Location was perfect - right in the city centre next to everything! Central Station just a short walk away :) we were very unsure of what to expect of the rooms after reading reviews however we had 3 separate rooms and couldn't fault any of them! Plenty of room, modern and comfy beds!

Booking.com doesn't advise on the additional payment for tax upon check in - disappointing as we had not accounted for this so ate into our spending money. We had a mix up with luggage on check out in which we were given the incorrect case however hotel resolved the issue and shipped our luggage home.

Great central location, quiet, friendly staff and the room was clean and modern with en suite. Nice shower and plenty of space in the triple room we had on ground floor. I think many people do not realise most hotels in Amsterdam have small rooms due to the shape of the buildings, this is my 5th time in Amsterdam and this is the most spacious room I’ve had. We were also offered free coffee in the lobby when we wanted which was a nice touch, as well as coffee machine in the room.

the sliding door on en suite was difficult to use but not a problem for us.

Maybe I was lucky but room I got was good did have the option booking a 96ft which I did compare small room size available I think 76ft which to be honest any smaller than 96ft would definitely be small air conditioning was good and cold . But as some of other review are bad maybe got bad Room? Plus there some review saying there having problems with there €150 damage deposit being refunded I had no problems on check out I was told put my credit card in the machine and the damage refund was back in my account in two working days Would definitely try and book this hotel next time I be back in Amsterdam if price was competitive as location is good

TV in room was smart tv so had YouTube etc but for some reason internet wouldn't connect to TV see other review saying same thing Place I think definitely should make it more clear that you need to be over 21 to book a room could easily get caught out as no one really read to terms and conditions and I guess if make that mistake you would get no refund

Location was ideal, close enough to everything without being caught in the mad crowds at the Red Light District. Will stay here again next time I go back.

The lift broke when we were staying there, which is ok. These things happen, but it just meant we had to climb the lighthouse stairs to the 4th floor while tripping. Which was pretty fun tbh but the Mrs wasn't too happy with that.

The hotel is in a great location. It's barely 5 minutes walk to the central station. It was also an interesting experience to live in one of the dutch house rooms.

The walls are really thin, but that's okay considering the age of the building. And there was some sort of motor running at night. Not sure what that was.

It was so convenient right across from Central train station. We were only staying one night between flights and it was ideal. Lovely room in the loft everything clean and fresh. Had read some negative reviews after booking so was nervous about it but it was perfect and we would definitely stay here again. Plenty shops/restaurants around it for a stroll in the evening.

My only thing would be a brighter sign out front, we arrived in the dark and passed it as couldn't see sign.

Tip top and clean! Was a last min booking as the hotel we booked ended up being full of Ukrainian refugees and half the hotel was under construction so we had to move and find somewhere straight away. Within 2hours of being in the city centre we found the hotel booked paid and got our key to a wonderfully clean, tidy and comfortable room to which we then was able to enjoy our trip to Amsterdam! Thank you!

I cannot comment as to why the other reviews are so poor however I have just had the opposite experience. Arrived late and greeted by a young man who had already read my message on Booking.com and responded. We settled into our room. It was small, quaint but stylish and had a nespresso coffee machine, brownie points straight away. There were two single beds instead of a double, didnt worry us at all. Headed out and came back in at 1.30, again greeted by a lovely lady who asked after our well being. Hotel was quiet, not alot of background noise and we were told that our room wouldnt be disturbed unless we requested a clean. £150 deposit taken that was refunded upon leaving. No breakfast option but in fairness there is a cafe 2 doors down in either direction. Centrally located. I will definitely be returning.

Nothing I didnt like.

No breakfast included though the room was nice and clean. Beautiful decor and such friendly staff! The bathroom was modern and very picturesque.

We were told it's a non-smoking hotel but upon arrival our room definitely smelled of weed! We didn't complain because we were only staying for one night. The room was kind of small with little space between the bathroom and bed but that wouldn't stop us from coming again.

This is a lovely hotel and exactly what you would expect to find in a city like Amsterdam. Small but cosy, the room we stayed in felt like a loft and I thought It had everything we needed l. The star of the show was the receptionist pawel he was a gentleman and was always there to have a chat and give advice on the city. I also loved that they had an espresso machine in the room which was a nice touch. Also, try the coffee in the reception pawel makes a beautiful espresso himself.

I would have loved if the bar was functional but as the staff member told us they have not secured a licence to sell alcohol. This wasn’t a big deal and I’m only being picky.
