I'm used to travel alone and stay in hostels, but this time I was looking for a comfort space, hot shower and space/privacy for my nights, with a friendly vibe. CityHub excels my expectations. The staff was super friendly and helpful, easy and fast checkin/checkout. They have the kind of things that turns our life easier like soap, towels, blankets, kitchen, hair dryer, big space for shower. The place is AMAZING, super aesthetic and it's easy to get to a tram station, the most common transport there. I super recommend as a woman traveling alone. Thanks to all the Cityhub staff!

The staff were always kind. The bathrooms and shower space were separate but nice. Loved the location - easy 20 minute bus ride into the city centre however also a really beautiful 45 minute walk. Loved how the place had an option to rent bikes that was great.
It wasn’t a surprise as this is shown in the photos but the pods are SMALL. For two people packing up in the morning, one of us had to go to the hallway. The pods are also not soundproof - woke up many times from other people talking or from others alarms in the morning. The toilet areas only have cold water to wash your hands. The bar provides very small cups and small portions to drink.

It was a really damn cool stay! The location is great, the tram stops are, like, 3 min away, and walking from a city center is not that big of a deal. Bathrooms are clean and comfortable, and the pod was very comfy. The neighbourhood is calm and nice, there's a great Italian restaurant just over the corner, and a nice little cafe where you can have a breakfast with a CityHub token (if you prefer a nice full breakfast, though, I'd recommend you to not include the breakfast option. I like a mouthful of breakfast, and for me, it was more like a quick bite XD). Just around the corner there's A LOT of delicious street food options (available until 3 PM or smth, so watch it) and the freshest ever veggies/fruits. They have vending machines with toiletries/flip-flops/stuff like that, so you don't need to bring a lot of things with you. The hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly, just wow! I definitely recommend staying here.

Location is convenient - 10mins away from central but close enough to travel in, conveniently by a tram 5 mins walk away from hostel. Bed is huge for 2 pax, sufficient space for just a sleep in. there are spaces for bags - i think 1 large + 1 cabin would fit. But if you have 2 Large luggages - i think it might be hard to open them up in the room at the same time. Communal toilet and shower feels clean and comfortable. There is tap water accessible from the reception area - good enough for us to have access to drinking water. There is a food market just right outside the hostel - which is great to see and eat. Food hall is also next door. There is no nearby supermarket within 5 mins walk of the hostel, but if you stop 1 tram stop earlier, there is one.
I did find myself having dust allergy reaction while i am in the room, from the first day. Spoke to receptionist if anything can be done - but no update nor helpful solution was offered for the rest of our stay after receiving "i will talk to my manager what i can do for you."

Great location (market around the corner, close to tram), clean facilities, nice showers/vanity area, room was cool, came with speakers and customizable lights. I liked that it was a hostel but we had privacy. Staff was very friendly. They let us use their lockers for free which came in handy for our early arrival and early check out.
We were told there wasn't breakfast but when we checked out we heard another staff member tell other travelers about the breakfast options and places that provide a discount which would've been great to know during our stay. Room was a little small, hard for two people to move around (one of us had to be on the bed while the other used the floor area).

Was in a good walking distance to shops, teams or busses leading into the city center (or other directions). The cleanliness of the bathroom facilities was amazing and it felt like staying at a nice spa. The attention to detail was great. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the overall vibe of the place was great. I was worried the bed was going to be to small but it was a good size.
Was a little bit expensive but everything in Amsterdam is. The fridge was a bit to small and there was no kitchen for cooking (which I didn't expect so it was fine). Would have also liked a bigger trash in the rooms or somewhere around the pods.

The Hub was small but not too small. Just big enough. I thought it was perfect. The bed was very comfortable and I enjoyed changing the lights in my own hub. A fun surprise was that you could connect your bluetooth to your hub and listen through speakers. The Staff was incredibly nice and always ready to help. The facilities (toilet & shower) were always clean and neat. The street outside has a few cafes and small restaurants and there’s an albert heijn not too far away. The resident cat is a real sweetheart and you will see him mostly sleeping on the couches and chair in the community area.

Pods were great and convenient. The staff were cool and welcoming. Great location in the sense that you're in the outskirts of Amsterdam and OMG you're right next to a brilliant market, very handy for travellers. Also, shopping was easy along the main road. Help yourself to a drink or snack in the lobby too. Very easy stay in and out.
The cleanliness of the mattress. All over the sides there was an unclean mess like crumbs and recent food stains. It was the 2nd mattress under the main mattress protector. Please sort that out as it was quite unpleasant. Other than that great room! I'm easy so I had no problem with that, however someone else would.

Staff were great. Everything was very efficient, clean and easy. The room was cute! Very comfortable. Location was great
Not a fan of not being able to control the temperature of the room. I know there are blankets and fans. But if the room is freezing even if you have blankets it's not great coming back from the shower or your head/hans etc get cold at night. The rooms are not very sound proof. You could hear everything in the pod next to you and lots of noise from the corridor. Luckily I'm quite a good sleeper, but I did get woken up by the noise from outside.

The area around cityhub is lovely, with local markets and restaurants that aren't too crowded or touristy. Personally I think its a good distance away from the city centre - close enough that you can walk in but far enough that it's a little quieter and less super touristy. The facilities were clean and staff were friendly - there was never a queue for a toilet/shower or even hair dryer and we visited on a weekend. I also liked that you could control the lights and music through the app which was a nice surprise when we got there.
The pods were a little smaller than I expected (two people could just stand next to each other) We didn't mind so much because we were just using it as somewhere to sleep, get up and go but if you were someone who wanted a little more comfort they might not be for you.
