The Location was ideal. Facilities were good maintained.

There were insects in our room when we came back late at night. The hot water was almost finished the next day. There was no coffee in our room, only tea.

Very good location easy to arrived by car, enough space for parking, 2 mins walk to métro station( to downtown about 25 to 30mins metro) , close by Ikea and walking distance(19mins) to shopping ,theater and restaurants center. The room with basic facilities .it was clean.^_^ having great stay experience with my husband for 3 nights.

I hope it can provide also one or two instance coffee pads or stick ,there are tea bags but not coffee.

Standard room with large windows. Space was a little tight between the beds and walls/tv. Modern bathrooms.

Shower water splashes all over the bathroom floor, so we used up some of our towels to wipe the floor down.

The hotel was about 20 mins by Metro from the city centre and just one block from the Metro - very easy to get to from Schiphol using public transport and very easy to get into central Amsterdam. The hotel was clean, well maintained and had a bar fridge, access to ironing facilities, aircon, wifi and parking. You can also hire bicycles from the hotel. Staff were friendly. Nice little outdoor restaurant just around the corner. You can walk to a shopping area to purchase food stuff to to make your own breakfast and buy snacks and water. Will definitely stay here again.

No explicit directions for how to get to the hotel from the Metro - I ended up walking around with my luggage which was unnecessary if precise directions had been provided - get off the metro walk to your right ( in the direction the metro is going) to exit the station. Once out of the station turn right and walk one block - viola, you have arrived!

4-5 minutes walking distance to the metro station. You can reach Amsterdam Arena ( very close to süpermarkets and bus stops) by walking 15 minutes or taking the metro for 1 station. The metro takes about 20 minutes to the hearth of Amsterdam. There was a microwave, a coin paid coffee machine and a vending machine for use of the guests at the lobby and irons at each floor. The staff was more than helpful, they solved all of our problems immediately. We didn’t use the car park but we usually saw empty spots, this means the parking is enough. Wifi worked without any problems. There were electrical plugs in the room more than enough.

We didn’t get any breakfast but we checked what it contains. It was weak for 15€ per person. The area was silent except the construction nearby. The cleaning can be better if they hire more staff.

The hotel is just a 3 minute walk from the metro station which we found super handy and it takes around 35 min with the metro to get to Amsterdam central. It‘s a bit outside but totally fine considering it is less pricy. I only booked the hotel a few nights in advance still got a hood deal. The hotel is surrounded by construction sites as they are building a new block of hotels around it I can imagine. We could hear the construction a bit but didn‘t bother us.

Only 2 mins walk from metro station then 15 minute metro journey to Amsterdam central. Metro runs every 10 mins until midnight! Vending machines available. Air con very good and effective. staff spoke English. Felt safe. Very good mini fridge in room. Good value for money. Free WiFi

Bed was a little hard for our liking. No window in room (we was aware when we booked) but just feels claustrophobic The room was quite small but we wasn’t in it a lot anyway so didn’t matter. Drainage system in bathroom wasn’t good.

Great location if you are planning to go to a concert at Ziggo Dome and also want to visit the city.

Floor cleaned at the reception but no caution wet floor sign which is dangerous!

Very pleasant and more than functional hotel which excellently serves it's purpose of accommodating various sorts of guests. Room was quite as we expected and maybe even exceeded some of our expectations. It was very clean and beds were extremely comfortable. Staff was very polite and professional, willing to do their best to make customer satisfied with the service. Neighborhood is very quiet, day and niight and, and the nearby streets are with very little traffic. There's is absolutely no impact on guests rest. Location is really excellent since you are in a modern quarter of Amsterdam with direct metro and bus lines in close proximity to hotel. In about 30 min of drive you can be in the very core of historic Amsterdam like being transferred to another world. Hotel Joy is a great example of how recommendable hotel should look like. Definitely, good value for money. Excellent choice and we will come back.

Everything was perfect

Very clean- much cleaner in comparison to other Amsterdam hotels of the same price. The staff were friendly. For a private hotel room with a window, this is by far the best value for money in Amsterdam.

The location isn't good. Realistically, you can't cycle into central Amsterdam. There is a metro station very close that takes you to central Amsterdam in 30 minutes though. There were also no laundry facilities in the hotel and no laundrette nearby. The hotel has a service where you can send your laundry away, but it's very expensive and takes a couple of days.
