Host (Michel) is a great guy and very willing to help or guide. Location of the room is great. It is in walking distance to metro station (Rokin), shopping areas, restaurants, museums etc. Very clean room, great internal temperature (during winter as the outside temperature was 0 degrees).
Access to the room is through a very steep ladder. That was not a problem for me though. Bed was uncomfortable as the two single beds were joined to form a double one and because of that in the middle there was a slot. Michel said he will look into it for the future. There is no desk if someone wants to use a laptop to work.

Beautiful, comfortable and spotlessly clean apartment, well decorated with lots of care. Excellent location with easy walking distance to all main areas. Very quiet and restful considering a city centre location. Small supermarket opposite if needed and good options for food and drink right on doorstep. Host very welcoming and friendly. Stairs are steep but this is mentioned in the property information and host happened to be home to help with luggage. Host also Available easily for any queries or advice. A fantastic property: wholeheartedly recommend.
Having to leave.

This was in a fantastic location - very central and on a pretty street in the Nine Streets area (obviously?!). Everything was extremely easy - the instructions were clear and we were able to find the apartment and let ourselves in with no problem. The room was a great size with everything we needed. Michel was super-enthusiastic and gave us a very warm welcome when we met him.
Nothing really that we didn't like. Just a couple of things that slightly surprised us that we thought could have been made clearer. And maybe I just didn't read the description properly? Apologies to Michel if so! The stairs were VERY steep and narrow - this may be the case everywhere in Amsterdam, but it was my first visit and I thought if either of us had been at all infirm (or drunk!) I may have struggled. And the other thing is that I was expecting something more like a hotel, or B&B, because of the name, but actually its a self-service bedroom with bathroom. Nothing wrong with any of this, so I'm probably just being picky, but just would have liked to have known in advance.

The owner was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and adequately furnished. It is a convenient location in the city to branch out from. Some of the major tourist destinations are within walking distance. There are many dining options close by as well as an Albert Heijn grocery store if you want to store breakfast/lunch items in the room's small refrigerator. While I was there the city was stringing decorative lights above the street adding to the scenic Dutch vibe. This part of the city has many canals and is very beautiful. You'll almost certainly enjoy a stay here.
This area is busy with many people and tourists, so if you don't like that you'll need to lodge much further away from the city center. This is a beautifully remodeled old Dutch house, and as such the stairs are steep. If you have serious trouble walking, it is probably not ideal for you.

Michael was a happy and friendly guy who made a point to call and introduce himself and to check all was ok. The stairs were at first a challenge but we got used to them if we took our time. Great location in the centre of Amsterdam and we had a quiet room at the rear. Lots of restaurants around the inn and Anne Franks house a short walk. Just 2 rooms in this quant place and I recommend this to anyone considering it but consider the stairs could be an issue if you have mobility issues.

A very cosy room in the heart of the city. The host was very welcoming and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean.
The main issue was the price but it was our first trip to Amsterdam, so I don’t really know what prices are like elsewhere and it was Easter weekend. The bathroom was a good standard but the shower wasn’t very powerful. A small point but at this price point I would expect better. Also, only two coffee pods were left for a two night stay.

Excellent location, in the heart of the nine streets. Our host was very nice and welcoming. Clean and cozy. Tip: if you wondering if the "Chun" downstairs is worth the wait then yes. Go there at 9:40 and save a place in the line early.
the stairs was very hard for us. If you have any kind of disability I don't recommend you to book this room. Also the noise outside our room was loud and if you u have troubles to sleep (like me) you will find the noise annoying.

The location is perfect. So many great places for coffee, pastries, and dining. You feel like you're in the center of everything without being in the touristy areas around Dam Square. Our host was extremely friendly and even left a bottle of sparkling wine for our anniversary. I like the easy access with coded doors. A simple charming no-nonsense room with a comfortable bed.
The bathroom fan could use a little love - it got very steamy in the whole room after a shower.

The location is fantastic, close to everything, and a 5-minute walk from Dam Square. An excellent coffee place below the apartment. The jumbo supermarket across the street is perfect. The apartment itself is cozy and just the right size. Michel the owner is super friendly and hosptiable. A Netflix user in the TV and the fridge were an excellent addition.
The narrow stairs (but this is regular in Amsterdam) There is no air conditioning nor a ceiling fan, so there was a typical stationary fan, but it's not helping with cooling the place. The windows don't open all the way and are very hard to lift, and there are no nets on the windows, making lots of mosquitos enter the room and bite us.

The location was excellent. Right on the doorstep for all major attractions.. An amazing restaurant two doors away. The room was clean and nicely decorated. Bathroom facilities were modern.
There is a a steep flight of stairs to the rooms. OK for us but not for those with mobility issues. Coffee machine was not great. The house name on the front door is not immediately recognisable. We walked past it 2 or 3 times before realising. Might be an idea to give description in details.
