Hotel was in a great location just a few hundred yards from the Biljmer Arena train station and relatively close to shops and restaurants. The station is only two stops from Schiphol airport and takes less than 15 mins to reach, cost 4.30 Euros. Centraal Station can be reached in 10 mins by train for the price of 2.30 Euros. Hotel and station very close to Ajax stadium and Ziggo Dome. The interior of the hotel was well kept and modern with new carpets in the room which was a good-size and comfortable.

The window didn't close properly and didn't open either, but this wasn't too much of a problem as the weather was fair. There weren't any USB ports on the power sockets as advertised in the property listing.

Quiet area and hotel, next to Ziggo Dome . Staff were qualified and nice. 3-4 min walk to public transportation. The toiletries smelled nice. It was all OK, not a wow experience. I had only a one night's stay, so it was all right for the price I paid for it. The showers were good, hot water, and heated bathroom. So that was the best experience.

Looked a bit old, expected a bit luxury since it is a part of Marriot, but it wasn't all that. It's just a normal 4-star hotel in Amsterdam. Compared to in Asia, this didn't feel like By Marriott at all. No drinks or snacks in the minibar. I hated the full room carpet. For me personally, it felt so unhygienic. It was stains on the carpet and on the interior, for example, like the chair in the room. I felt a bit ripped off by the " By Marriott." It's not as expected like those in Asian countries. So beware 😏

The staff was super friendly and helpful. Good location with a lot of options for public transports. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was yummy. One of the reasons we picked Courtyard was the fact that it is allowed to take your pet )under a small fee, of course).

I think, nowadays, I would expect the TV would have a chrome cast or CastTV at some sorts. We live in a digital era, we should have an option to cast Netflix, Youtube, HBO or other streaming platform onto the TV. If it is a animal friendly hotel, maybe it would be possible to have a bowl of water for our four legged friends. (I didn't see one, f there is, I take this back)

There are 2 properties with Courtyard by Marriott which is misleading as there is another one close to Amsterdam airport is set in a beautiful serene surrounding Unfortunately to my dismay we were not booked for this one. We had to drive another 24 km to get yo Atlas arena property

The staff who work here are all amazing. I was checked in by Alice, who was wonderful and managed to give me a free upgrade. The hotel in itself was only a few blocks away from a client site so was super ideal. Bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was clean and fresh without odour, and the room was good size with all the facilities you would expect from a Marriott! A great stay!

If I was being picky it would be the iron in the room. Probably needs an upgrade as the one there is pretty basic and you will spend ages trying to iron one shirt. However I did request for a change and again Alice was quick to change it for me without a fuss. Had it changed for a brand new steam one and although still lower capacity it did the job ok.

Staff is very friendly and helpful!! Upon arrival we found out the room did not have a bath tub. But it was or own fault - we did not read well enough. Apparantly they assign it randomly. (Booking shows a picture of a bath which was a little bit misleading for us, but you can not blame the hotel for this) However, they still took care of us and assigned us a different room WITH bath so I was very relieved. Beds and view were amazing. Location is great. Room was very clean and tidy.

The shower - the temperature just kept changing nonstop from very hot to cold. But I think this is not an everyday problem. Would stay again.

The main desk staff were amazing, great attitude and smile and managed to keep my hood aside when I had forgotten it in the lobby. The room was of decent proportions but extremely comfortable. The bed is exactly what you would expect when booking here, slept like a baby. The location is convenient in that it's directly at the entrance of the train station which makes it easy to reach Central Station. The breakfast was one of the better ones we've had in Europe. The extension of check-out on an hourly rate option is a must and makes the transition to leaving that much easier.

The only issue with the location is that trains stop at midnight and you never come back before then in Amsterdam. When that happens, taxi will cost up to 35 euros from the center to get back there. Even though the breakfast was good it still falls a bit short compared to other Marriott Courtyard Branches we've tried. A bit pricey overall for what you're getting but still worth it as we are fans of the Marriott chains.

overall, the size of the room and comforts provided are probably quite good for an expensive city like amsterdam. price was well worth for the facilities and location. I remember i paid INR 15,000 per night which was fair. rooms like these cost~Rs 8,000 even in indian cities. food was also well made and the hotel is always clean.

while the breakfast is itself very good, they make the exact same items every morning. some kind of rotating menu would make each breakfast more interesting. also, while the staff themself are good and helpful, they seem to always have some kind of server problem. so check in and check out can take a lot of time. especially when u reached the hotel after a tiring flight, the wait can be bit annoying.

Spacious rooms, excellent location with very close proximity to public transport so was no problem getting to the city centre. Hotel gave huge discount for the car park, which is both- in a building and outside so can park taller and longer cars too. Staff great, breakfast very tasty. Very pleased . Thank you!

No instructions at the carpark on how to charge the car. But that is not hotel's car park so can't really blame them. Got a very good discount by the hotel for that very same car park so was very happy.

Chiara at the reception was very kind and welcoming. Provided information I needed, helped me with any issue I had. The hotel was nice and clean, beautiful restaurant and again - thanks to all members of staff who made our stay pleasant. In the room we had kettle, fridge, hairdryer, iron +iron board, and safe box Bathroom was spacious, loved it, and towels were soft and white The location was great - we went to a concert- just a short walking distance from AFAS LIVE, all bars, shops, metro, buses, train. You get to the airport for 13 minutes by train Central station by Metro is about 20mins Absolutely ideal

Well, the carpet in the room was very stained. Obviously cleaned but stained. I couldn't put the temperature in the room higher - it seems it's programmed and you cannot adjust it. There are no additional blankets. It was a very cold night outside, anyway
