The location of the hotel is exceptional, near all transportation facilities and close to the major city attractions (except the museum area). The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Moreover, their rooms are spacious, and we were lucky to have a room with a view of the canal and central station. They also have a good gym and pool.

We would like the hotel to reevaluate three minor issues: 1) The breakfast options are limited for a 4-star hotel in Europe, especially considering the value for money. 2) The room service should invest more time in cleaning; we often found leftover dust and waste. 3) The room's lighting is impractical and dim, making it difficult to choose the best lighting option.

I brought my family to Amsterdam for 3 nights to celebrate our wedding. I wanted to make sure we chose a hotel that had both big and quiet rooms, a great gym, centrally located, and excellent workspace options. Art'otel exceeded expectations on all of the above! **** Rooms - We booked 3 Iconic View Rooms. The rooms are way bigger than what you would typically find in Amsterdam especially for the price. The king size beds were incredibly comfortable, with a few different pillow options, and high quality sheets. Unlike many hotels these days, the maid service came every single day to clean, change towels, and make the bed. Given how central the location of the hotel is right in the middle of everything Amsterdam has to offer, the rooms were surprisingly quiet with thick glass windows that shut out any sound from the street while still offering the iconic view of Amsterdam Centraal. **** Gym - We've been traveling Europe for 5 weeks and this was by far the best. It's a huge space with brand new equipment including treadmills, stationary bikes, resistance machines, free weights, and yoga mats. We went every day and basically had the place to ourselves. There's also a beautiful pool and sauna downstairs from the gym that was well maintained and a super nice post workout activity. **** Workspace - You have 2 full floors of workspaces including a more secluded lounge upstairs and nice chairs and couches downstairs. The Wifi was strong and more than enough for high quality video calls and streaming. We worked from the lounge every day and never had an issue with being disturbed. **** Staff - The staff was always super friendly and helpful, ready to assist with any guests in a pleasant manner. We did have an issue arise on our floor and the staff resolved it promptly. Niels Erenstein, GM of the hotel, even took the time to have a conversation with me regarding this to ensure we were happy with the resolution.

AVL style was wonderful. The idea can be felt in every spot of building from plates into restaurants to lobby desks. Reception staff was very kind and polite. They deserve every positive comment ever found. Room was very nice with high ceiling and colors. It gives you a feeling that you are staying in a artist’s house. Open buffet breakfast was average. Location is perfect, you can catch a train, bus metro since its next to central station. Or just simply walk for 5 minutes to catch heart of the Amsterdam.

One thing to complain about; there was an employee at the restaurant i think he’s the man in charge there. Shorty, i guess indian origin. He was very rude, never answering any question nor says hi or anything. He was so annoying that we had to complain him during the stay. They should send him to a basic course to learn how to be polite people who try to stay in pre-paid facility. If there was no charge to hit him in the face i’d love to break his tiny nose with endless joy.

The location of this hotel is simply perfect! It’s within walking distance of major attractions, surrounded by great restaurants, and just steps away from the train station. The staff’s service is outstanding. From the moment you arrive, they greet you with a smile and are always ready to assist with anything you need, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The rooms are extremely comfortable, well-equipped, and provide everything you need for a pleasant stay, whether you’re traveling for business or leisure. I would definitely stay at this hotel again without hesitation. Highly recommended.

The location. Near to the train stations and shopping streets and to district. Thanks to Francisco for helping me to find good shops if you know what i mean.

Nothing as far as i remember.

I didnt know what to expect, being part of the Radisson group i was expecting a more traditional style hotel but its very contemporary and moody. The staff were always super helpful and always greeted us upon entry and exit. We had internal facing rooms which were perfect for us as we were there for Pride weeekend and enjoyed the quietness and cosyness of those style of rooms. The ceilings were super tall with ample storage for our week's stay. I loved the separate shower/toilet and open washroom concept.

Whilst i enjoyed that there were gym facilities, it did get really hot down there. we couldnt control the AC and sometimes towels were missing. I believe its shared with an adjoining hotel as the pool and gym area did not have the vibe as the Art'otel. nevertheless a great addition as some gyms locally were charging 20 euros a visit.

Location was fabulous...just across from the train station and in the heart of the centre,close to shopping areas and access to the canal cruises and the jop on hop off services. Everything super convenient. The staff in reception were exceptional and the 2 concierges we met were super friendly and helpful and fun....always a smile and genuine in their every interaction with everyone. A great initiative at the hotel where you are rewarded if you do not want your room visited by housekeeping during your stay...a bottle of wine or a discount on hotel food or drink. Breakfast was lovely and varied and available really early in the morning for our early morning departures.

We loved everything

The hotel was in a great location. We arrived by train and the hotel was a short walk away. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was very clean and we were offered an 'eco voucher' If we decided not to have our room cleaned until the 3rd day we were eligible for either a bottle of wine or a voucher for the restaurant. We were also given a voucher entitling us to a complmentary drink in the hotel bar. Breakfast was included which was great. There was lots of choice and you could help yourself. We found we could easily walk to all the main attractions from our hotel.

The arrangement of the shower was slightly unusual. You had to exit the shower cubicle and get dried/dressed outside of the shower in the open bathroom area. Unfortunately, when making a drink, some of the milk cartons were off (out of date). We asked for some more tea bags and milk at reception and were told they would be brought to our room. When they didn't appear we managed to speak to a member of the cleaning staff who provided some. Unfortunately, whilst we were there, there were overnight roadworks outside the hotel which meant sleep was difficult!

Great location and accessibility. Good internal decor The elder “hippy” dude concierge was incredibly courteous and helpful with an abundance of sincerity. The barman on late Sunday evening was professional and polite - acknowledged that he should not have let the other Batman leave early. The waitress at breakfast on Sunday and Monday morning was on point with politeness and service.

Inconsistency of staff in manner and approach. Apart from the hippy dude : barman and waitress, reception and other staff were friendly yet unresponsive ( it should not take 3 requests to replenish toilet tissue in the bedroom!) - certainly not at this room rate!! -Poor presentation of breakfast options - lack of cleanliness in dining areas - lack of staff in bar area ( items left on tables/bar long after customers vacated) -

The staff is very nice and kind and the location is right in the center of the city in front of the big train station of the city center. The breakfast was good and the hotel seemed in good condition.

The worst thing is that something happened to me that has not happened to me in 25 years of flying and staying in great hotels all over the world. I found an old used toothbrush in the sink of the room I first entered. I told the employee in the lobby who was as shocked as I was and offered to send someone to clean the room again but the truth is at this point I lost a bit of confidence in the thoroughness of the cleaning of the place and I stayed there overnight with the feeling that the place might not be cleaned carefully.
