area, or just pointing me to the best places to enjoy local food. His knowledge of the area and passion for sharing it made my stay so much more enriching and fun!! Zak was not just helpful, but genuinely kind and welcoming, which made all the difference in how comfortable and safe I felt throughout my trip. His personal touch really set the tone for my entire stay — it was like having a local friend looking out for you! I can't recommend L'Auberge Taghazout enough! From the prime location to the exceptional service, this place is perfect for anyone looking to experience the best of Taghazout. If you're traveling solo, like I was, or with friends, it's a fantastic choice. I’ll definitely be back!

It’s was so comfortable and the best location in Taghazout for sure, the view from my bedroom was incredible with a sun lounge terrace outside. But most importantly this has to be said the guy running the property ZAK was just an incredible human being who help me from Start to finish he is an absolute gem of a guy and was always asking if everything was ok and helping within minutes of texting him Probably the best I have had to deal with regarding hosts. Zak keep doing what you are doing you are a shining light 🙌🙌🙌 Chokran for everything and I hope to see you again soon Take care brother ❤️❤️

Great location at seafront. Great experience to wake up to the sound of ocean and view of ocean from the room. Great water pressure.

Room is way smaller than the picture/ we expected larger tbh. (We could have avoided that if mention the size of room). Glass door is good with a view to Ocean but it’s right up to the hall way and terrace so not much privacy to yourself as people can see through the room when you left your curtain/ door open to enjoy the view. Not soundproof. Can hear people talking from terrace at night. Didn’t sleep well first night but slept really well second night after surfing lesson. There’s no shampoo or body gel provided so make sure you bring your own.

A very friendly and welcoming hotel on the beach in the heart of Taghazout. We had a beautiful view of the beach from the balcony outside our room, great for sunbathing and relaxing and watching the sunset. There's a chill area on the top floor where you can relax, drink coffee and meet up with friends and family. The people who run the hotel are friendly and helpful - we rented surf gear from the hotel and they organised a taxi to Agadir for us. I would highly recommend - we had such a lovely stay.

Great location on the beach with a view across the bay and very near all the cafes and restaurants. We visited during an extraordinary heatwave and while the property doesn’t have AC, the staff helped get fans for us and were so helpful in lots of other ways - arranging taxis and surf lessons and arranging a room swap . This is one of the first guesthouses in Taghazout and it still had one of the best spacious and comfortable rooftop terraces for relaxing . There is a fridge for guests so you can cool your drinks and it is kept super clean and tidy. You can hang up towels and clothes to dry on the terrace and it has a very relaxed and friendly feel . A big thank you to Abdelhadi, Zakaria and Mohammed who were running the place during our visit . Sone of the rooms look to have been refurbished recently with colourful tiles and decent showers .

It is near the fish market where fish is brought in every day which is great to see but as we had temperatures up to 50 Celsius , there was sometimes quite a smell from there . There was also nightly partying and drumming on the beach due to August being Moroccan summer holiday - atmospheric but loud ! Clearly none of these are in the control of the property and probably wouldn’t be an issue at other times of year .

We had such a lovely stay here, a family group we had a nice clean apartment with 2 bedrooms, right on n the beachfront in amongst all the lovely places to eat and drink, surfing. The staff were super helpful, helping us with our journeys, planning days out, taxis, we loved the roof terrace for lazing, reading books and watching the fishermen and bustle of this gorgeous village. I can’t recommend a visit highly enough, for myself and my teenage-young adult children it was perfect.

The place has the best view on the ocean; you can hear the sound of the waves at night and it’s really nice. Thanks to this proximity, customers can easily rent their surf boards and wet suits and change inside the rooms. Also, the place is fantastic to meet people and the vibe was perfect. Strongly recommend overall
