We were warmly welcomed at the Boutique Hotel and had a great experience staying there. The hotel has a very warm and historical atmosphere and we immediately fell in love with the unique design of the rooms and the great service. Everything was very clean and the location was also great. You were able to reach every important part of Leiden by foot. We can also highly recommend the breakfast at the hotel. All in all, it was a great short stay and we felt right at home in Leiden. Thank you as well to the staff, which went out of their way to provide us with a pleasant stay. We’re happy to come back anytime.

The hotel is located in a historical building a short walk from the main Leiden train station. It was also within walking distance of restaurants and shops on the main shopping street Haarlemmerstraat. Note that the building where the lobby is located and where we checked in is in a separate building from where our room was located. The room was located on the second floor. It had a great view of the canal and was also very quiet and comfortable. The hotel had history and character and made for a very pleasant stay in Leiden.

We had to climb up two steep stairs to get to our room so please make sure that your bags are not too bulky or heavy otherwise it will be better to stay in a room on the ground floor.

Very steep steps to the bedroom. A bit scary for night toilet visits and OK for me but wouldn't suit an older person, particularly trying to get a heave suitcase up the stairs. Also Booking.com said breakfast was included but turned out it wasn't. Very expensive for someone who doesn't eat much breakfast with the pound in its slump. But a pity as the apartment was separate to the sitting/dining areas so felt a bit isolating and had to get breakfast out at a third the price.

The entire building was beautiful, I ate two breakfasts here and they were delicious and the coffee was also good. Very pretty rooms and dining hall, fresh flowers and lovely music playing, it was an experience in itself. I felt safe and the location was great.

Stairs and suitcase but I it was clear this was the circumstances and it did not take away from My stay, the staff helped with my luggage.

Loved the coffee machine and especially loved the power sockets that didn't require an adaptor, I could plug my devices in straight away. The Staff were super friendly and let us check in early after a long flight from Australia. It was a picturesque location and short stroll to the centre or the station.

All good, since the apartment we stayed in is located in a nicely renovated historic building, there is no elevator, just a rather steep staircase. Not a problem for us at all, and I would expect the staff to be able to help in case guests need assistance.

Wonderful boutique hotel with an amazing restaurant and excellent, friendly staff. Great location for walking around or just enjoying a drink along the canal. Rooms are clean, modern and comfortable. Recommend booking dinner and breakfast (dinner was offered at several times slots starting as early as 1830). The hotel will send you a link to pay and select extras (after you book). Parking on the streets is paid (except from 2100 until a reasonable time the next morning--and until 1300 on Sunday); an all day ticket is around 25 Euro.

The whole hotel was so well-appointed, with beautiful furnishings, but the room I had just blew me away: high vaulted attic ceiling with exposed beams, as well as a beautiful view. The staff were also friendly and really helpful; it was the best 'welcome to Leiden' experience I could have. Amazing!

Very friendly and professional staff. At arrival we were served Coffee while reception was preparing our check in. Staff offered assistance with luggage which was great since stairs are narrow. Breakfast excellent and prepared á la carte. Atmosphere is relaxed. Comfortable beds and spacious room. Location in Leiden is excellent. We really enjoyed or stay.

The room was full of character, as was the whole hotel and neighbourhood. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Leiden is a fascinating old town, with many delightful hidden corners

There were a few little issues when we first arrived, but these were taken care of swiftly and efficiently
