tv didnt work , requested assistance at front desk they took note and nothing happened

We were impressed that the customer reception has re emerged, and the young lady was very good, friendly, helpful and gave quite a bit of information about the hotel, where to find everything, and if we needed any further help or advise then all we need to do is ask. Perfect

One of the lifts wasn’t working for three of our days, and our room was only cleaned thoroughly once and thus was the night before we left. I know that smoking is a problem, but to stand right outside the main entrance door allowed the smoke inside the hotel, maybe a shelter away from the front entrance would be an answer.

The location was a very short distance to the train station. Honestly exit the station and turn right and it’s right there. Very convenient. We purchased breakfast and it was better than average. Laundry wasn’t available unless you did per item through hotel which would have been very expensive. No electric kettle available and Lobby charged for hot water. Walkable to all museums and canal rides are right across the road but just watch for bikes! It seemed like a safe location Rooms were small and no proper chair to sit down nor table. They had a little stool but to watch TV or read you had to use the bed so it was difficult to spend any duration in your room. Dinner options were good and worth the money.

Room small and no chair or seat available No kettle Access to upper floors(above four) required two different elevators. Early Luggage drop off for hotel was on fourth floor and a general swipe key for room for access. Anyone with that general key could access your bags. There was a pay access in main lobby but that is available to anyone just not hotel guests.

Very clean, nice staff, close to central station and quite close to the dam

While the rest of the staff was kind and professional throughout our stay, our experience on the last day (December 23) was disappointing due to the behavior of the receptionist. He was rude and unhelpful when we requested a delayed checkout, dismissing us with a firm ‘No’ without any explanation. To make matters worse, our friends who requested a delayed checkout right after us were granted a significantly extended checkout time. This inconsistency left us feeling unfairly treated.

The location is super literally two steps from the central train station, which makes it very convenient if you are arriving or departing to/ from the city by train whether from/ to the airport or from/to another European destination. very easy to find flawless check in very nice lobby and breakfast area. They do have a lift and a connecting tunnel to the adjacent tower. access to public transportation is right there are plenty of trams to go anywhere in the city, although it’s walking distance to almost anywhere.

The rooms are quite small and if you’re traveling with big size luggage, it will make it almost impossible too move freely however, if you just staying a couple of nights, this is not a problem just deal with it.

Great location, central and easy to get around. Staff are really friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms and hotel over all were clean. The bar is also nice with a good atmosphere. I would recommend a stay here if you are visiting, and I would stay again if I come back

The rooms are limited on space, there were 3 of us sharing and it was cosy! (It was just a place to sleep and shower so worked ok for us) You can hear the trains (as the hotel is over the train station) but it was only slightly and didn't bother us at all - it didn't wake us or cause any major disturbance

The location near the train station and cruise port were very good. The staff was helpful and friendly. They said in an email there was a charge for luggage storage, but we were not charged. We have never been charged for storage anywhere, so this was positive. They should remove the charge statement from emails. Breakfast was good.

Internet connection was poor. They tried to help but little success. They said the internet was supposed to be updated soon, but not sure if this is the issue or a general issue in Netherlands. We had no issues on our subsequent trip through other countries.

Location location location. It is absolutely one of the best located hotels in Amsterdam. It is a 2 minute walk from the station and many of the sites are within walking distance.

It is a budget hotel. So you have to set your expectations according. The rooms are small but functional. It is not a business hotel but it is superbly located, value for money and convenient. If you are located on the floors 5-9 you are actually directly over the train platforms so expect some noise. It is also close to the party areas of Amsterdam so you might encounter several bucks or hens nights type crowds from certain parts of the UK.

Staff was very helpful. Loved the location! 2 minute walk from the train station, busses, and trams. Less than 10 minute walk to town. Paid a little extra for river view rooms and what a view! Well worth it!

The lobby area was too small when a lot of people were trying to check in. And in the mornings there was really no place for our group of 6 to sit for a few minutes to plan out our day because most of the seating was taken up by people having the hotel breakfast. Would have also appreciated some outdoor seating, especially on the upper level of the hotel. The views were stunning.

The location was excellent. Close to everything and very convenient to the train station for our short stay. The bar was lovely and the facility was clean, the front desk was polite, informative and professional.

We had requested an early check in several months prior to our trip. I received an email confirming the request and giving instructions on what additional steps to take. When we arrived they stored our bags and said they would do their best. We returned about an hour before check in expecting to have access to the room. We were then told they never received my request, I showed the email communication and they took full responsibility for losing the request. We were given access to the room and the staff handled it well but I was disappointed overall with the hotel for losing our request.
