Friendly check-in, great location at the beginning of Museum Quarter, excellent room with a nice view. Spacious bathroom. You can have breakfast for an additional fee. Beautiful dining area with a terrace which can be used during a day (for work, conference calls etc.) All museums in a walking distance (approximately 5 min. walk). You can leave your luggage at the reception storage after check-out.

Location was excellent- close to everything! The staff were amazing - very friendly and helpful; went above and beyond to make special accommodations for food allergies. The breakfast was fabulous! And great little Indonesian restaurant across the street!

It was very hot when we were there - unexpectedly 30 degrees- no fault of the staff. There was no A/C- we were grateful for the two fans- not sure I knew there was no AC when I booked it. Given the age of the hotel, the winding stairs were very narrow- thankfully the elevator worked all the time so we didn’t need the stairs. And the street corner was a little noisy, with trams going by. But all in all we managed and were very happy there!

Amsterdam accommodation can be extremely expensive, but this was very good value for money. The location is excellent, close to tram stops (and actually only a 30 min walk to Centraal station) and minutes away from the museums. The room was a decent size for 1 or 2 people, with 3 beds but a fair amount of space for my bag and even enough room to do a little yoga! A fan was provided since there wasn't air con.

The shower set up was a little awkward - you have to be inside and close the door to turn it on, otherwise you'll flood the bathroom! But manageable. I think if you actually had 3 people staying in this room it would probably feel crowded, especially with more bags.

Excellent location in an upscale neighborhood between the Museumplein and the Leidseplein. Easy transport access to entire city via tram. Excellent breakfast in a light and cheerful room. Comfortable lounge on 1st floor (above lobby level) with outdoor deck, coffee maker and magazines for guest use in multiple languages. Friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean, comfortable, well fitted, and light with large windows that opened. Good shower. Elevator was efficient, important with such steep stairs.

Liked everything about this hotel but if we had to say one thing, the room and bathroom were a little small.

Amazing stay! Everyone was super kind, the room was very nice and clean. Super comfy beds, big shower, the rooms have a fridge and a kettle. The hotel has a cute terrace and a vending machine to get a coffee or a cappuccino at any time. Great great location, right next to the museum area, Spiegelgracht and Leidseplein, where you can get trams to go everywhere in the city and the bus from and to the airport. The area is quiet during the night. I just recommend bringing a sleep mask with you if the light from the windows wakes you up in the morning. Thanks again to the staff for everything!

Nothing!

Great location, near the park and all museums

Not a lot of food options nearby, other than in the crowded Leidseplein area

Location was great. Very close to the museum 's and vonderpark and only 200m to nearest tram line. Offering bikes for rent was helpful. Room was comfortable and quiet, although a little small. Elevator was helpful also to avoid hauling luggage up the tight steep stairs.

Room was a little warm with no air-conditioning although there was a large fan in the room. Price of bike rental was a tad high. Price of accommodation was very expensive but i believe that was partly due to the weekend we had to book having a load of functions taking place.

Location, one street away from Vermeer exhibition. 397 bus stop just round corner for going to and coming from airport. Breakfasts were exceptional. Bacon, egg and sausages followed by pancakes and other yummy sweet delights. All the staff were lovely and so helpful. Special thanks to Mia who suggested the restaurant called Stoop & Stoop. We loved it and booked right away for the next night. All museums seem to be book on line and generally no tickets available. Rembrants House was also fantastic, not to be missed. Hotel was very clean and we would definitely go back again. Loved it !!

The decor in our 2 single rooms was a bit dark. The wallpaper in the breakfast room would have been so much nicer.

My room was comfortable and clean room and so were the communal areas. Good facilities. Lovely lounge area with use of iPad. Good selection at breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Reception is staffed 24hrs. Easy access to river boats, trams and buses.

Booked a superior room, but it was small and dark, and the walls are thin so that you can clearly hear your neighbours. There was a big dip in the floor when leaving the lift. The floor in my room was not level, making the room look decidedly lopsided. I prefer to use stairs than take the lift, but the steps on the stairs are extremely small and a bit dangerous.

The hotel and room were very clean. Everything I needed was there. The lady at the reception was very friendly and informative. She also handed me a map of the city which is very helpful for people going to Amsterdam for the first time. The hotel is located very close to Vondelpark, Van Gogh museum, Rijks Museum. Also close to the Casino which is located in a very nice area that has a lot of cafes and restaurants at the canal. It's much recommended.

It's a non-smoking hotel. There is a terrace though where you can smoke regular cigarettes.
