I have tried a lot of hotels in my life but never like this one. It was definitely the most luxurious hotel I’ve been to! could only imagine in my dreams. The owner gave us a little welcome package with different type of curries from his country of origin. During this night we traveled from Belgium to Amsterdam but also to India. The beds were really cocoon with soft silk sheets and a brisk of musk floating in the air. We took a hot bath with bath salts in the marbeled bathroom. I will come back with my children and my grand children. We had a luxurious car at disposition. The owner came in our room in the morning and gave us a little brunch with flowers and mimosa.

The only negative point is that it was too short amount of time.

I'm not sure if the other reviewrs we're unlucky or extremely picky but this place was fine. For the price, you're getting a decent value. Location is calm and not far from the centre with shops nearby. The room was clean enough to not feel bad for a couple of days, the bathroom was shared, however we did not meet any other people during our stay, so it was ok. We had a working heater, shower and clean sheets, you can't ask for much more. Also wifi worked and was fast.

The only two things i agree with, hence taking one star down for each, are: 1. Tiny toilet. As a tall guy it was a challenge to fit lol 2. Extra pay for basics like towels is a bit ridiculous, maybe just make the room 1 euro more expensive but include them, it looks too cheap.

The location is very close to the central part of Amsterdam and you can take a free ferry there. The room was clean, had a fridge and a fan. The bathroom and toilet were ok too (there was hot water)

There weren't any sheets for the blankets and when we first arrived there wasn't any staff there to open the door and no one picked up after I called the provided phone of the guest house so we had to wait for a few minutes. Fortunately someone came to let us in. Also, to drop off your luggage before check-in cost us 20 euros (for 2 people), but on the bright side, they just let us check-in early which was a big plus.

Brilliant service Very close to the center only took 15 mins from the train station. Brilliant outside benches where you can sit and enjoy a smoke. Great for the price Will be coming back in the future

Couldn't access the vending machine however this is not a big deal as there are local shops at decent prices.

The price was cheap had a fridge and fan in my room.

Inside the building was fairly clean and very basic, I would suggest putting a tv in the room and updating the shower area, as it more just wet room you would find in a public toilet. But for the price it is reasonable.

The price,it did exactly what we want,somewhere to sleep,rooms were clean and tidy,so what we paid it was good

Honestly, people should just chill down and realize how much they are paying for this. This is not Hilton, it's got showers, toilets and beds. What more would you need? Price per night comes out to around 40 EUR per night which is unbeatable.

The toilets could be a bit better. Like renovated or something. But for example the showers and sinks were perfectly fine.

The location is close to the metro and close to a supermarket. The rooms were clean, with clean bedsheets. Quiet area. The room which we had (double room) did not have any problems with mold, humidity, nor did it smell like food. I don't know how the other rooms are, but ours was nice an cozy, with a couch in addition to the 2 beds.

The bathroom and toilet area were very small

There is a big supermarket nearby. It is very easy to reach the city with the metro or with the fairy boat. The host is very gentle. Bed were comfortable and bathrooms were clean.

The reviews were not very good, but the location is very good, the room is big, the beds were good and the sheets were clean. No towels and the building is very old, but for the price I think it was not a bad option. Also possitieve is that there is no noise at night. Shared bathroom and toilet are extremely basic. But if you are most of the time outside, as I was, it is ok.

The wall could be painted once.
