Reflecting on my stay in Kathmandu, I can confidently assert that if I were to revisit the city, selecting this hotel would be a definite choice. To kick things off, the hotel's proximity to key attractions, just a short 15-minute walk from the Kathmandu Durbar Square, adds a distinct advantage. The rooms themselves are adorned with charming Nepalese decor and come complete with modern amenities like air conditioning. A thoughtful perk is the complimentary breakfast stocked with an array of beverages, including water, juices, and soft drinks—truly a gesture that goes a long way. The breakfast spread, while not vast in selection, truly excels in terms of quality, which, in my opinion, makes it a perfect choice. The hotel staff, ever eager to ensure a memorable experience, stands out in their warmth and hospitality. There are a few individuals whose exceptional friendliness truly stood out. I vividly recall Narayan from the team, as well as his female counterpart, whose name escapes me. She diligently served throughout the week, shining particularly bright on the weekends. Additionally, I want to acknowledge Sita from the front desk, whose name might not be perfectly spelled here, but whose helpfulness left a lasting impression. A noteworthy incident occurred when I unintentionally left the room service indicator unchanged, resulting in the room not being serviced. It was my oversight, yet the night staff, including a male colleague whose name remains a mystery to me, promptly furnished us with fresh towels, water, and all that we needed. Overall, the entire staff exuded a kindness that significantly elevated the hotel's atmosphere.

Nothing noticeable.

Everything about our experience was fantastic. Narayan, the manager, assisted us with ensuring we had reservations for Zip fly at Nagarkot and that we had opportunity to do other activities around the Kathmandu should we like; Bibek the receptionist was extremely helpful in providing us to the details about the property and the surroundings and taking care of any small needs we had (i.e. a cab to Boudha). Additionally, Suman at the restaurant was fantastic - He kept us laughing and suggesting good dishes. At the garden - the main attractive spot where we ate breakfast every day and lunch most days, Anoj, Suman, and Pratikshya were most hospitable and always remembered the small details - like that I work with hospitalized children. And those are just the names I remember! Overall, aside from the views, the staff was the highlight for me. 10/10 would recommend, and would definitely return!

Do not book this hotel if you do not want to climb stairs, they lack an elevator!

We stayed here for the first time, will not be our last. 30 mins walk to Kathmandu Square , in fact, this place is located very central to anywhere. The staff are top class, make you feel very much a friend, at home and a VIP, and it’s natural. From reception, tour suggestions to the breakfast and room cleaning staff I must rate these guys the best, yes the best and I’ve stayed in many places in cities, from London to Milan to NYC to Paris to many capitals including Rome. I could write pages on how good this place is, but in summary, I would highly recommend, and will be staying here every time I visit Kathmandu. Thank you Sapana Garden ❤️

Our trip to Kathmandu was to celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary. We wanted to stay somewhere special, and booked a night at Hotel Sapana Garden. We definitely hit the jackpot with this booking. From the moment our car service arrived in front of the hotel, we were met with smiling, friendly faces. Things only got better from there. The lobby is beautiful, and hospitality abounds. Everything about this place is immaculate and tidy, in addition to being attractive and well-decorated. Breakfast is available at an extra charge, and includes a variety of items to suit almost any preference.

I will say the rooms are a bit small.

The main — staff of the hotel was super friendly, people were treating me very good and helping a lot: to buy sim-card, to find great places in Thamel, supporting when I ask for anything. Want to say special thanks to hotel manager Sudarshan, he was helping and assisting really a lot. Also breakfast was perfect. The hotel is situated in touristic district, so you get in the crowdy narrow streets straight after you pass the garden and go out, I liked it a lot. But at the same time it was quiet in the room at night. I loved my staying there.

There was nothing that annoyed me

Had a wonderful stay here! The place was super clean during our visit and the facilities were working as expected. It had good pressure to cold and hot water, the continental breakfast was tasty, with a delicious chai and the staff was one of the nicest I have ever met. And the photos were not far from what we got.

There is room for improvements, of course. For example: We had only one pair of slippers for a double room, but I am sure that they would have happily provided one more pair (I had my own, so we didn't need) Some wall sockets could be replaced. Shower head could be upgraded. While the photos were not far from reality, there are too many different rooms under the same article. not all are correct. But for the price, I don't think there is better!

I have traveled to 30 of 50 US states and 32 countries in the world. This is my second stay at this hotel with reason. It is quite, convenient and most important for me who works all of the time - comfortable. The sheets, pillows and the mattresses are super comfortable! Most important for me who likes to work hard and play harder. It is near temples, bars, restaurants, shoppings and clubs. Food nearby is amazing! I had sushi one day, Nepali another, some Cajun food (native to my home state in America) and some really tasty sandwiches from a small place called Godzilla Sandwiches. The restaurant in the hotel was closed this visit, but their noodles were ordered at least 3 times last visit and I enjoyed the garden patio for breakfast and coffee last time.

My room was a bit smaller this visit, but it was quiet even though the hotel staff apologized for any noise from the backyard construction. I didn't hear anything except a pigeon who came to my window repeatedly going Whoooo Whooooo at light 6am. Clearly, he was an early riser.

Narayan and his team go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable. I needed three items pressed and they had all items back to me in perfect order within hours. I left my laptop adapter at home and they found me one to use. The breakfast is lovely and the cappuccino started my day off perfectly. Just a lovely experience and hotel.

The hotel is amazing, convenient for everything. The foods are incredible and prices are good. Our room overlooked the garden. The beds are so comfy and large, one of the best night's sleep I've had.

Breakfast was basic.
