The location is amazing, alomst a minute walk from the central train station, supermarket and convenient store are right next to it, behind the hotel is a lovely place to walk and close to good restaurants. Staff are friendly and welcoming. The view from my room was good and shows the area behind the hotel with nice windmill and churches tops. Cleaning staff was respectful as i was having meetings in early mornings.

The room was small (double) and not enough space for clothes and no space at all for the luggage. The hotel and room felt very outdated, lights were turning on and off and all felt old. No amenities (at least have a pair of one-time use slipper) The bellows were soft but too thin and wornout i had to use all three to try and sleep. Very expensive compared to what is provided.

I could see a windmill from my room! Hotel is across from train station, which was perfect because we did day trips to Delft, The Hague, Amsterdam, and even took the train (20 minutes) to Schiphol Airport on the last day. And yet it was an easy walk to all the sights in Leiden, including Botanic Gardens, Japanese museum, said windmill, Mayflower homes, the concert hall. Thorough daily cleaning. Cleaner always remembered to top up the UHT milk for my tea. Rooms were sound-proofed.

I didn't like the squeeze bottle for hand soap. Too hard to squeeze unless you're a professional wrestler. Please give me a tiny bar of soap.

Perfect location, just across the street from the train station and buses. Supermarkets and a drug store on the same block. Very close to museums, restaurants and other places of interest. My room was clean and comfortable. Often a room for a solo traveler is quite small. This one was larger than most. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I was allowed to check in early since my room was ready. This was mush appreciated! Excellent breakfast with many choices.

I have stayed at many ibis hotels in different countries and cities and you always know what you to expect. They are standardized and basic, yes, but they are always clean, they have what you need and not at least; the beds are comfortable. That is why I keep coming back. The best feature with this particular hotel was the location just across the street from the train station.

The breakfast was good, but more expensive than at most of the restaurants in the city.

Among the advantages of this hotel I'd like to mention the central location, close to the main station, supermarket, city centre and 30 minutes from the sea. The service was great, we got clean towels and coffee/tea every day. The staff were really nice and helpful.

If I really have to mention something I liked less, but which is by no means a negative aspect, I would say that perhaps the water jet in the shower was rather weak. Maybe it was because I was on the 6th floor.

The service provided by the staff and receptionist. Very kind even though I did not speak Dutch they were incredibly knowledgeable about Leiden and I cannot thank them enough for the recommendation to visit Annie’s restaurant. They also helped me with a plug adaption at 4 am Breakfast was very good. Clean, delivery consistent. Thank you from the Irish guy

Central location next to station, very comfortable hotel with very friendly staff. We arrived early in Leiden & were able to check into the room & after our stay we were able to leave our luggage at no extra cost, which was much appreciated.

Didn't get on with the bedding, too heavy & made me feel sweaty because of fabric. Toilet paper was pretty thin - our earlier stay in Den Haag used bamboo toilet paper to be environmentally friendly & it performed much better, so would highly recommend Ibis to look into.

The hotel in general is very nice. Well located and reasonable price. It is still expensive but that's because all is expensive in NL. Check-in and check out super efficient and the staff very kind. The room had everything we needed, including TV, AC, and kettle with coffee and tea. The fact that it is a recognized franchise gives us a lot of confidence, and they make up for their name.

We were told in advance that maybe it wasn't possible to get a double bed, but maybe two singles put together, the problem is they don't remain together and we ended up having to pick one side or the other to sleep.

Excellent location in easy walking distance from city centre - and would have been very convenient for the railway station had we bwwn travelling by train! Only a short distance from the car park. There was a wide selection of items for breakfast and the coffee was good.

The room was quite small and we found it rather warm although we did jiggle with the temp/air conditioning controls. We could have done with being able to reduce the temperature at night to below 19.

Friendly and helpful staff, very convenient localisation just opposite to the central train station. Two supermarkets nearby. It is necessary to scan the room key for extra security before being able to enter the elevator and the stair case to the rooms. The garage costs 16€ per night and is just a 5 minute walk away. The room has a very big shower, AC and big windows. Although we had the "do not disturb" sign out one day, we still found a paper bag with fresh towels and cups in front of our door.

Unfortunately fully opening the windows was not possible, only putting it on an angle. The room could provide a second garbage bin, as the bin in the bathroom is very small. A fridge in the room would have been nice, too. Although fully closing the curtains it does get quite bright in the room after sunrise, so please bring a sleeping mask in case you easily wake up from brightness.
