Superb location. Great personnel. The concept of adopting several original houses, connecting them with a-maze-ing net of corridors full of artworks, and topping that all up with a secluded garden. Not to mention stylish rooms, self understanding cleanliness, or attention to (almost all) details both in design and execution. The place to be, unwind, socialise in the bar with a drink prepared by the guys ready to accept even the weird mixing challenges, or to escape from the touristy crowd outside.

Just a few minute details. Tired window in the room, which could have no longer keep itself together in the frame. slightly overhyped Jansz restaurant - very good overall and with the great professional team of staff, just some dishes were a bit lost in the execution. Yet - as mentioned - those are just minute details.

Wonderful room and amenities. Felt very comfortable and clean. Most of the staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was fantastic and I wish I'd been able to try more food options but my trip was alas too short. Great experience overall.

During my check in process there was some sort of incident with what appeared to be a manager berating the staff at the neighbouring check in desk. It was very rude the way he spoke to her and not appropriate for a public setting. The staff member assisting me did a wonderful job despite the uncomfortable situation.

Great facilities, the beds were really comfortable. The provided breakfast was really good too.

Somehow a strange 30 € minibar charge was added to the invoice, but it was removed as soon as I pointed it out during check out.

The Pulitzer has become my first choice when visiting Amsterdam both for business, and for vacation. It is a beautiful hotel with excellent facilities and restaurant/ bar options. The location is second to none and the staff for the most part are very welcoming and superb.

I requested firm pillows in advance and this request was ignored. I believe all hotels at this level should be offering pillow menus. As a frequent traveller I find this to be a game changer as it is an important component of the traveler's rest, and not difficult to execute.

The hotel is centrally located and near to many popular attractions. Lots of cafes are near to The Pulitzer, along with shops of every description and within easy distance are a number of museums. We really enjoyed The Amsterdam Canals museum which went back to the building of the canals and gave an insight into what a mammoth task it was and how clever the people who did the building were. To learn about life in Amsterdam through the centuries was compelling and we enjoyed every minute of our interactive tour. There are so many places to visit, and I also recommend a canal cruise, the circular one of which is 17 euros per person for about 70 minutes - the skippers are very knowledgeable and it is a gentle way to see canal life.

We were so impressed with everything that I can’t think of anything negative. Perhaps one tip is to make sure that, if you are hoping to visit The Anne Frank house, make sure you book well in advance as there are a limited number of tickets, and it is not possible to buy one at the last minute.

Beautiful and quirky hotel in prime position by one of the main canals. From the amazing floral display by the front door to the lovely toiletries in your room, every detail is thought of to make your stay just a little bit special. Quiet and discreet, plenty of design details to delight you and feels worlds away from a bland corporate hotel. Beautiful hidden garden to relax in and nothing too much trouble for the staff. Excellent breakfast and the hotel restaurant is very good also. Luxurious bed linen helps you drift off after a hard day’s sightseeing! Wonderful stay and will definitely return.

Location was great. Loved the history. The bed was so comfortable. The garden restaurant was fantastic. Loved the church bells

We paid $600 euros and there was an awful view. No view.

The beds are incredibly comfortable and the rooms cutely decorated (giving modern amenities while still respecting the original architecture). The staff is helpful and overall attentive. We also visited the bar and the service was excellent (reservation is required as it's popular).

This was our second stay at the Pulitzer driven also a bit by curiosity to see this hotel without restrictions imposed by pandemic measures. We had loved the breakfast in the room last time, but now found it underwhelming (especially when looking at its value for money, and considering the amount of breakfast options in close vicinity to the hotel).
